| Ashei slowly walked onto the wide and spacious rock platform. Ashei had found a nice quiet place in the forest to practice with her marksmanship and her skills. She looked up at the sky and all around her. Even if the area was quiet, the weather, not so much. It was extremely cold today in Karakura, god knows why. Ashei had been relaxingg, sunbathing in the bright warm weather the sun shining, when small cold drops of rain it her. After a few seconds of rucking to collect her things, hail started arriving, hitting Ashei with quite a sting. And with only a bikini on, Ashei had been riddled with small inch sized bruises. She clutched her items and dove inside the Quincy hall before she could get any more damaged. After ten quiet and uneventful minutes of sitting in the Quincy Hall with no signal for tv, she snatched her bright red plastic raincoat and thick yellow knee high rubber boots with duckies on the tiips of her toes and ran for the forest. Her thin red plastic raincoat didn't exactly defend against cold icy hail, but it kept her slightly dry and warm.
She looked around for quite a while, around an hour or two, for a nice place to train that was quite a distance from Karakura. Her blue-black hair in it's usual loosely tied pigtails were easily tampered with in the heavy storm winds. When she was leaving, she hda heard from another man that it was supposed to get even worse. She sighed quietly, the sound barely audible. The raindrops hit her raincoat, making quick snapping noises, as if someone nearby was popping bubble wrap. The mud collected around her boots, along with dead leaves and dark red pieces of rotted wood. The mud made the bright yellow duckies look dirty and fearsome. The hail made a more thicker snap than the rain, occasionaly a bigger piece struck her coat, and if she was unlucky, it hit her head. She noticed the sky getting darker, very dark, blocking out all the sunlight in combonation with the thick foliage of the trees. She kept walking, panicking slightly when the rain started to get heavier.
The mix of rain and hail and darkness scared Ashei, as she found it difficult to keep up with the path for a while. She started to get off track when the mud mixed with the normal forest area, erasing the path itself. Ashei stumbled along, as clueless as ever. She finally came upon the huge stone surface. She was amazed. There was even thick stone steps leading up to it. On her way up, Ashei tripped becuase of the cold rain and ice, and fell miserably. She hit her nose on the edge of the platform, not breaking it, just making it gush bleed. She removed the hood of the plastic rain coat, letting the cold rain wash over her nose, washing and clearing the blood away. Her hair was wet now, though her long sleeved striped blue shirt and velvet red pants with white stitching still perfectly dry. She wasn't in her hidden form at the moment. Ashei looked down and sighed. The blood had gathered at her metallic boots, the only piece of armor she was wearing. It quickly washed away, though the site of a young Quincy Leader standing on her very own blood in the cold hard rain seemed quite poetic.

| Distant memories... Being accepted as the new General to the Kido Corps, for her complete mastery in Kido had set Hayami in a good mood. She was extremely cheerful - more cheerful than she usually was. She had surpassed the old general in the Kido Crops, with moderate ease. She had proven to know more about Kido then him, and she had a easier time performing each kido, and was simply better overall. This had upset the old General to the extent where he left the Kido Corps, and began life anew in Rukon District 34 West. This just made things easier for Hayami, simply because she had the Corps all to herself for awhile, and maintaining peace within the Division would be easy - at least until other members started coming in. Then chaos would be bound to happen, eventually. Hayami was walking through her room in the Barracks of the Kido Corps, when she decided it was time to go visit the World of the Living for the first time in awhile. She smiled as she exited her Barracks, sliding the door shut behind her. She unsheathed Yamagiri, and slid her hand across the blade and let out a happy sigh. She then closed her eyes and focused on the area in front of her, and without a seconds thought, she stabbed the area ahead of her with her Zanpakutou. A bright light shone afterwards, and large gate appeared - shut at first. After a second or two, it slowly began to slide open, only to appear Karakura Town. Ahh. How beautiful. The humans are going about their business, and the day seems nice! Hayami thought as she stepped through the gate. Hayami stepped into a fresh patch of grass, and looked to her bottom right, to see a small creek flowing south. She looked at it and then back at her surroundings. She noticed that around her were many trees, and some had cherry blossoms blooming, while others had tiny fruit. And of course, on most of the trees were birds, flying to and fro, going about their business - whether it be building nests, or tending to their young. It should also be noted that the weather was fairly warm, and there weren't many clouds in the sky, and all was unusually quiet. She looked around her, and gave a content sigh, Everything seems different from when I was last here... she thought to herself as she took her first step. The trees have grown a great deal, though the trees in Soul Society are much larger, and look a great deal more elegant. These buildings the humans have made... Why must they be made of metal and glass? Why not make it out of wood, like it is done in Soul Society? Is it simply because the humans don't wish to waste any more trees? If so, then it is understandable. But... I suppose I catch myself wondering about this more often than i would of thought, but, if Soul Society is kinda like the 'heaven' to the humans ... then why do the humans have cars, and us Shinigami in Soul Society do not? That really is odd... Hayami thought as she walked through the park, and onto the side walk. As she stepped onto the sidewalk, a human suddenly walked past her, seemingly in a hurry. He carried a large briefcase, and wore a extravagant suit made of what seemed to be cotton. These humans are always in such a rush. Why can't they just relax and take their time? Hayami thought to herself. Her thought was soon ended when a car ran by her, and a small gust came afterward, messing with Hayami's hair and her Captain Haiori. She was likely to choke on the disgusting smell of the vehicle, but instead held her breath. She decided to continue her walk on a faster rate, as the smell of all the vehicles was beginning to bother her. If these humans had the brain power to create a vehicle, why can't they create something to get rid of that horrible smell, then?! Hayami thought to herself, covering her nose as she hurried through the sidewalk. She took a sharp right, and ended up in what seemed to be the town center. There were many shops, cafes' and restaurants. The humans were going in and out of the shops, and sitting down to relax and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee. Many of them were teenage girls, with countless bags of clothes hanging off their arms. The other majority were teenage guys, who continuously go and flirt with the girls, but would usually get turned down, and send back to their group. Hayami continued down the sidewalk, and soon ended up at a school, where many children were outside, laughing and playing. There was a large playset outside, made out of colored metal. The children were getting up to the top and screaming out battle cries, and the other would laugh. These kids are so very odd... she thought to herself as she stopped her walk to observe the children. A female teacher ran out from the door, and grabbed two children by their arms, and began to shout at them. Hayami wasn't able to make out what she was saying, but it was obviously nothing good, otherwise she wouldnt be yelling. Hmm... humans can be so very harsh... Hayami thought as she looked away from the school, and continued her walk out of the town. Several minutes later, she was out of the town, and began walking on fresh grass into a small little forest. It seemed like a nice place to go, after all, the sun was beginning to set, and the temperature was steadily dropping. So, she decided to enter said forest, and study the wildlife that crawled about, and possibly conduct her own little experiments with kido and plants, and possible tiny little creatures. Though her thoughts were soon interrupted, as she felt the nearby reiatsu of another Shinigami. She didn't recognize the pressure, but knew it was approaching, and decided to wait where she was and confront the shinigami, and question them about who they were, and what they were doing here. So, on that thought, she unsheathed her Zanpakutou, and began to poke at the ground with it, awaiting the mysterious shinigami to approach. She waited and she waited, for what seemed like hours. It had become painfully obvious that the Shinigami was not coming, so she gave a sigh and sheathed her sword, and walked back into town to go explore a little bit more. How beautiful... Hayami thought, walking through the toen, seeing the moon and stars reflecting from the glass on numerous buildings. Beautiful... But I'd better leave before i end up staying too long... Hayami thought, unsheathing her Zanpakutou and reopening the Senkaimon. She appeared back in the Seireitei, and had decided to go check out the Squad 13 Barracks. She had heard rumors as of late that a new Captain had claimed the position, and Hayami wished to meet him. She was unlike the other Generals' of the Kido Corps, she was more active with the Gotei. She let out a sigh as she continued onward, through each of the different Barracks until she came to the Building that had "13" on the outside of it. She put a smile on as she opened the door, and walked through the building, taking many different turns, and going into many different doors. When she finally found the door that said "Captain" on it, she knocked on the door, waited three seconds, and opened it. She had a large smile on her face, and she removed her modified Black & Red Haori from her back, and sat it on a nearby chair. Hello, Captain. I am Hayami Rentai, General of the Kido Corps. Nice to meet you. I hear you're new? Hayami said politely. What a pain... The thought of that day passed Hayami's mind as she wandered around on the inside of the Warehouse, trying to get her mind off the bitter rain. It was such a beautiful day - rain and hail always made for a calm rest-of-the-day inside the Vizard Warehouse, even if the Vizards never really came out of their rooms anymore. They all seemed to be boring - and sleeping an unusually long period of time - It was actually quite disturbing. For a once very-active race, the Vizards began acting as if they had osteoporosis, always wanting to stay in bed for some reason, which made it uncomfortably boring in the warehouse. Hmm, I dont really want to be here... God it's so freakin boring here... All these dimwits want to stay in their rooms and it's not fair for someone active like me! I guess i'll just go for a walk, I haven't been in rain & hail for a while, today will just have to be the first in a long time. Hayami thought, removing her white haori, exposing her black and white shinigami robes. Ahhhh. Hayami sighed as the heavy and hot haori was offically off of her back, and she walked to the door to exit the Warehouse, swooping up Zangetsu as she strolled towards the door. I suppose i'll have to give myself some sort of kido umbrella to protect me from the rain as WELL as the hail... Hayami thought as she opened the door, whcih allowed a giant gust of wind to allow hail to enter, as well as a giant wave of rainwater. After she stepped foot, after wiping the large chunks of hail off from her body, she quickly rose her hand above her head and smiled as a transparent barrier of kido appeared from her hand, which began to instantly protect her from the rain and the hail. With a content smile, she stepped one foot in front of the other and began her jolly walk in her Spirit Form, with the giant zangetsu across her back. She wasnt looking for anything in particular, she was just goin for a walk, and she laughed as she noticed there weren't any hollows out at the time, Perhaps the hollows dont like the rain... or maybe it's the hail... hah Hayami thought as she continued and walked onto the sidewalk, which was right by a main street. As soon as she did, she felt a powerful reiatsu - which felt almost human, but not quite. Hayami wasnt sure what it was, it could be one of thual Quincy she's heard about, but she's never actually felt a Quincy for sure, so she cant say for sure. All she knew was that she was going to meet it, and if it turned out to be a Quincy, it'd be as good as dead. | |

| Ashei sighed softly and quite sadly while looking at the world around her. She loved the rain, but not when giant inch thick icy hail pelted her skin in an unrelenting fashion. She was left with bruises, some were turning a dark purple color, while others just had that pre-purple shade to it. Ashei collapsed unto her knees on the wide round stone platform, a prisoner to her own memories. That fatal rainy day when Ashei was still a young, sparkly eyed 10 year old. She had been at home, as always, in the families huge spacious apartment. Ashei had everything she could ever want. Her parents pratically spoiled the young ashei with gifts and toys and beautiful presents. Though unlike other typical rich families, Ashei's parents raised her with a sense of honor and kindness.
Something instilled in her from practically the day she could walk. Though her parents knew she was just born with her natural sense of happiness and politeness. She still remembered answering there old olive green cord phone with the old fashioned numbered dial. The ringing jolted her from the television, and she ran to answer it. She still can recall every word, every single syllable, from that conversation between her and the police comissioner. "This is 1665 Cherry River street, correct? And i'm assuming you are a miss Kioru Nerai, of the Neria family?" The man said to her, his voice tinged with sadness, but mainly dominated by seriousness. "Yes, it is. And i'm Kioru. Why are you calling, sir?" Ashei asked him, her voice childish and kind. She still recalls when she was still Kioru. The man cleared his thoat.
'Your parents, they died in a car crash earlier this morning at 10:15. Their car hit streetpost on 13th Avenue, and they both died in a matter of minutes. After the paperwork is cleared, you will be sent to live at Nemida Orphanage, seeing as you have no immidiate relatives." The man explained calmly to her. She whimpered a yes, before dropping the phone onto the holder. Ashei slipped onto the floor, screaming, crying, all alone, and knowing that no one will ever arrive to tell her evrything will be alright. A few people came to pick up her and a few of her belongings. As they drove away to the orphanage, she witnessed a man put a "For Sale" sign on her home. She can recall every single day spent at the orphanage, a total of 5 dreadful and miserable days.
After spending nights crying and plotting, she ran away from there. But not before taking into account the weird cross strapped to a silver ribbon around her tiny teddy bears neck. She untied it slowly, wrapping the ribbon and the cross around her wrist. You can still see the ribbon and cross around her wrist to this day, the ribbon faded a dull white. This cross remains the same. Her treasured Quincy Cross. She noticed a small ribbed space in the fabric of the teddy bear, and a peice of paper sticking out of it. She grabbed it, her hands trembling, On the front was her name, Kioru, written in bold pencil strokes. She opened it and tears started to fall as she read it.
Kioru, in case we never grow old enough to tell you during your time of age, we have left this note, as well as many others, around the house, hidden quietly and specially. What this letter may contain, is vital to you, your heritage, and especially, your abilities. You are a Quincy, a special race in it's own race. Our entire family, as long as rare others. We are a line of spiritually aware humans, capable of making special bows and arrows from a material called spirit energy. You, as your duty, must kill the creatures known as Hollows. They are instinctual monsters, known for devouring dead human souls, known as Pluses. If you must, work with a race of special souls capable of fighting them too, known as the Shinigami. Many Quincies are taught to hate them, but do remember, they are your allies. Find other Quincies, aid them, help them, teach them. Please return to your ancestors hometown, Karakura Town." The letter read.
The fancy script ink was faded, as it must have been there for quite a while. The quickly ran out of the orphanage, finding her way through the lower city scum unto Karakura. She trained along the way, and by time she arrived at Karakura, she was starting to master her gifted abilities. She advanced herself everyday, striving to become a strong Quincy, and eventually, The Quincy Leader. She struggled to find a substanstial amount of Quincies to lead, and she still does. Ashei stood up again, small tears running from her face, barely visible in the cold rain. She regained her balance again, looking into the deep green forest foliage. She sighed as she looked around. The rain started to get harder, hail got thicker, the wind got faster and stronger. Her dull brown eyes looked on over Karakura, scanning it for Hollow activity. The platform started to become cluttered and littered with peices of icy thick hail. After a matter of seconds, they started to melt away, just forming cold puddles of ice water. Her plastic red raincoat flared in the wind, like a bright ersatz flame.
Her yellow rubber duckie boots were now clean of dirt as the rain hit them, splashing back from them and onto the stone platform. Her blue black hair wet with cold rain and pieces of hail stuck here and there. Water streamed from the tips of her pigtails and onto the back of her light blue striped shirt, forming darkened blue lines, uneven and unequivalent to the other simple lines. Her red pants were still completely dry, except for the knees, as when she kneeled the raincoat had slipped above the knees, leaving them vulnerable. They had two dark circular red patchs, the velvet fabric metted down with water. Her upper metallic boots had tiny drops of water on them, once every few seconds a drop slipped and joined another drop of water. She looked around quietly and slowly, sensing a decent amount of reitsu. She sighed calmly, wating for the strong mystery person to approach her, rather then Ashei got to them.

| Hayami had been approaching the pressure for quite some time, purposely walking slowly, for the simple fact that if she used Shunpo, the ice would pelt her at incredible speeds, as well as if she ran, the hail would surpass her barrier and pelt her in her eye. Hayami's eyes widened as she heard the cry of a hollow, loud and sad, and with disbelief, she turned to her right, to see a giant menos grande walking right at her - hail pelting him as if he were an enemy to the American Army. What the...?! How did he get there?! Hayami thought with disbelief as she sat there, her mouth wide open as she was confused and a bit frightened. She had never been so close to a Menos Grande before, and she was afraid it would step on her and completely crush her.
Without wasting any time, she lifted up her hand and the look of surprise vanished from her face as she knew exactly what kido to use. Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Hado Number - Hayami managed to say, only to be cut off by a lightning quick Cero. Not having any other option, Hayami gritted her teeth and shut her eyes tightly, using a Shunpo to evade the Cero. Knowing that she could still finish the kido, she held her hand back up and pointed it directly at the Menos with anger, and shouted, Number 63! Raikoho!! She shouted as a gigantic blast of beautiful yellow electricity shot towards the Menos, making direct contact with it's abdomen. Since it was raining, Raikoho did much more than it usually would, and electrocuted the menos until the white mask turned black, and the long black robes of the menos lit up in gigantic flames.
It was a rather odd sight - seeing a gigantic Menos Grande, on fire with a black mast - it was surely not something you see every day... or any day for that matter. It let out another sorrowful cry as it fell backwards and right smack into a building, crushing it as if it were a sand castle on the beach. Awh! Damnit! Hayami roared with anger as the menos smalled into the building, breaking it. She felt at fault for it, and knew if she would have simply slashed it with her Zanpakutou, that wouldn't have happened. So, before any more damage could be delt to the city around, she grabbed Zangetsu, and the cloth covering the blade slowly dispersed and shrunk to a tiny tassel on the end of her hilt. With a shunpo, she appeared above the Menos that seemed to be using the building as a chair, and slashed her blade vertically, making a giant verticle fissure on the Menos, and watched it disperse into Spirit Particles.
With a sigh, she placed Zangetsu across her back, and as she moved it from her side to her back, the cloth somehow regrew in size and wrapped itself around the blade. Now that the mysterious Menos was delt with, Hayami could continue her now somewhat peaceful stroll looking for the possible human, possible Quincy. After a few minutes of walking, Hayami realised that her face was in pain, and thought about how and why it could or even would be in pain. Ohhh... Duh... Damnit! Hayami thought, as she figured out what caused it - It was the shunpo she did when she used it to appear above the menos. Many blocks of hail had pelted her in the face, brusing her face badly as she was moving at incredible speeds. Hayami gave a deadpan as she continued her walk to look for the person.

| Ashei's eyes twitched with anger and wrath. A Menos grande. She felt it's reiatsu from where she was standing. Though the other pressure mingled with it. Ashei spun around, summoning her bow frmo her glinting Quincy Cross, charging up a arrow to head right for the center of the Menos Grande's huge ugle forehead. She blinked suddenly, when I after a few seconds of fluctuating Hollow pressure, it dissappered as quickly as it had arrived. She turned in to opposite direction of a huge cliff, and released her arrow just below the bright green rain soaked canopy of trees. She looked at her Quincy Croos and the white faded ribbon that held it securely in place. Her tiny cold hand gripped it tightly, still remembering on how she recieved it.
She quickly and abruptly realized that this Cross was the only thing that remained from her former life. In a way, it had seen every situatation since the day she recieved it. She kneeled down on the smooth stone platform surface, this time voluntarily instead falling victim to depressing. She looked down, dragging her fingertips around the smooth surface covered in cold puddles, slowly and quiely. She gazed at her reflection, and the dark clouds above her head. Each time she brushed her fingers across the puddle, the reflection would become troubled and disturbed, before settling calm and peaceful once again, only to be distrubed by her fingertips, rain, and unrelenting hail. She thought about how the puddle in the rain was like her very own life. A small puddle, with her trapped in it.
Quick to disturb and trouble with things like Hollows and Espada. Yet slow to recover from things, things that only time will heal. The process repeats for her. Always and constantly, until the day Ashei's life will end. Another thing that bothered her tuny puddle, was the way she was to die. As far as Ashei knew, she'd barely make it past her late twenties. With her being the Leader, a very strong and powerful target amonsgt lots of races, there was a high possiblity of being killed and dying young, alone. Even if she managed to make it past said death prediction, who knows how long she would live after that. Even if she gave up her Quincy powers and hid herself, she would still have people looking for her. She sighed again.
"Your just a seventeen year old kid, you worry way to much. Even if you are a special human warrior gifted with the ability to see dead beings and kill them with arrows made from energy and being the Leader of them all, you still worry too much. Ya know, maybe this all just a very decieving and cunning dream. Maybe you'll wake up, in your warm comfy bed, and have nothing to worry about. You'll walk downstairs, and Mom will be making breakfast, like evry morning. Dad will wave bye as he drives out of the tiny old garage, and drive down the street to work in his old beaten up blue car. And you'll have your friends come over to watch tv and talk about the latest action figures." Ashei whispered quietly to herself, her tone broken and depressed. To any normal human being, she sounded like a happiness depraved teenage girl with a weird get up. But to Ashei herself, well, she sounded exactly the same. Crazy, broken, depressed, and depraved.
But Ashei knew that was just her on a bad day. Today was definetly a bad day. Ashei sat on the ground, her odd blue black bangs that flared near the top of her nose clinging to her forehead. Water caused the front of her red pants to grow drak red, like how her knees were. Once again, the water renewed that dark red spots on her knees. She was cold and shivering, and even though the plastic red raincaot protected her partially from rain, and pitifully from hail, it didn't do anything against saddness and the cold feeling that accompanied rain. Her boots squeeked with every move she made, adn she didn't exactly hate the noise, but it wasn't something she'd want to constanly hear. Her head was bowed towards the ground, as if she was in a deep and dazed maditative state. In truth, she was just to tired to left her head once again.

| Hayami, still walking in the rain, gripped Zangetsu from her back, and pulled him from it, exposing the blade. Oh Zangetsu... Hayami sighed, touching her left hand against the blade, noticing how very cold it was. She looked down at the ground and gave a sad sigh as thoughts were racing through her head - and she was completely and utterly unsure of what to do. I... I'm lost. How will I ever decide what to do? They... They are my friends. Hayami thought, as she felt a pain in her chest - and the pain was as recognizable of them all: Sadness. They cared for me... They gave me a place to live. They befriended me... ... they listened. Hayami thought, shutting her eyes tightly, and dripped the cold, wet handle of Zangetsu, holding it only with one hand. Yes... I understrand. A deep voide said as it placed its hand on Hayami's shoulder in an attempt to comfort her. Hayami with widened eyes turned to see who it was, and to her relief, it was Zangetsu materialized. She let out a sad sigh and turned back looking in front, Zangetsu... she began... Dont worry about it. Never look back - Don't make a decision based on the past, make one based on the here... the now. Zangetsu said, as he stood on his sword as the wind blew fiercely. But... They're my friends... If I don't look back... then... You know what that means, Zangetsu... Hayami said, almost pleading for him to give her different advice, but instead, he closed his eyes and made a low hum with his throat. Are you sure... Zangetsu? Hayami asked, as a tear fell from her eye, though it was unable to be noticed, as it was raining, and there were already countless streaks flowing from her face. I am sure... And on that note, Hayami's sadness finally disappeared, as did Zangetsu and a sly smile came over her face. Then it is decided. Hayami said with a smug and evil voice, as she slammed her blade into the ground, forcing the ground to be Zangetsu's new sheath, which in turn left giant cracks where the blade was planted. Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired... Hado 91: SenjÅ« KÅten TaihÅ! Hayami shouted as she tossed her left arm forward, and dozens upon dozens of spears of light followed after, reaching for the sky. They made a feint whistling noise - almost as if they were multiple missles shot from a canon, racing towards their object to slaughter them. You're mine... Hayami thought as the spears exploded when they reached the rain clouds. The explosion was gigantic, and it was apparently so hot, that is literally vaporized the clouds, instantly stopping the rain and hail in it's tracks. Even though the sun was shining, this particular day was rather chilly - so now that the rain was gone, it felt no different - just there was no water falling from the sky, nor giant chunks falling. And once the clouds were vaporized, Hayami snagged Zangetsu from the ground, grabbing the cold steel handle and jumped high into the sky, focusing her Reiatsu onto the bottom of her feet so she could walk in the air. Once she was in the air, she began to run, with each step sounding like a small gust of wind, she ran, looking, ever vigilant. Alright - Enough games. Where the hell are you... Hayami thought, running through the air, with a wild grin on her face, and an evil look in her eye. The Quincy, that Hayami was now sure thats what it was, had to be around here somewhere, and when Hayami found it, it would be forced to fight her - the Leader of the Vizard Race. Hayami's grin grew even wider when she caught a glimpse of a female to her left, and in an instant, she used a shunpo to appear directly in front of her. Good evening... Quincy. Hayami said with a smile, as she brought Zangetsu up to her shoulder, allowing it to rest and reflect the new-found sunlight onto the Quincy's face. Hahaha. I knew if i just kept looking i would eventually find you. And guess what... chick. You're as good as done! Hayami thought, her grin still as visible as a hawk in the mojave desert, which, of course, isnt very visible, so, her smile couldnt be properly compared to such an unrealistic thing, but mind you, it WAS visible. Clearly. | |

| Ashei was still sitting on the ground, as if she was a broken item, only able to do one thing over and over again. She looked back at the tiny icy hail clusters and crawled over a to a particularly large piece of icy hail. She sat there for quite a long time, just pushing and flicking the huge icy piece of hail back and forth, and the only sound that could be heard was the sofy scraping of ice amonsgt thick stone. After a few more minutes, the ice started to melt and dissapate, and eventually turned into a thick, cold, crystal blue puddle of water. She sighed, tired and wet and especially freezing cold. Ashei stood up and rocked back and forth on the tiny soles of her feet, her bright yellow rubber duckie boots squeeking with every move while her red plastic raincoat simply moved along with Ashei's movements.
A quick thunderous boom followed after an immense streak of lightning. But, unlike typical lightning, Ashei had seen it come from the ground level and up to the clouds! When it struck the huge, cumulous cloud that was causing all this messy rain, hail, and disterous wonds, it dissolved, as if there was nothing there in the first place. Ashei's eyes lit up with shock and surprise at the sudden boom of electricty. She noticed the rain and hail stop suddenly, although the wind was still quite strong. Ashei racked her brain for a solution to what had just occured in her eyes. Umm....maybe it was...no, it could've been that...maybe the construction workers did something wrong and it caused a huge electric blast...no, could be that either....what if..." Ashei thought to herself, her eyes staring down at the rock again, her face blank. Ashei was in deep thought, held captive by the thoughts and worry of her very own mind.
Her expressions suddenly awankened from the deep thinking she was in. One word, one word all alone had brought her back from her think. "Shinigami, that's waht that pressure was too. It certainly makes sense. The lightning....had to be Kido....nothing human, mudane, and normal could produce a shock that huge and bright. For god sakes, that Kido spell dissolved an entire cloud, and nothing ANY human could manufacture could do something like that so very quickly. Be prepared Ashei, theres a highly likely chance this shinigami may be a hostile one." Ashei thought once again to herself, the tone in her mind serious and determined. This was the first time in the entire that she was entirely and completely focused, even when navigating throught the rain she hadn't of been this serious. It was a change of pace for Ashei, sorta interesting to feel the seriousness gathering in her mind.
She silently awaited the shinigami to arrive, her Quincy Cross gripped tightly between her index finger and her middle finger. Her eyes glared at the trees where she heard rustling sounding from, and saw a female approach her. This was the pressure and a very strong one at that. She looked at the girl approaching. Black hair, green eyes, and a particularly large sword. Ashei stared at her, her eyes cold and calculating. "And good evening to you, Shinigami." Ashei said quietly, her dark dull brown eyes still staring at the Shinigami girls bright emerald eyes. Ashei fiddled around with her Quincy Cross, flipping it between each finger, as if was a thick silvery coin. After fiddling with continuosly off a few idle secinds, she stopped, letting the Quincy Cross fall from her fingertips and hit the base of her wrist with a tiny pop.The ribbon was dotted with dark grey marks caused by raindrops, yet it still retained some of it's silvery gleam.
She turned around slowly, using her left heel as leverage to turn around. Ashei laughed, and started walking around the edges of the stone platform, circling the shinigami as if Ashei was the Quincy predator, and she was the Shinigami prey. Although Ashei didn't think as such, she thought of certain Shinigami as friends, not enemies. She finally looked at her and smiled, still slowly walking. "What's a strong Shinigami woman like yourself doing out here in the cold, rainy, and dark forest?" Ashei asked suspiciously. It seemed as if she always had trouble with the shinigami, even if she was polite and kind. They never seemed to get that she wasn't an enemy, but maybe an ally. Like the youg shinigami she met earlier on in the week, the boy had treated her and an unusually polite Arrancar with rudeness. Ashei left him with a nice punch in the stomach. She could still remember hearing the air leave his lips.

| Hayami's greeting was taken by a few seconds of absulute silence, as Hayami watched the female fiddle with a cross in her hand. It seemed as if it was somewhat amusing to the Quincy to do so, though Hayami couldn't possibly say for sure - all Hayami knew was that she at least got her acknowledgment. Even though Hayami wasn't expecting it, the female returned greetings by saying the same, just directed at Hayami instead of herself. This brought surprise to the inner thoughts of Hayami, though she didn't allow these thoughts or this surprise to manifest itself upon her psychical being, and instead, remained standing in the air, slightly above the ground. Hayami just sat there, looking at the Quincy, saying nor doing anything in particular - on purpose of course, for dramatic purposes. A slight gust of wind made its journey through Hayami's hair, which blew it to the right as if it were but feathers. As well as her hair, her robes also fluttered in the slight gust, which made a slight "fwop"-ing noise, which, against her will, made Hayami giggle as it reminded her of a Nursery Rhyme for some ridiculous reason. Along with the physical manifestation of the being called Hayami, the nearby trees, tree branches, leaves and shrubs also were being tampered with by the gust - though unlike Hayami, to a much greater degree. Leaves were flying in the air like it was some sort of miniature tornado, and branches were blowing and making these long, dreadful creeking noises as they were relatively close to completely snapping and falling. Though, for some reason, no matter what happened to the trees and everywhere else, it happened to a much much less degree on Hayami - though that could possibly be because of her high reiatsu, naturally protecting her more than normal... Hayami, with her right hand, squeezed the hilt of Zangetsu, and smiled as she felt the cold steel become slightly colder the harder the squeezed it. With ease, the lifted it from her shoulder and twirled it around on her ringers only to smal it into the ground vertically, which made a relatively loud boom and crack noise. With a smile, Hayami seemed to float higher in the air, and she placed herself on top of the hilt to Zangetsu, while the tip was pressed deep into the ground. Just like Zangetsu. Hayami thought as she dropped both of her arms to her sides, making it look as is she was a mass of fwopping robes with a dead attached to the top. She placed her right foot on the hilt, and her left foot on top of her right foot, making it seem as if she really only had one leg, when of course, she had two. Her eyes shifted around for a few seconds, looking at the Quincy, then at the nearby trees, then back at the Quincy, and at the ground... and finally, rested her eyes upon the cross she held in her hand. She eyed the cross for about a minute or so, though her face remained expressionless, she was in amazement, as she knew exactly what that cross was, and exactly what it did. That is the famous Quincy Cross... what the Quincy use to manifest their Spiritual Bows to fight the hollows... I would really love to know how it worked... how it gathered Reishi... and how it created the bow... Hayami thought, as she wrinkled her nose is displeasure as she wasn't content with her current knowledge of the Quincy Cross. If Hayami could figure out how to recreate an item such as the Quincy Cross, it could be relevantly satisfactory for herself and all that follow under her, as she could create for them weapons that could literally generate themselves at any given moment. That would be a grand day indeed, as well as a day to be remembered - not to mention a day that would likely never come, as Hayami knew, the Quincy - as a people, as one; Keep many of their secrets hidden somehow beyond the eyes of even the most intelligent, and to figure out such a complex item would require cunning and intelligence beyond current standards. Hayami hopped off from her sword, and landed to the ground as silent as a mosquitoe lands on a human's arm; as silent as a ninja falling from a tree. With a deceptive smile towards the Quincy, she disappeared in a shunpo, leaving only a slight "fft!" as she disappeared, leaving Zangetsu where it was in the ground. She appeared several meters away, hidden by many trees and bushes, and began to walk towards what felt like a hollow. As she walked through the trees, and held out her hand and with one word, became invisible, as well as completely masking her reiatsu. Kyokko. Hayami said, speaking the 26th Bakudo. As she approached, she looked through the thick branches and leaves and observed the hollow, which sat there in a seemingly confused and nullified state. No doubt this is because the Quincy and myself are here. Our reiatsu is enough to paralyze such a weak hollow. Hayami thought to herself as she brought her invisible hand up to her invisible chin. When one becomes a Hollow... they are first a Plus, which is the Spirit of their human form. When they turn, they literally change... taking in the reishi around them and bringing it to their body to aid with the transformation... Hayami thought, knowing that if she thought hard enough of this subject, she would eventually figure out how to recreate an item such as a Quincy Cross. Hayami, still invisible and completely undetectable, bowed at the hollow, showing (well, not really...) a token of thanks. She then jumped into the air, and made her right hand completely flat, and turned it sideways as she brought it down full force at the hollow's mask, slicing it in two vertically. Just from seeing you, hollow, I have realised the first step in recreating an item that would be extremely beneficial to myself. Hayami thought smiling an invisible and undetectable smile while turning around and walking back towards the Quincy. One foot after another, then once more, and raise the right and left arm and move the branches, and there you go. Hayami stepped out of the thicket of trees and bushes and began her descent back to the Quincy, which was a long walk considering she used a shunpo to go to her destination while leaving. This short, yet long walk would certainly give her time to think about her new possible experiment, though she chose not to think about it, as now that she had a general idea, once she returned to the Warehouse, she would have a seemingly unlimited amount of time to research and experiment with her new theory. And with a Shunpo, she appeared right on top of her blade once more, still invisible and still undetectable - though Kyokko only hides the target from sight and detection - they are still able to be heard. So, when Hayami landed back on her blade, the "fft" of the shunpo could be heard, as well as her straw sandles contacting with the cold steel made a slight "tsst" noise as she landed. With a smile on her face, her arms by her side, her hair and robes flowing in the wind, she allowed the Kido to completely ware off, slowly, and little by little exposing herself to the Quincy once again. When she became completely visible, she gave the Quincy a sheepish grin and a tiny laugh, Sorry to keep you waiting. Hayami said, noticing that all of what she did should have at LEAST been ten minutes at the LEAST. And while on top of her blade, she gave the noble looking quincy a slight bow, only to look back up at her with a grin. I suppose now would be a good time to try phase two of my newest theory. Hayami thought to herself. And now down to business... Hayami said, falling from her blade with lighting speed, grabbing the hilt of it as if it were a misbehaved child, and tore it from the ground, grabbing it with both hands. Her dominant right hand was placed higher on the hilt than her left hand, and the blade was pointed - at an angle - sort of towards the Quincy, sort of towards the sky. Hayami's right foot was placed futher back than her left foot, and her back slightly arched. She bore on her face a wicked smile, as if she was somehow possessed, but didn't mind it one bit. You shall be my little helper today Quincy. And after you help, you die. Hayami said, releasing her left hand from the blade, and using her right hand at full power and full speed to pull forward a giant horizontal slash at the Quincy's hand that held the Quincy Cross. Hayami let loose a gigantic grin as she wasn't very far to seeing if her new theory could or even would work in an experiment. | |

| Ashei leaned down to the ground, observing the Shinigami womans moves. Even though Ashei trusted Shinigami, eventually, that is, a good fifty percen of Shinigami liked to well....cause some trouble with Ashei first. Treat her rudely, disrespect her, think she was meager, just because she was a Quincy. Of course, her Reiatsu always gave her away to this sickening fools who liked to treat like trash just ebcause her methods were unconventional. They didn't care that she was a born a Quincy, that she had discovered her powers albeit under very harsh circumstances. They didn't know what she went through, the things she had to see, to deal with. And she could tell from the start most didn't even care. They thought they were so damn high and mighty, able to show off, to run the world and become the best there ever was to walk the grounds on which any living, or dead, being as ever walked upon. It hurt Ashei to the core.
She, as the Leader, as the one to represent the Quincy race, had to show them that once in a while, another race can hold that treasured spot. The race with the best of intentions for the world and it's beings. Sure, there were always those Quincies....the ones that meant harm to others around them and who would work and cooperate with the forces of evil. Ashei wasn't one of them. She did what was best for the Quincy race. She wanted them to survive, and live on. Not to be murdered by any other race, whichever it may be. Ashei was brought back to the ever present reality, when she noticed the shinigami staring focused at her Quincy Cross. It angered her, strongly, to see that. She looked as if she wanted it, to claim. as if ot was rightfully hers. Ashei returned the stare with a icy cold glare, enough to make even the most uncaring person shiver. Didn't this shinigami have her own damn personal effects? Yes, that lovely oversized zanpakutou that she flung around as if it was a silly toy.
Ashei, of all people, knew that items that lended you power, were not to be played with and tossed around like simple machines. She twitched slightly, noticing the pressure of a hollow very nearby, yet it made no move. She whipped her head to where it was emitting from and looked at it. She wanted to summon her bow, to murder that...that monster...where it stood paralyzed. She glared directly into it's eyes, just for the hell of it. She was aware the thing didn't feel fear, or any emotion for that matter. They were like zombies. Instictual, no feelings, nothing at all. Just constantly moving to devour the souls. Monsters they were. Ashei watched quietly as the shinigami woman slayed it, regretting that she just sat there and stared at. She gripped her Quincy Cross tightly in her hand, unknowingly. There were eight sharp points around it, it looked as if someone had overlapped two crosses.
The points, though not very sharp, yet pressured by Ashei's pale palm, dug into her skin, causing brihgt crimson red blood to flow down her hand, and unto her arm. The blood in contrast to her pale white skin was almost morbid and macabre, shocking at the least. She stopped thinking about the blood dripping down her arm just in time to hear the woman speak about keeping her waiting. She must've figured she wasn't that important, but, well, that tiny little cross was. She stood up looking at her, giving a dull, alomst robotic smile. "Don't worry about it. I'm just a human being, i'll be dead soon, right?" Ashei said in a sarcastic tone, the smile fading away from her face. She stayed quite alert on the girls moves, knowing that at any moment, this woman would most likely strike. Seeing the desire in those emerald eyes had already tipped her off to this womans goal, and Ashei couldn't take any chances.
She stared on, dull brown eyes, as the woman took a change of pace. The blade striking the stone, her tearing it away, and finally, the odd angle at which the blade was positioned towards both her and the sky. She stared, hearing the womans demand seconds before she slashed. Sadly, Ashei was already tipped of by her half-demand half-death threat. She used a highly advanced Hirenyoku, and was swiftly standing behind the shinigami, pulling out one of the very special swords she had created herself. It was pure angelic white, with a decorative hilt and guard. In Ashei's theory, it signifys that beauty can be blinding to the mind, and had affectinately nicknamed it "The Executioners Sword". A blade oh so beautiful and and lovely, it looked as if it couldn't harm a thing, in sharp contrast to the other blade. It was still quite beautiful, though the appearence was menacing. Raven black with bright red markings all over the lower half of the blade. A silver circle sits in the center, formed by grey snakes.
The gaurd rised over her wrist, protective, in a way. On the tip of the hilt, was a skull, with 6 dull spikes sticking from it. She nicknamed this one "The Twilit Sword" , as if the blade itself could reunite the two worlds, spirit and human, much like how dusk unites the sun and the moon. The blade of the sword itself was odd too. It began wide, and took a sharp turn into a narrow decline, eventually coming to a broad and sharp point. She smiled brightly at her, this time, it was a genuine smile. She raised her hand with the ribbon strapped around, attached to her blood coated grey Quincy Cross, in parallel to her eyes. She looked at the woman and smirked. "Ya want it? Come and get it. I dare you to claim the item that is rightfully mine." Ashei spat at the shinigami. She wanted to test her so badly. She wanted to win this oncoming battle like she had never had wanted before.

| Hayami smiled as the Quincy used her form of high-speed movement: Hirenyaku, which was exceptionally fast, rivaling a Shunpo as well as a Sonido. Clearly impressed, Hayami brought her blade back down towards the ground and shoved it in the ground once again, and gave a slight smile as she turned around to face the Quincy. She saw an elegant-looking blade, and it was beautiful enough to be considered a Zanpakutou, though there was one major flaw with her using a blade from the World of the Living... And that is definately a large disadvantage on her behalf. A zanpakutou is the sword manifestation of the spirit living inside of a Shinigami or Vizard - and it's material is many times stronger than that of a normal blade. That meaning, a normal blade versus a Zanpakutou would shatter likely on contact, leaving the Zanpakutou on the winning-side, obviously a fact that the Quincy didn't care to think about. Hayami, still smiling, released her Zanpakutou which was once again shoved into the ground, and rose her right arm and pointed at the sword that the Quincy so firmly held in her hand. Poor Quincy, you seemed so very smart, and yet, you overlooked such a large piece of the puzzle, so to speak. Hayami pointed out as her eyes shifted from the blade back to the Quincy cross and back to the blade again. You realise that what you hold in your very hands is an ordinary sword, and the sword I hold is... far from ordinary? If our swords come into contact, your blade, by force, will literally shatter due to the fact my sword is a literal piece of my Soul, and yours is ordinary metal? Hayami asked, as well as pointed out, and as she spoke, she allowed her left hand to swoop over slowly to her right side and lift the blade from the ground, making a loud clank of resistance as she pryed it from the ground and held it firmly in her hand. Hayami laughed once again as she rested Zangetsu on her left shoulder, as the wind continued to flow wildly. If you wish to fight me with a blade, you will be leaving your area of expertise, as I would clearly be the victor when it comes to fighting with a blade, as i have done so for countless years... for countless decades, for pleanty more centuries. Hayami pointed out, allowing her blade to fall from her shoulder and just barely hover above the grass beneath her feet. But if you so wish to challenge me with a blade, I will not hold back, and I will obliderate you by all means necessary. Hayami pointed out, yawning after she spoke the sentence of challenge, even though it wasn't a request, rather, a few second-warning to either change her tactic, or die believing she stood a chance. Hayami obviously didn't wait for her to make a decision, and when she had a chance, he pointed her finger at the Quincy and smirked, Hado 88, Hiryugekizokushintenraiho! Hayami shouted as a literally GIGANTIC wave of blue lightning-energy escaped her hand in the form of a deadly dragon. Hiryugekizokushintenraiho : - Spoiler:
Hiryugekizokushintenraiho - Fires a gigantic electricity blast of spiritual energy resulting in a truly enormous explosion.
Not wanting to waste any time between the kido and her next attack, she swipped up her blade with her right hand, and used a full-speed Shunpo to appear horizontally-above the Quincy, still smirking. Her shunpo was so deadly fast, that the Hado had barely left where it was fired at when Hayami reappeared, and as the Hado raced towards the Quincy, Hayami slashed her blade full force and full power horizontally, regardless that she was at least 10 feet above the Quincy, and smirked as she whispered to herself, Getsuga Tenshou... as a gigantic, cresent shape attack of pure-reiatsu left her blade and was racing towards the Quincy at full force, full power.

| Ashe smiled at her, slowly. She knew full well that this sword was useless against a shinigami's zanpakutou. She nodded softly to her. "Your right, this sword is just for the purpose of murdering Hollows, seeing as I createdwith spiritual energy, yet no sword. Think of how a Gigai contains a Shinigami soul. The same thing for this sword, in a way. It is a vessel, that houses the power of spiritual energy. It is the sword equivalent of my Spirit Bow, Killing Hollows with no mercy. No purification. Unlike your sword, it contains no soul being within it. Yet unlike my bow, it requires no summoning. Humans cannot see these two blades becuase of the immense spiritual pressure within them. It is unique. But it's not nice to say my area of expertise cannot be other things too, like sword fighting and hand to hand combat. Your jumping to conclusions dear, give some intterest, or you'll be dead before nightfall." Ashei said quielty to her seoncds before the Kido blast.
She used Hirenyoku again to get back to her previous spot. She smiled at the blast of energy released from your blade. "Impressive. I like it. Shall we test it?" Ashei asked her, summoning her bow. Her golden armor covered her entire, up unto her neck. A tiny golden tiara rested upon the tip of her head. She smiled, raising her golden and ivory bow above her head. "Behold, the Quincy Leader reveals her power." Ashei proclaimed. She used Hirenyoku to continuoly surround the shinigami girl, shooting her with barrages of arrows. She aimed at her feet, her neck, her midesction. She finally used Hirenyoku to where she was far above her, shooting tons of arows down at her. It looked like it was raining sharp golden arrows down from the sky, something quiet amazing. She returned back to her spot, awaiting the girls move.

| Oh dear, heavens no. Jumping to conclusions would be you saying i'd be dead before night fall. Hayami said sarcastically as her Getsuga and Hado hit nothing, which was an obvious disappointment to Hayami, though she didn't express it. Hayami had listened closely to her explanation about her sword, and cringed when she mentioned the 'no purification' part, which angered Hayami a bit, to know that because of her, balance could once again be drastically set off, and the Shinigami, Vizards, and Hollow will be at war with the Quincy in honestly no time at all. What an insolent brat, this chick is. She knows not of the topics she speaks of, and she's getting in way over her head, and this will surely be the end of her, completely and utterly. Hayami thought as she gripped her blade with both hands, grinning.
Hayami watched as she used her Hirenyaku multiple times, firing arrows at Hayami, which went quickly, but weren't backed with the proper power, so Hayami simply smirked as she rose her blade up high and brought it down, destroying all the arrows coming towards her from the front, and then slashed her blade to the right, destroying the arrows coming from the right. With her left hand, she fired a super-powered Hado 1, Sho, knocking the arrows to her left aside, watching them fall to the ground and disperse into spirit particles, and to the arrows coming behind her, she used a very handy Bakudo 8, Seki, repelling each of the arrows, which flew towards nobody as Hayami saw that the Quincy was now above her. The battle may of just started, but i can already tell that this wont be getting anywhere if we continue like this... Hayami thought, lashing her blade above her, firing a Getsuga Tenshou, destroying the arrows from above.
With a relatively quick Shunpo, she appeared far to her left, on top of a tree branch, and began to laugh. It seems i have underestimated you, though i can clearly see that at this rate, we wont be getting anywhere. Hayami stated as she slowly drug her blade and placed it outwards in front of her, as the cloth on the hilt wrapped around her arm. In an instant, a giant wild built up from where Hayami stood, as she was charging her reiatsu, and it was picking up leaves and dirt from all over, and making a loud wooshing noise as she did so. Her reiatsu began to build all over her body, giving her a blue glow to her appearance, and her eyes began to turn a faint blue color. And that is why i must end it soon! Ban KAI! Hayami shouted as all of her Reiatsu instantly turned a dark black color, outlined with red, which billowed up in front of her, completely hiding her appearance.
Inside of the billowed up Reiatsu was Hayami, sitting there, with her hands open, as two Tensa Zangetsu's were formed from the black and red reiatsu, in her right hand was a Thin White Zangetsu, and her left was a thin Black Zangetsu, and on her back rested a long, ankle length tattered coat, which was black on the outside, white on the outline, and red on the inside. Towards the ankles, the robe was tattered, ripped; exposing the black white in red as if it were some king of flag. Now that Hayami was in Bankai, her Durability, Strength, Speed and Reiatsu were ALL VASTLY increased, and Hayami was coarsing with power, and laughing as the wall of reiatsu disappeared, finally showing Hayami's two blades, as well as her new coat. She smiled, Oh, but i will judge your abilities when it comes to weilding a sword. It is impossible for you to be as good as me, as i have trained for countless years, and you have trained for a fraction of how many i have, which would be an understatement. Hayami said, smirking.
With Hayami's VASTLY improved speed, she literally disappeared from the tree branch with a shunpo that VASTLY surpassed the Quincy's Hirenyaku, Hayami appeared directly behind her, with both of the blades in her hand. She smiled as two red Getsuga Tenshous began to sway on her blades, and she laughed as she slashed both blades downwards, as a gigantic Getsuga Tenshou ripped off of the blades, at point-blank range, with the intent to kill. There should be no way she can escape this! Of course, at most, it'll damage her highly, but i know it wont kill her. She should die after this attack, which will be followed by a slash. And if not, then clap clap clap, quincy, clap clap clap. Hayami thought as the Getsuga Tenshou's were ripped off from her blade and began to make their few-inch descent to the Quincy that they were behind.

| Ashei yawned most of the time the woman spoke. She was still wondering if the explanation about her blades had angered the woman enough to provoke a good attack on Ashei. Ashei was counting on it. She sighed again, very sadly. She expected a kick, punch, even a angry yell would've put Ashei at peace of mind, but nothing ensued her speech except a grin. She yawned, eyeing her. This woman was strong, very strong. Hopefully a good match for Ashei. She blinked for a few seconds, noticing this woman went into her Bankai state. Ashei remembered that Bankai was the second stage in a Zanpakutou's power. And a rare amount of Shinigami had Bankai. She frowned, knowing Ashei, and only Ashei, had the cursed luck of battling someone with a Bankai.
And she wasn't too thrilled about that. "This woman either has the intent to kill me where I stand, or she is getting tired. My bet is on the former option." Ashei thought to herself. She huffed quietly as this woman shunpo'd behind her. She was getting really fed up with fighting, seeing as Ashei was more the "Let's negotiate, yeah?" type of leader. Not the one that attacked without any mercy whatsoever. She quietly mumbled bitch under her breath before returning back to face the reality staring her in the eye. She wondered if her few seconds of dazing off had shown, but you couldn't blame her for doing it. It was a natural reaction to anything boring, dull, uninteresting, or serious.
Ashei was usually the playful type of girl, in certain situations, that being said."For a crazed shinigami woman, you fight good. Congratulations shinigami woman. For you have earned the Quincy Leader's scarce, yet genuine, respect. Now, I have a big question for you. Do you want me to go into my Quincy Final Form, or do you not? I suppose I shouldn't but......after all.....I guess it's common etiqette to always be nice to your guests." Ashei said to her in a slightly mocking tone that was barely traceable. Her Hirenyoku was fast and effortless, though not quite on par with the woman's Shunpo technique.
She quickly used the said Hirenyoku to get out of the way of the two Getsuga Tenshou's. Ashei's eyes widened as she realized she didn't have enough time for that. The Getsuga Tenshou's hit Ashei's body, knocking the wond out of hr. It sliced her shoulders deeply, her waist, her legs. Ashei coughed into her hadn, blood splattering her fingers A small tch sounded from Ashei's mouth as she looked over all of her increasingly painful bloody wounds to the shinigami woman. She fell to her knees, though still alert. Ashei sighed slowly one again, the battle weariness getting to her quicker then she thought it would be. And it hit her quite hard.
She softly wiped some blood from her shoulder, noticing the spot where she wiped just reformed in blood once again.[i]"Hey now, any closer and you would've left me short of an arm. Now now, you should be nicer to others. It's not really a good thing to be so mean. You can make lots of enemies that way. And that really wouldn't be good, now would it?" Ashei said to her, slowly and wearily, throwing the female shinigami with emerald eyes a wide toothy smile. Ashei's eyes were narrowed, her smile wide, almost mocking. She had never looked so threateningly creepy, when she didn't even mean to be.

| My vision is becoming nothing but real now... Hah! I knew it was only a matter of time! Hayami thought watching both of her Getsuga Tenshou's hit the Quincy directly, causing incredibly massive damage, almost severing both of her arms, and sending gashes throughout almost her entire body. This Quincy is as good as dead, and after I kill her, the Quincy Cross is mine for examination! Hayami thought, grinning once more as she slowly walked towards the seriously injured, and presumably partially-disabled Quincy. Hayami slowly brought both blades to the Quincy's throat, and gently rubbed the tip of it against her throat, possibly making tiny cuts as she grinned. So, how's it feel to be here, so close to death? Is it cold, Quincy; does it hurt at all? she asked, smirking. Even if it did, knowing you, i doubt you would even admit it. But, as I was saying, I'll be killing you and taking that Quincy Cro- Hayami said, but was cut off as tears began to flow from her cheeks.
Caught off guard by the feelings of regret, she slammed her blades deep into the ground, though as they met with the ground, a loud explosion was heard, and it cratered the ground beneath the Quincy and Hayami. As the crater formed, they both fell to the bottom, and Hayami's blades fell to the ground, making slightly clanking noises as they met with the hardened earth. What am i doing?! Did i just do that to an innocent Quincy?! What's going on!! Hayami thought, as she rose to her knees, paying no attention to her Bankai blades. She had no memory recollection of what had just happened, and didn't even remember leaving the Warehouse, and now the ended up, about a mile away from it, in cold weather, with a blood-drawn Quincy inches away from her; the feeling was absolutely and completely horrifying and terrible. The tears flowed as if there were two great rivers originating from her eyes, and the horrible sobbing came from the depths of her heart and her soul.
W... W-what have I done!? Hayami shouted, glenching her fists and reached for both of her Bankai blades, grabbing them, holding them firm in her hand. She looked at both of them, I did this... Zangetsu! What have i done?! she shouted, throwing her blades far from her currently location, You know me! I don't do stuff like that! Zangetsu, how could you?! she yelled at her Zanpakutou. Still on her knees, she placed her now open hands oin her thighs as she sobbed even louder, and the tears came in a relentless wave. Hayami... I know that is not how you act, as well as something you don't usually do, but i have no power over you, so i did what i could. Which was regretably nothing. Never look back, keep looking forward... Hayami heard, which she knew was Zangetsu speaking to her through their unbreakable connection, though no matter what he said, it wouldnt change the fact that she inflicted serious harm upon a innocent Quincy. Hayami knew the Quincy was innocent, as the Quincy could FEEL how much power Hayami had, and yet, the Quincy hadn't gone Final Form yet, which was obviously a sign of innocence.
Scrambling to her feet, Hayami rushed to the fallen Quincy's side, and cried on her, I am so sorry, Quincy! I'm sorry! I had absolutely no control, that wasn't me! I'll fix it, i swear i will!!! Hayami said, laying her hands out over the quincy, as her hands began to glow bright green, which had initiated Hayami's Healing Kido Mastery. Hayami could literally hear the slight whipping, and small tearing of tissues within the Quincy's wounds, and to Hayami's relief, she was actually making a rather large difference, as she could see the amount of blood decreasing, and the flow of it slowing. Yes! See?! I told you! I told you! Hayami said, tearing off the leggings of her Shinigami Robes, exposing only up to her knees. She quickly began to frantically soak up the blood from the Quincy's wounds, and to her horror, when it all vanished, was a gigantic gaping wound on the Quincies body, where her giant attack had hit. Hayami quickly initiated more healing kido, but it did absolutely nothing, not even the recombining of Tissue. NO! No !! NOOO!!! Hayami shouted, quickly slamming both of her hands on the ground, ressurrecting a small, transparent-orange barrier, protecting the two of them from the outside world.
She quickly brought her hands back to the Quincy, which began to glow green once more, It's not working! Bit i'll fix you! I'm sorry! I'm SO SO sorry! Hayami shouted, tears continuing to fall from her face.

| Ashei looked up, still sitting on the gruond, on her knees. She felt pitiful and weak. "Get up. GET UP. You can't just lie there. You make the entire Quincy race look horrible. You have to....get up...get..up.." Ashei thought to herself while she devoutly struggled to stay alive. She somewhat felt conciousness fading. A slow, tired, smile appeared on her face. Her dark brown eyes, glazed over slightly, looked at the shinigami. A warm feeling surrounded her, and despite her battle injuries, she felt somewhat content. She knew it was probably death, she didn't really mind. She knew that she was most likely just going under and into her last moments. Maybe it was a slight happiness she had died in battle, died trying. She didn't really expect to die at the age of seventeen though. What would her fellow Quincies think? Pitiful? Inexperienced? A....a failure? She thought of that one, of being a failure. She shook her head slowly, tiny tears falling from her glazed over eyes.
"I'm not a failure...." Ashei whispered out loud, though only she could hear. More thick tears fell as she touched her neck, it stinging painfully. She looked at her fingertips, covered in blood. She looked back at the shinigami woman, slightly disoriented. Hey....that hurts...And actually, shinigami woman.....it feel quite nice and warm....maybe that's what happens when you die.......One request, before you take my cross and murder me......I want a promised Soul Burial...." Ashei whispered to her, looking up at her. She was quite confused when the woman started crying, and it looked as if she had had her emotions returned to her. A small laugh sounded from her lips as she stared at the confusion on the woman's face.
"What...what's with you?...Are you just now feeling....emotions about a hald dead Quincy?" Ashei mumbled as the woman's blades hit the floor with a clattering. She cringed out the sound, but didn't even move an inch. It was as if everything had been amplified, sound, light, even the slightest touch would have Ashei in throngs of pain. She groaned loudly in pain. "Stop sobbing......I wanna be in silence when I die...silent, calm, and warm...." Ashei said as she trailed off, glazed eyes staring over at her. She kept staring at the sobbinng woman as she treid to heal her with some form of Kido. She grinned slowly. "I thought you told me huh? Don't worry.....i'll fade away soon...let's see if you can give more happiness.....then inflict pain...." Ashei mumbled slowly, before closing her eyes. She was unsure if she was dying, but she was really tired.

| Hayami gritted her teeth as she rose her hands from the fallen body of the Quincy, as her healing was doing no good at all. At this point, she was completely passed frantic, as she had no idea what she could possibly do to heal this poor tortured soul. Even though Hayami was torn to pieces by her sadness, the tears stopped flowing as she knew that if the Quincy died, a Konso would be performed, saving her from pain and suffering. Hayami walked over to the Quincy and knelt once more and placed her hand on the back of her head as tears slowly, but still, fell from her eyes. I do. I promise a Konso... I do... Hayami reassured, walking over to her fallen Bankai Blades, as her tears suddenly stopped.
Quietly, quickly and gracefully, she picked both blades up, hearing the rattling of the chains on the end of both swords as they clanked together. A konso is what you desire, then so be it. It's the least i could do... Hayami thought as she walked towards the Quincy with both of her blades in her hands, carrying them as if they were too heavy to be lifted from the ground completely. Slowly, little by little, she drug them, and drug them, creating sparks as the metal met with the cold hard Earth, and making a terrible screeching noise, which Hayami completely ignored to the best of her ability. When Hayami reached the quicky, she dropped the Black Zangetsu and held in her right hand the white Zangetsu and closed her eyes as she held the sword so that the end of the hilt was facing the Quincy's face, and slowly brought her hilt towards her forehead.
As the hilt inched there, Hayami suddenly stopped, and her eyes grew wide and she threw her bankai blade away from her, watching as it slammed into the barrier she had created and fell to the ground. I know what to do! Don't you worry, Quincy! You'll live on, i promise!! Hayami shouted, as her left arm went limp, falling to her side, and as quickly as it fell, it rose, as if pulled by strings, to Hayami's face. Black and White reiatsu formed the outline of her mask, and then Hayami pulled downwards, exposing her almost catfish-like mask, which was white, gray and blue. Her reiatsu shot up by about a third, as well as her other attributes, namely speed and strength, but those were irrelevent to the current situation. Now that Hayami was in her mask, she was sure she could fix the Quincy, and send her on her way in a matter of hours.
Hayami quickly sonido'd on her knees, next to the Quincy's side, and she held her hand at the Quincy's wounds, and her hand began to glow a mixture of black white and red, and a horrible tearing noise was heard, and a disgusting slopping noise as well. It was working! The muscle tissue began reforming, closing each of the gashes with muscle, then internally the veins and arteries reformed! It had worked, she had done it, the healing kido was actually working! The integumentary system is what took the longest to fix, as it took several minutes of disgusting slushing noises to heal up, though it was far from perfect. Everywhere where Hayami had hit with her Getsuga Tenshou was a deep red - it would surely leave a permanent scar, no matter how much more kido was used on her. Now that the job was done, Hayami smiled as she stood from her current location, bringing her left hand towards her Vizard Mask, and swiping to her left, as the mask vanished in a swift-mobing wave of red black and white reiatsu.
I hope... I hope it worked completely... Try standing, but don't strain yourself...

| Ashei's head moved from side to side on the dirt ground, trying to shake the pain out of her mind and focus on staying alive. She decided to review her wounds, thinking that maybe the appearence will take her mind of that strong stinging. She laughed as she looked down, tipping her head back to the right and laughing quietly, looking at the right arm. She looked back to woman. "Damn, your....attack....sure as hell...mangled me."Ashei said lowly, her calm voice dipping between normal and a barely audible whisper. She tried to sit up, but quickly fell back down to the ground, struggling to breathe when she noticed trying to move with a few broken ribs wouldn't help.
She stared at the woman again. "Thanks.....a Konso would be nice....and reassuring......" Ashei mumbled to herself softly. She heard a loud screeching sound and cringed at it. She noticed some sparks out of the corner of her eyes, the sparks only being dull and blurry flashs, her stupid mind certainly caused her some disallusionment. She hated that. She usually prided herself on her alertness, now it was simply blurred light and loud noises. She watched, wide-eyed, as the woman was about to hit her head with the hilt of her zanpakutou. A grin formed within the depths of her mind.
"Maybe i'll be a shinigami someday, and return to meet this woman...." Ashei whispered inside her mind, closing her eyes in her last moments while saving those final feelings of warmth that accompanied death. She opened her eyes, noticing no hilt slamming into her forehead and blinked while hearing the womans words. She nodded slowly. "Oh...that's good...thats really good..." Ashei murmured slowly. Her happiness didn't show because of her exhaustion, but it would soon. When she could talk properly without having to gasp for air, she would thank this woman.
Ashei looked at her as she pulled on a mask, and smiled. "I've met.....one of you before......Luckily, your a much more....what's the word....smarter one. You are a....Vizard, yes?" Ashei said slowly, still gasping in between words for breath. She couldn't tell what this woman was before at all, not even if her reiatsu was different from the typical shinigami. And it was nice to meet one who had a strong sense of seriousness and decency. Her face lit up with a slow grin as the woman healed her, successfully this time, as noted by the odd noises of bones reforming, mainly her ribs, skin being closed. She felt blood starting to recirculate through her body and veins, and breathed a strong sigh of relief. She nodded a "Yes" to the woman when she had asked for her to stand. Ashei did just so, standing on up slowly.
She looked down. Her shirt was torn up, scantily covering her. Her pants now looked like shredded red shorts, yet they hung in loose rags down to her lower knees. She layed her eyes upon her boots, noticing the metal had been torn off up unto her ankles. She looked up at the woman's emerald eyes and smiled before turning her gaze back to the deep red scars all around her body. There were a lot, but Ashei didn't mind. Scars didn't bother her as much as the thought of dying in the forest had. She looked back to see her boots and long plastic red coat still somewhat intact. She huffed before resuming her polite smile. "Thank you, Vizard woman. And I don't believe we have introduced ourselves properly." Ashei said before leaning her arm against a wall of earth. "Ashei Ansatsu. Leader of the Quincies." Ashei said to her, her voice regaining the strong compassion it held before Ashei neared death.
