Event:: Shinigami Party!

[So I thought it would be cool to make an event for all the shinigami. And what's better than a party? Shinigami only.]

It was a beautiful night. That was the only way to describe it. Stars shone brightly in the cloudless sky, and a soft breeze blew through Seiretei. At the edge of Seiretei, far from the divisions, was a large, beautiful park, next to a crystal lake. This was one of the nicest places in Seiretei, so it was a place where parties were held frequently. Like tonight. Tonight a large table had been set up in the park, loaded with food. Smaller round tables were scattered around the park, with delicate tablecloths on them. There was a wide space in the middle of the tables for dancing, and the park was lit up by the moon and a few candles. Soft, romantic music drifted across the park, coming from a stereo set up in the back.

Recently Shuuhei Hisagi had resigned from his job as a lieutenant, wanting some time to have fun and not be worried about paperwork and duties all the time. He had had to done so much since Tousen had left, it was wearing him out very quickly. He used to have no free time whatsoever. But everything was different now. Shuuhei had gotten word that a partly was going on in the park tonight, and he had wasted no time in getting ready. There hadn't been a party for so long. There hadn't been time. The shinigami had all been busy fighting against Aizen, and even when he was killed there was so much to repair. Not anymore though. Those days of hardship were over, at least for now, and it was time to have some fun!

Dressed in black jeans, a tailored white shirt, and a black tie that he had picked up on his last visit to the human world, Shuuhei walked into the park looking presentable yet carefree. He stood there for a minute, just admiring the candles, listening to the soft, sweet music play.

When was the last time she attended a party? It felt like ages. I don't believe I've been to a party since Kai died...feh, he probably wouldn't want me to be thinking about depressing things while I'm going to a party Emiko was thinking to herself as she walked through the Seireitei. She heard that it was taking place in one of the nicer areas of the Seireitei; a large park, near a crystal lake. It was rather far away from the divisions though, which was making her rethink about going to it; her feet were already complaining. However, she reminded herself that she had already gone so far already, and that going back would just take away more of her energy. Since I became the lieutenant...it seems like I've been getting weaker in day to day activities. Probably just the exhaustion the job gives you she told herself.

She was a tad caught up in her thoughts, so she was surprised when she found herself at the party's site already; she soon spotted another shinigami, although he wasn't in any division anymore. She spotted what he was wearing and couldn't help but frown; were they supposed to dress up all fancy? Emiko didn't much like dresses, and would prefer to stay in her uniform most of the time, but she knew that doing such would be rude. Being in uniform at a party also told people that you were busy with work all the time, and she didn't want to give that impression. So, she managed to find some human clothes that she had gotten a while back; they were rather simple, really. Just blue jeans, a long-sleeved shirt, and sneakers; fairly casual, but she believed this was going to be a casual party.

She walked towards the former lieutenant and stopped in front of him; she noticed that, compared to him, she was rather diminutive. "Was there supposed to be some sort of dress code?" was the first question she asked, after deciding this man was the person in charge of the party. It was a fairly logical assumption, since he was the only one there at the moment.

Rangiku walked, proud and excited, through the Seireitai. In one hand, she carried a purse with some items. The other attempted to smooth her hair down before she arrived to the party. She drifted to it slowly. She was wearing dark skinny blue jeans, as the humans called them. She wore a tight blue top with silver streaks down. It had a low V center, showing off her cleavage. She wore bright red high heels with two tight bracelets on her wrists. They were checkered red and black. Her hair was wild, yet still looked awesome. She smiled at Shuuhei Hisagi and Emiko Nasutora, too good friends of hers. She looked around the small park pavilion and smiled. It was very beautiful. She cringed when she heard the soft romantic music playing in a stereo, most likely brought from the human world. She took out a tape with some music and slipped it in. Dance music blared thorugh the speakers as she turned around to face Emiko and Shuuhei. "Awesome isn't it?!" Rangiku yelled over the music.

Hisashi walked into the room with intense delight on his face, looking at the decorations and and snacks and drinks. Despite his lazy and boring attitude, he was really excited for this party. He was dressed in a black jacket, which covered up a red, collared shirt, topped off with a tie. His glasses slightly covered his vision, but he was ok because if the flashing lights. Hisashi walked over to the group of people and waved at them. "Hey Emiko" Hisashi yelled over the music. He then nodded to the other shinigami who he did not know.

Shuuhei yawned and turned from the candles to gaze out at the water, wondering when everyone was going to start showing up. Maybe no one would. Maybe he was wasting a perfectly good night here when he could have been out drinking with his friends. Shuuhei let out a sigh, wondering if he should leave.

Suddenly there came a female voice, startling him out of his thoughts. He turned away from the water and saw Emiko Nasatora, the 3rd division lieutenant, standing there. Kira's lieutenant, he thought immediately, offering her a smile. "Nah, no dress code," he replied, studying her outfit. It seemed she was wearing clothes from the human world as well. "What you've got on looks fine," he told her.

Shuuhei turned as he heard someone walk up behind him, and smiled at the figure standing there. "Yo Matsumoto. You look great," he told her, nodding approvingly at her outfit. She really did look very beautiful. At one time Shuuhei had a crush on her... or maybe just thought he had a crush on her, before he got into Kira. But still he certainly couldn't deny that she looked quite hot.

"Finally people are starting to show up," he observed, nodding to a man he didn't know. Shuuhei smirked and looked around once more. He had no thoughts of leaving now. This was going to be a great night.

Rangiku, another lieutenant, had shown up; Emiko didn't know why, but she wasn't particularly a fan of the woman. Some might say it was because she was envious of Rangiku, but truth be told, she wasn't; no, she didn't like the woman mostly because how she acted sometimes. "The music? I think it's a bit better than what Shuuhei here brought in," Emiko was making a rare joke and allowing herself to relax, for once. That was when a fourth lieutenant entered the scene, and she began to wonder if it was some kind of special party for lieutenants only. Then again, the captains probably wouldn't want to attend something like a party, what with the events that had occurred recently. "Nice to see you again, Hiashi," she said to the lieutenant she knew, offering him a smile before looking towards Suuhei. "So...um, what exactly does one do at a party?" Emiko asked the male, a tad embarrassed; it had been more than a hundred years since she had last been at a party, after all.
