Floral Moonlight (Private Zephy)

Felix was currently closing his shop then, he was cleaning up the places inside and outside the shop due to the rubbish made from cutting the stalks of flowers, throwing away leaves, papers and et cetra. Alas, Felix just made enough for the day’s target. He wished that he could use the money from his bank but he resisted as he wanted to put that money to more good use. He had plans for it.

The moon was high up into the sky that day, illuminating its brilliance to the land, Felix was staring at the moon then and thought back of the times where he finally felt free. He was relieved but he knew that he will never forget killing his own family and he hopes no one would find out about that.

It was a cool and quiet night in Karakura town, the cool wind blew through Zephy's hair as she sat in the park staring at the large moon. As she leant back onto the park bench she could feel the cool wood against the areas of her back that were exposed by her backless shirt. It was silent, not even a cricket made a sound. "so peaceful" she spoke lightly to herself as another breeze blew past her. Her eyes widened and she stood fast as she recognised a feeling that the breeze brought with it. Hollow A roar echoed throughout the silent night and Zephy took off in the direction both the sound and feeling were coming from.

Felix enjoyed the wind as he finally closed the door of his shop and locked it tight. He yawned a little while doing a little stretching due to his work. “Ahh a good day’s work..” Felix said before he felt the presence of a hollow. He smiled as it was time to get to training. He walked calmly towards the direction of the hollow, while being clad in a white T-shirt, a dark leather jacket, jeans and Nike shoes. Furthermore, he whistled on the way to get the mood on.

Zephy was glad she had worn her flat boots as she ran towards the Hollow's location. Her jeans were somewhat restrictive however she wasn't worried this was no more than a mere hollow, nothing she couldn't take care of even in jeans. As she turned the corner she saw the beast that would be her foe, it was standing in the middle of the street and destroying the few parked cars that remained on the street. She stopped about 100 metres from the hollow and summoned her bow. As her bow appeared so to did the glowing tattoo on her forehead."Oi! why don't you come pick on something that can kick your ass!" Zephy yelled at the hollow to draw it's attention to her, she didn't kill a foe with it's back turned to her. The hollow turned and roared before charging towards her at rapid pace.

Felix was calm and happy that somehow he manged to spot a hollow but he saw that someone beat him to it. "Darn! Who the hell took my target practice!" Felix said with much anger as he clenched his hands. "Who in the world took his kill.." He gave it some thought for the moment. "Could it be a Shinigami? Or even a Vizard? Or maybe another Quincy?" Those were just some deductions he made but he decided to use his bow to scout for the moment. He gathered spirit particles on his feet then jumped towards the top of a nearby building. Then he folded up his right arm's sleeve to reveal his Quincy Cross.

A Silvery Gemini symbol was how it looked. Felix focused his energy on his bow for a moment while smiling a little before the bow formed into a M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle. That was he bow and he got into position and using the scope he saw the battle from afar, wondering who stole his target today.

Zephy ran towards the now racing hollow as if she was to play a game of chicken with it. As the hollow swung it's arm to hit her she slid underneath her foe and turned around so as to face the hollows back. She executed a powerful kick to her foe's back causing it to stumble forward several steps. Using the backwards momentum she received from the attack she pushed off the hollow and flipped several times. On the last flip she aimed her bow in mid air, firing an arrow straight in between the hollows eyes as it turned to face it's attacker.

She landed gracefully as the hollowed screamed and disappeared, she would have put her bow away if she had not sensed someone or something watching her from not to far away. With a rapid turn she aimed and fired her bow simultaniously, sending an arrow straight towards her onlooker.

Felix saw that the person who stole his kill was a Quincy and what more surprising that it was a lady and a very hot one at that. In Felix’s mind, she was indeed quite sexy, which made Felix want to meet her more. Still Felix couldn’t shake the fact that she was watching or at least sense him as well but something surprised him the most, she shot an arrow at him.

Felix sighed for a moment but it seems the girl had some fight in her which makes him like her more. As the arrow came flying at him, he aimed a shot directly on the arrows center, once he shot one spirit bullet out, he simultaneously shot another one, giving him enough time to rush himself to the lady using his speed. As he reached the ground not far from the lady, he said only one sentence. “My my.. A feisty one.. I like..” Before he turned to see the lady Quincy in person.

As soon as her arrow was destroyed she knew that this onlooker was infact a fellow Quincy. She saw the man heading towards her with rapid speed after shooting a second shot towards her. She summoned a shield in front of her which took the hit before disappearing into black feathers. She kept her gaze forward despite the man's appearance behind her and rolled her eyes at his rather corny remark.

"really.....thats what you have to say? hmph" Zephy turned around slowly to face the strange Quincy male. Her tattoo still glowing on her forehead as she had not put her bow away just yet. She was prepared to fight this man if she had to, she trusted noone not even fellow Quincy's.

"Aha..." Felix said with curiosity as he examined the lady’s features and felt that she looked like someone he knew very well. He just couldn’t put his finger on which it was. Still he just wanted to ask the lady something. “Hmm.. You definitely look like someone I know..” Felix said as he touched his chin and in deep thought. “So what’s your name?” Felix said leisurely since it was just a fellow Quincy.

Zephy's eyes widened as she saw the man's appearance. no way.....it couldn't be She stared at him her eyes staring into his as her eyebrows furrowed. Could this be Felix? Zephy raised her bow to the quincy that looked so similar to someone she knew, her face was harsh and her gaze cold as she prepared to fire her bow. There was no way this was whom it seemed, it had to be a trick....an ability of some sort.

"What the hell are you playing at?! Get out of that form now! If you think it will stop me from killing you you are sorely mistaken" Zephy's eyebrows furrowed more as she felt rage welling withing her, How dare anyone take the form of him...how dare they use her feelings for their own protection in such a dirty way. She would make them pay for their actions.

"Woh! Woh! Wooooohhh!! Hold your horses there woman.." Felix said with one of his left hand extended outwards to make her believe he wasn’t there for the battle. He never would think that his own kind would be hostile towards him with exception of his ex-family. It seems their curse still works from beyond the grave. “I have no idea what your talking about.. I’m a Quincy just like you.. Can’t you see that?” Felix said as he lifted up his bow or you could say rifle to prove that he was a Quincy.

Zephy didn't care what this man said, he couldn't be who he seemed to be. There was no way she knew that. Her eyebrows furrowed further "if you were going to try that game you shouldn't have picked the form of someone i know isn't a quincy!!" Zephy was losing her temper and seriously considering firing her bow.

get out of that form!! how dare you use HIM!!

“What? You know me?” Felix said with an utterly surprised face but under closer inspection it seemed that lady really did know Felix. He stared at her for awhile before snapping out of his deep thought session and finally realized who she was. “Oh.. I like you even more now…” Felix said as he walked closer, dispersing his bow into spirit particles as ht Quincy Cross formed on his left hand again. “Come now.. How stupid I can be.. Hoe can I not know my own girlfriend? Isn’t that right, Zephy?” Felix said as he gave off a warm smile as he extended his arms to her for a hug. What gave Felix the clue was actually what the lady wore, it was exactly the same.

Zephy was almost at boiling point now, not only did this thing insist on staying in HIS form but now it was mocking her! And her feelings! As the man approached her she took a step back and kept her bow aimed at him.

"Get out of my head, Get the heck out of that form and stop messing with me! i wont give you another chance"

Zephy was almost at the point of becoming emotional, holding a weapon to HIM was almost unbearable but her mind kept telling her it's not him, it can't be, just fire the arrow

Felix continued forward without thinking about what consequences he would get from a direct hit from Zephy’s bow. He could die there itself but Felix has faced death so many times that meeting the grim reaper was just a usual affair. Due to his experience from training and countless battles with different kinds of hollows, he had evolved to a different level than the other Quincy’s. Heck look at his bow, it’s a freaking gun and what more interesting is that he doesn’t shoot spirit arrows, he fire spirit bullets. He kept quiet with the same warm smile, while his eyes showed only complete honesty in his words. Felix do hope that Zephy would realize that it was really him though.

The man kept walking towards her without regards for his own life, this confused Zephy even more. Was it all a plan? a trick? She should have fired her bow then and there but something kept her from doing so, something ddep down within her heart was telling her not to. The man was within footsteps from her now, his arms outstretched as if to embrace her in a hug. Her heart began to beat so fast she could have sworn it was one continuous beat. Then almost as if a sign from the heavens a breeze blew past them both carrying with it a scent, the man's scent. Her eyes widened and her bow disappeared along with the glowing tattoo on her forehead, it WAS really HIM. The scent was of fresh flowers from their work and the colognone he wore each and every day, It was really Felix.

Her eyes softened for a mere moment before the fact that the man before her was Felix and he was....a...Quincy. She slapped the hand that approached her away and stepped forward placing both her hands on his chest and pushed him back a step. "What the hell were you thinking!!!" She stepped to him once more and pushed him again. "I could have killed you!!" In her anger she stepped forward once more and shoved him back again "And you're a....a ....quincy?" Her anger was slowly subsiding into confusion as the fact that the man she had known for years, the man she had worked for for so long was in fact a fellow Quincy.

Felix gave a wider smile as Zephy’s eye widened and her bow disappeared from her hand. It seemed Zephy finally realized who he was and Felix was really happy to know that. One thing did surprise him though. she slapped his hand away, making Felix think that he did something wrong before he got his true reward, a big bear hug from her that made him move back a step. She scolded him but Felix just smiled while he was pushed back again and again. Felix then believing it was time, due to the fact that Zephy stopped talking for a moment, to put his hands on her back to return the hug. “Ya… Sorry I couldn’t tell you earlier.." Felix said with regretful tone. “I’m here now.. The true me..” He added before holding her harder and closer towards him.

As Zephy went to push him a final time she felt his arms wrap around her and pull her towards him. In shock she simply stood there with her hands on his chest pushing against the hug slightly, it was enough to keep a slight distance between them. Her heart was beating so fast she thought it had stopped all together, her breathing became irregular as her hands could feel his heart beating through his shirt. “Ya… Sorry I couldn’t tell you earlier.." His voice made her heart skip a beat, he sounded so sad and regretful. “I’m here now.. The true me..” With those words Zephy ceased her defiance and allowed Felix to pull her closer to him. She rested her forehead on his chest and relaxed. Something about his gentle yet strong arms had her feeling completely at home within them. Her mind was racing with thoughts, Felix was a Quincy? how did she never know? why did he never tell her? and the loudest thought of all..OMG am i seriously being hugged by HIM...i shouldn't be feeling this way..it's Felix"

"I suppose i can't be angry with you. I didn't tell you either" Zephy mumbled into his chest. "Why don't you seem shocked to find out i'm a quincy?"

Felix finally managed to calm Zephy down and he also managed to make Zephy to let him hug her. He smiled a little and tilted his head a little downwards to touch her cheek with his. It felt warm and full of hope. It was something Felix always wanted when he was a child but couldn’t get. He gave off a sigh while his mind thought of a few things. Maybe I should have told her earlier? But I never thought she is also a Quincy? Still I have to be strong right? A man got to do what he’s got to do.. With that, Felix kissed her softly on the cheek. “I’m sorry.. Forgive me?” Felix said with much regret but with hope that Zephy would forgive and smile back to him.

Zephy almost jumped 6 feet in the air as she felt Felix's cheek touch hers.

OMG OMG is this seriously happening....wahhhhhh what do i do?!

Her mind ran over so many thoughts in but a mere second as Felix sighed. Zephy almost burst into laughter as she suddenly remembered a sappy and cheesy romantic movie she was forced to watch with her friend, this was exactly like a scene straight of that very movie. Zephy's body jumped in response to the kiss placed on her cheek ever so tenderly by Felix. This all had to be some weird and wacky dream....didn't it? Her stomach began to feel as though a cloud of butterflies had been unleashed within it. She had no wrods....they had all been taken away by that one small peck on the cheek. Instead of speaking she nuzzled her face into Felix's large and warm chest as she felt her cheeks blush a shade of red brighter then a strawberry itself.

“Haha… Look at you..” Felix said while laughing slightly. He was indeed surprised by how Zephy was acting now, she would usually be the cold girl with a bit of the soft side but still this was something different for Felix. He then slightly moved his body and his hands to push her slightly away from his chest before grabbing her hand and taking her towards the lake in the park. Once there, he stopped and gave her a big smile before bending down to let his face on the height of hers. “Hehe.. Your all red..” Felix said while giggling a little.

Zephy heard Felix laugh and suddenly had the overwhelming urge to shove him onto his ass for doing so. Zephy reluctantly let Felix pull her along towards the lake, but she did put up some resistance becoming slightly dead weight and trudging along behind him as he lead her by the arm. Then almost as if he was enjoying the awkward moment he stopped and turned to face her witha huge big smile spreading across his face. As he leant down so that his face was almost at the height of hers Zephy felt her face blush an even brighter shade of red...if that was even possible.

OMG he is enjoying this isn't he?! Zephy felt herself getting rather enraged at the situation. First she had just found out that someone she had known for ages was a QUINCY and secondly she had just been in an awkward situation. Was she not supposed to be red? and why the heck wasn't he!! Zephy was not one to let others so close, in fact she didn't like physical proximity outside of combat at all. And so the one time she let him hug her and he teases her!! Well she was not going to let him get away with that, oh heck no. No way was she going to let him keep grinning like a cheshire cat... She furrowed her eyebrows in frustration and it was rather obvious of her frustration as her body language changed to show so.

In a sharp and unexpected motion she shoved Felix, putting her body weight behind her as she did so. Pushing him in the lake would teach him to embarass her then laugh about it.
