Hayami Vs. Gobatsu

Hayami had been restless lately, as she had ended up on some strange red wasteland. The sun didn't shine very often, and there were many dust-storms of red sand. When the sun did shine, it was blazing hot, and when it was night time, temperatures were ridiculously cold. This place was surely odd, and Hayami had trouble adjusting to it - It's not that it troubled her, It was simply that it was new.

Hayami let out a sigh as she looked around - she felt a little uneasy. For some reason, i dont feel anything other than my own Reiatsu, but i feel as if - for some reason, i am not alone. There has to be somebody else here aside from me - and it's obvious that they're keeping their distance and most likely studying me. I guess i'll be forced to confront this thing sooner or later. Hayami though, as she felt a bit uneasy at the fact that she felt as though she was being followed, but had no idea what it was.

Days passed, and Hayami had built a little mud-house, fusing her spit with the sand, and using it to create a tiny fortress. (Shh.... She also used kido to help her, but we don't need to say that ). Whew! All done! Hayami said, smiling as she stepped back from her work. All the sudden, a large gust of planetary dust came and swept her mud-house to nothing but damp sand. Hayami dropped to the ground and let out a loud grunt as she punched the ground with her right hand.

Something caught her attention, and she stopped throwing her childish fit, and she stood to her feet. Finally. She felt it. She felt the reiatsu of another - probably the one who had been stalking her. She drew Zangetsu from her back, and held it in her right hand. You! Whoever you are! Come out! Now! Hayami shouted, in a challenging tone.

Goubatsu had also suddenly appeared on this strange place. Immediately he was restless...where was his master...where was anything. The white sands of Hueco Mundo had been replaced with this red sand, and it was slowly driving the mindless arrancar crazy. Goubatsu with his advanced sensing skills could sense that there was another entity in this place so he decided he would check it out.

However as time passed he grew more and more annoyed, beginning to make grunting sounds and tearing to shreads anythin that got in his way...reducing boulders to pebbles. Goubatsu finally got a lock on the source of the reaitsu and he turned towards that direction. As he continued walking the red sand began to pick up, slowly becoming a sandstorm which might become dangerous later. Goubatsu started off walking towards the energy...then he ended up running.

After a few minutes of running he discovered the fort and noticed a shinigami with a zanpaktou in hand. Goubatsu immediate reaction was to kill, so he jumped forward and lifted his sharp hand aiming to pierce the girl through the heart, thus starting the fight.

Hayami was a bit surprised at how sudden the fight was initiated, but it didnt bother her very much. She was glad she finally had something to do, which was fight this person. She could feel from the Reiatsu that it was quite obviously hollow, and the human form proved it was an Arrancar. Hayami smiled simply because she knew she would have fun during this fight, and because she finally had something to do other than to walk on this baron and red wasteland.

Hmm. This is an Arrancar that obviously still latches on to the instinct aspect of a hollow. I mean, come on - he didnt even speak - he simply just went into an attack. And here i was, thinking that Arrancar were supposed to of gained sophistication... At least somewhat... Oh well. This one is obviously different from the rest. Im not exactly sure yet what i should do, though i am certain i'd better stop this attack... Meh. Hayami thought to herself as she watched the Arrancar jump and aim for an attack for her heart.

Dont you think at all this might have been a bit sudden to attack?! After all, we could have had a temporary alliance! Bah! Whatever! Away with you, Arrancar! Fight like the rest of us SOPHISTICATED people! Bakudo Number Eight! Seki! Hayami said, using a reflective Kido at the end of her left hand, aiming to reverse the attack and bring at LEAST minimal damage to the Arrancar.

Goubatsu, although silent and mindless was observative and he was familar with kidou. As he noticed that the girl was doing some sort of kidou, he immediately changed his attack...his hand curled up into a fist and suddenly an extremely fast bala was fired. At this time of close distance dodging it would prove to be difficult for the vizard, since bala was extremely bala and because of the distance as well as how it was kinda a surprise attack.

However this Bala was extremely powerful, it would negate the Bakudou as well as blow back Goubatsu moving him away from the vizard, dodging her attack. He then jumped back. Goubatsu looked at the smoke that would come up from his attack and he growled as he looked forward waiting for results. He was aware of his surrounds and on the alert.

Hayami was surprised at the change in attack, and quickly went to change her Bakudo. Gahh! Bakudo Number 39, Enkosen! Hayami shouted, quickly making a new type of Kido Shield. It didnt last very long, as it only block half of the Bala before it shattered. The rest of the Bala, Hayami took, though she was prepared, and it didnt do as much damage as it would have if she didnt use the Enkosen. The only damage was a bit of torn clothes, and two burn marks on her right breast, and lower stomach.

Your lucky, Arrancar. If i had more time to prepare that kido, your attack never would have hit. Now, dont expect to get anymore lucky shots, ya jerk! Hayami said, using a shunpo to appear a few feet above him. Getsuga Tenshou! Hayami shouted, allowing a Shikai form of the Getsuga to flow off from her blade.

Goubatsu growled as his attack didnt kill his enemy. He growled louded and some of his true spirtual pressure was released...He was nearing an Espada level in strength, however he wasnt an Espada. As he looked at Hayami his rage built further. He sense her motion and lifted his hand as she made her attack. Like Ulquiorra, Goubatsu had an extremely powerful Hierro...which is also why he doesnt normally draw his blade in the beginning of a fight.

As the Getsuga Tenshou fired it would make contact with his hand and move no further. "AHHHHH!!!", Goubatsu screamed as he then moved his hand to the side, deflectin the Getsuga Tenshou and firing it off into another direction.

At the same time Goubatsu went on the offensive. With his other hand at this close distance he pointed a figure at Hayami. A powerful purple cero charged quickly and was fired, at the same moment Goubatsu blocked the Getsuga Tenshou...

Hayami smiled a sinister smile, [i]Perfect. He's finally going to fight for real. In that case, i'll simply use some REAL kido. Hayami thought, holding out her left hand. Hado Number 63, Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down! Hayami shouted, as the kido shot from her hand, easily overpowering the Cero, and continuing onward towards the Arrancar. Hayami shoved her Zanpakutou into the ground, and began to laugh.

Oh, how SCARY! An Arrancar who doesnt know how to fight! Pathetic! Hayami taunted as she watched her kido draw in closer to the Arrancar. She quickly snatched her Zanpakutou back up, and released another attack; a Getsuga Tenshou. Take that! Getsuga Tenshou! Hayami said, firing the attack to add onto the kido that was already racing towards the Arrancar.

As Hayami made fun of him, Goubatsu only became enraged more. He stood as the two attacks came towards him. He would wait until the right moment and lift his hand. Suddenly if Hayami didnt do anything a hand would go through her chest. Goubatsu waited until both her attacks were close enough to him that she would lose sight of him. He then sonidoed to get behind her when the moment was right he his eyes. Goubatsu would appear behind the woman and stab her through her chest with his bare hand. She wouldnt know that he made a move so this was a probably surprise attack. Hayami would soon learn that Goubatsu's Hierro wasnt his only dangerous factor...

After Goubatsu did this he howled. His reaitsu was staring to flare out of control. At this point he seemed like a full fledged Espada. After he made his initial attack if successful he would simply continue piercing her body until she was nothing more than bloody shreads.

Hayami felt the Arrancar moving, as his reiatsu suddenly changed places, but didn't have enough time to properly move away from him. She did, however, have enough time to move her body about an inch upwards, so the attack would go through her stomach and not her chest. As the hand passed through, Hayami let out a loud cry, as blood flew from her stomach. The cry was loud and lasted for about 5 seconds, and because of the pain, Hayami's reiatsu was acting a bit weird... It would raise, then lower, raise and lower. But eventually, it went back to normal, staying how it was before the attack, even though Hayami was still in pain.

She slowly turned her body to face the Arrancar, even though his hand was still through her stomach. D-...Damn you! Hayami managed to say through the pain. She held her Zanpakutou in her right hand, tighter than ever, and reached her left hand and grabbed the Arrancar's face. Bakudo Number.... Number 9, Geki! Hayami shouted, not very loud, simply because of the pain. A red light engulfed the Arrancar, paralyzing him. With the Arrancar Paralyzed, she managed to free herself from the Arrancar's hand, while keeping the Bakudo active.

By the time she faced the Arrancar, the Bakudo began to ware off, and she quickly thought of another Bakudo to use. Bakudo Number 21! Red smoke Escape! Hayami said, throwing an invisible ball at the ground, allowing a large red cloud of smoke to engulf her, to which she simply used a shunpo to escape, appearing several meters behind the Arrancar. The pain was slowly subsiding, and the pointed her left hand at the Arrancar, and spoke, through the subsiding pain, and in a whisperCarriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. Hayami said, knowing that because both of the Bakudos' she would have enough time to say the incantation of a Kido, but whether or not it would hit the Arrancar, Hayami was NOT sure of.

Goubatsu roared loudly as his attack was a success. However he noticed once again the girl wasn't dead...this angered him further and he went into a rage. Goubatsu was going to attack again but then he noticed that the girls hand was on his face. "OOOHHH?", he said in a confused tone before he was paralized by the Bakudou. When paralized he screamed, throwing another rage.

However Hayami wouldnt have the time she thought she had. Goubatsu was a powerful arrancar and a level nine bakudou was made to hold a weak hollow..it would take much more to restrain him. As Hayami freed herself Goubatsu growled like a wold and as she turned around to face him again Goubatsu broke free from the spell and he lunged towards her attacking her as she was using the next Bakudou. However Goubatsu wasnt fast enough so all hed be able to land would be a slash around her torso area if anything at all.

Goubatsu disappeared in the smoke so when Hayami prepared her next bakudou she wouldnt know where to aim it. Goubatsu disappeared as the smoke cleared, when the smoke clear however, there would be a hole in the ground. The Bakudou would have no destination as Goubatsu dug underground.
