Personality: Zephy gives off a gentle and soft-spoken aura however lurking beneath that is quite the inferno should you provoke her. She is very slow to trust however once you have her trust it is forever. She loves animals and will never tolerate cruelty towards them. She is rather shy when it comes to physical proximity outside of combat and when it comes to matters of love. She is afraid of nothing and noone which often leads to her getting into some precarious situations, although her skills in martial arts often lead her to escaping them unharmed. She loves food, cold weather and sleeping and dislikes hot weather, spiders. In battle Zephy can come across cold and emotionless due to her lack ruthlessness.

Techniques


Name: Seele Schneiders
Description: Sword-like weapons used by the Quincy. Seele Schneiders were not created solely for the ability to cut through spirit pressure impacts. On impact, the union of spirit particles in whatever has been cut loosens. This is merely a tool which makes them easier to steal away. For a Quincy, absorbing spirit particles from the environment to strengthen one's weapon is absolutely imperative and the Seele Schneider is the strongest embodiment of this process. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw and the blade is composed entirely of reishi, which is constantly revolving around 3,000,000 times per second. Uryū also stated that using it increased his own spiritual power.

Seele Schneiders Techniques:

Name: Reishi Collection
Description: The Seele Schneider's second ability is to collect reishi during combat by absorbing the opponent's attacks. The more spiritual pressure and energy they release, the more powerful the Quincy wielding it becomes. It allows an opponent's spirit particles to become the users.

Name: Sword & Arrow Functionality
Description: Since a physical high-speed impact can be destroyed by a spiritual high-speed impact, the Seele Schneider can do more damage to someone physically strong when they physically attack, than when using a spirit-based attack. This is seen in Uryū's fight against Cirucci Sanderwicci. It mainly cuts through spirit pressure impacts. The Seele Schneider makes for a powerful blade in combat, but can do even more damage as an arrow. Fired as an arrow, it was able to defeat a former Espada in one shot, easily piercing her soul chain, removing all of her abilities. Had it been aimed higher, towards the head, it would have undoubtedly been fatal. The lethality of the Seele Schneider at full power depends, not on its power, but the arrow's trajectory.

Name: Gintō
Description: small silver cylindrical capsules that store spiritual energy in a liquid form .They are used by Quincy for spell-casting in the same way that Shinigami use Kidō. Like Kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands.

Name: Gritz
Description: This technique forms a man-sized pentagonal Quincy cross which envelops its target. It is activated by the command: "A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Quintuple Restraining Frames!"

Description: This technique uses a silver tube to create a large blast. While it may not be intended for use as such, Uryū uses it to cushion the impact of a fall. It is activated by the command: "Tilt the goblet to the west - Emerald Grail!"

Name: Sprenger
Description: This technique uses five Seele Schneiders to create a pentagon-shaped seal which, when activated, causes a massive explosion within its borders. When an object or a person stands within the middle of the Pentagon the placement of the fifth Seele Schneider can trap them by wrapping and binding their legs to the ground with dense spirit particles. The Seele Schneiders function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of spirit particles to create the explosion. The liquid inside a silver tube acts as the trigger. The preparations for the technique combined with the charging time for the Seele Schneiders make its use in battle impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall to buy time.

Name: Hirenkyaku
Description: a method in which Quincy use to travel quickly over short distances. It is basically the Quincy equivalent to the Shinigami's Shunpo, or the Arrancar's Sonído. Uryū Ishida implied that its speed is superior to Shunpo or Sonido, though Mayuri Kurotsuchi's superior speed suggests that this is just a generalization.


Platform Manifestation:
Description: Upon entering Hueco Mundo through the Garganta, Ichigo Kurosaki and Chad noticed that Uryū apparently had a platform of reishi under his feet. Ichigo and Sado had trouble controlling their reiatsu on the path they were given, while he used an instance of Hirenkyaku in order to make his own individual platform. Later on Uryū used the technique to elevate himself and Orihime Inoue through the hole Ulquiorra Cifer created in the artificial sky, and above the dome of Las Noches. He reveals that he only recently realized he could use the technique outside Garganta, and in Hueco Mundo itself, halfway to Las Noches.

Name: tandokuno sukauto
Description: Zephy summons a crow that is a manifestation of reishi. The crow can be used to fly overhead and scout warning of dangers or guiding her way. The crow would last until she called it back or until destroyed. Upon contact with an enemy the crow explodes. (sort of like a bomb) the blast would be small due to the birds size and probably as strong as a cero.

Name: ten kinchou
Description: Zephy must say the following "swarm our foes ten kenchou" to iniate the ability. She summons 10 crows which upon contact with her foe will individually explode with the power of a cero (per bird)
Cooldown: 4 posts (high due to the power of the attack)

Name: shi-rudo ankoku
Description: Zephy summons a shield that can protect or an ally from an attack. Depending on the power of the attack it blocks the cooldown period differs.
Cooldown: (blocks low strength attack: 1 post) (blocks mid strength attack: 2 posts) (blocks high strength attack: 3 posts) (blocks any attack above those: 6 posts) the high cooldown periods balance the strength of the shield.

Name: Kantsuu
Description: Zephy fires an arrow and upon saying "kantsu" the arrow then turns into the form of a crow and locks onto her target. The blast is also stronger than a normal arrow having the power of a cero.

History and RP Sample

History:

Zephy was raised by a single mother with her father having left when she was 2 years old. This has caused some trust issues with men that she still suffers with to this day. Her childhood was relatively normal with having been raised in a small home in a quiet neighbourhood. During her school years Zephy studied Archery, gymnastics and martial arts. She is adept at archery and was actually tha captain of the team in her highschool years. Her gymnastics training has given her great flexibility and agility while her many years of martial arts has given her strength and skills. Zephy made few friends in school due to her cold and distant personality. She was also an over-achiever which did not help her popularity.

Zephy taught martial arts until a few years ago at a small dojo, however the dojo was closed down due to money problems. It was then that she met Felix whom worked at the florist's across the road from her former dojo. She became employed there part-time while she studies to become a veterinary nurse. She is currently employed by Felix and unaware of his Quincy heritage as is he to hers.

Illuminated by no more than moonlight the ground beneath her feet was barely visible. The cool winds blew through her hair carrying with them the scent of the earlier rainfall. It had been a long time since she had been in the area, but now she was to be calling it home once more; The Seretei. All was quiet on the streets, none wanted to venture out so late in such weather without a viable need. The surrounding structures had not changed greatly, only small differences were noteable. Crickets soon joined the wind's gentle howl, creating the night's soundtrack. Memories flashed by in her mind inspired by the familiar scents and sights surrounding her. So many memories, each conjuring their own emotion. Emotions.......such useless things or so she had come to believe.

A flash in the sky drew her attention to it, a falling star made it's way across the star filled sky. She stood quite as she watched it wondering to herself, if she believed in the power of wishing upon such an object what would she wish for?


Sample 2:
It seemed as if the weather was taunting her, such miserable weather for a day of importance. The sky flashed with lightning as the storm above unleashed it's rage upon those it saw as no more than ants below it. The cold rain that fell from the darn and menacing clouds above pooling in the shallow indents of the pavement that was the path she walked. As the water dripped from her hair and face Lightning wondered whether it could be as sign of the event to soon follow. As she approached the building that was her destination she breathed a sigh of relief, finally she would be out of the rain and wind. The sky echoed with the whip like crack of thunder as she reached for the door, she felt Zetsu-maru react to the sound. Still excited by storms aren't you To her Zetsu-maru was like a puppy and always would be despite his size.

Due to the large size of the coat she was wearing Lightning had to wiggle her hand through the sleeve so it could be seen and able to open the door. She had borrowed the coat from a much larger member of the Royal Guard upon leaving for the Seretei. It may not have fit ideally however it's waterproof characteristics had shielded her from the drenching capabilities of the rain. Her head and hair however.....well they were soaked just like the earth around her. Pulling the door open She stepped into the room closing the door behind her. Instantly she removed the coat that had protected her on her venture and hung it on the coat stand next to her. The room's air was warm and comforting, almost as if she was standing in the sun on a bright day. The cold droplets of rain falling from her hair onto her body gave her goosebumps now there was no coat to take the temperature away.

She readied herself to take in what was the office she would share with her captain now, she didn't know what to expect as she turned around.
