The return of a Warrior

The sandswept dunes of Hueco Mundo lied silent in the night. The full moon stood high above the sands and everything was quiet. A few random hollows stood against the moonlight and devoured an unfortunate fellow, who had been too bold and tried to play with teh fire amongst the big boys.
A calm, lean finger slowly rose, pointing at the fighting hollows. A seablue ball of pure energy gathered at the tip, then fired a Cero of tremandous power towards the bullies. The hollow rose their heads towards the surge of energy and started to run, but too late. The beam hit the back of one of the bigger hollows, and a vast explosion filled the dessert with noise. Far away, leaned up against a dune, sitting with his eyes hidden in his seablue hair, Kaimei smiled a grim smile.

It had been almost 2 months since his master had dissapeared and left him, his Fraccion Kaimei, by himself. It had suited him well. Kaimei had gotten the power he wanted from Kyouga, and now he was gone. Kaimei doubted that the powerful, former Primera Espada would ever return. And now, after 2 months of wandering and training in the desert, devouring Adjucha after Adjucha, even a few unfortunate Arrancar, after days of training, he was now ready. Ready to return. Ready to take his rightfull place, as the new head of the Espada.

He slowly rised and grabbed his sword, then started walking. Watch out Las Noches. Im comming back.

Kaimeis smile stiffened, though he kept moving forward. He had felt it right away, from when the rift opened from the real world til it opened and a figure landed on the pale sands of the moonlit dessert. What was this person? It was a form of Reiatsu that Kaimei seldom felt... Human? No, it couldnt be. This one was much... Colder. Somehow unnatural. Nevermind. He was following him, and Kaimei was eager to try his new powers, to give a taste of what his own training had done to him. He wanted challenge. All he could do was to hope that this creature would be enough.

Strapping his No-dachi to his back as he used to, he kept walking, looking only towards the great fortress known as Hueco Mundo. Slowly, his right index finger rose, putting it under his left arm, pointing backwards towards the person who was stalking him. A blue light slowly appeared. Kaimeis smile grew grim.

"Cero..."

With extreme speed and power, the beam shot from Kaimeis fingertip towards the approaching figure. The beam had the same color as his hair and was thick as a pillar of a great chathedral. A first test, to see if this person was even worth bothering with.

Kaimei watched the figure descent in front of him with a smile and his arms crossed over his chest. Very well, he had actually diverged the most of his Cero. But he had seen the little part that actually broke through, even though it did not seem to bother the man whatsoever. Nevermind. Kaimei kept smiling and nodded at the figure, raising his hands a little higher so that the crossed-out 3 that was tattoed on the lower left side of his abbs came out of the shadows. It looked like something had burned a great X over the still very visible number.

"A pleasure. Your defense is not half bad either. I am Kaimei."

He looked the figure over with a raised brow. What was this person, exactly? His flesh seemed so pale, alsmost... Dead. Was it dead? Was this person dead? No that couldnt be. He had to be something different, something that Kaimei had no interest in right now. Right now, he thickend his spiritual preasure, ready for a fight anytime.

"What brings you to this very godforsaken world? I see that you are not a hollow, which means that you must have some other buissnes in this world other than thrashing about, devouiring hollow. Are you simply following me out of boredom?"

Kaimei looked down on the kneeling human, his eyebrow raised. Gathering power? What was this? Another one of those scams that some powerhungry freaks tried to pull? Was this person going to fuck something up in his inner world> Or was he just a crazy bastard> Kaimei had never haerd about someone gaining power from being in someone elses inner world, but the thought intruigued him. What was going to happen if he let him? Only one way to fibd out.

Kaimei placed his hand on his cheek, smiling, bending over the humna, examening him.

"Now now, what should I choose... Should I let this total stranger go into my inner world, my innermost sanctum amd take a peak? By the sound of it, right now that would sound... Dangerous, wouldnt it? Now, I am, however intriugued, and to that, a very generous man. So how about this..."

Kaimei put his face right in front of Urufu`s, placing his right hand on the hilt of his giant sword that hung on his back.

"If you are able to breach my Hierro, just but one time, I will give you 4 seconds iin my inner world. No more, no less. How does that sound?"

Kaimeis smile grew even grimmer.

Kaimeis grin grew even wider as the human transformed, his eyes slightly covered in his seablue hair. As the transformation ended, Kaimei let go of his sword, letting hgis arms go limb, haning them by his sides.

"Very well done..."

The sands swept around his feet as he looked down into the earth, so small compared to the giant wolf. How could a person so small ever have a change against something this grand? Unless of course, they had been training for situations just like this. If thier powers had increased, and　they had. Kaimei was no normal Espada. He was the Espada of the shield, he was the immovable object, the unstopable force.

The razor-sharp teeth slashed towards him with a so far unheard force. Slowly, as the sudden balck death came flying against him, Kaimei raised his arm, straight up into the air against the teeth. Then he opened his hand.

The power of the blow that crashed down on the former Espada send sand flying everywhere, Black reiatsu flowed everywhere as the dust slowly started to settle. Nothing could be left after this blow...

Only, something was left. Kaimei had grapped the tooth, stooped it in its tracks and held it from his body. It had forced him almost to his knees, so powerfull was it, but his hierro was still not broken, his grin still waged on his face. Slowly, he raised his free, left hand and pointed his index-finger into the black pit that was the monster wolfes mouth. A cyan ligth shone from his finger.

"Gran Rey... Cero."

As the blast left Kaimeis finger, the wind from it blew away Kaimeis hair from his face, revealing a pair of mourderous, almost psycotic cyan eyes. His smile could not get any larger.

Kaimie nodded, clearly impressed.

"Not a bad manouver, even though I consider doding a blow a bit... Coawardly. But maybe thats just my style."

On his inner radar, he had already sensed what was going on behind him. Now what exactly was this human doing? Whatever it was, he seemed morepowerful than Kaimei had first taken jhim for. Now was not the time to play games. That thing Urufu had created might even had the potential of actually making his Hierro crack, if only in the slightest. He was not abut to loose thier "bet" so fast, that would just be ridiculous. He was the comming Cero Espada, he could not be bother by being defeated by feeble humans, no matter how strange and exotic their powers were.

Tigthening his grip around the tooth, he now grapped it with his other hand also, releasing his spritual preasure. The cyan energy flowed from his body as he flexed his muscles. Then,. he started to throw the beast over his own head, simply crashing the monster in the path of his own attack by throwing him. He was heavy, but Kaimei had the strength of a thousand hollows in his right arm alone. He had to be quick,

Kaimeis grin turned savage, annoyed. This he had not expected. This shape-shifting thing was already starting to annoy him a bit. Never mind though. He only forced him to take tghe next step into the fight.

As the giant teeth he had been holding before dissapread, Kaimei reached to his back, grapped the hilt of his giant No-dachi and drew it with ligthning speed. Then, he put it in harms way, blocking the attack directly, being pushed back thorugh the sands as a result. He bit his tteth togeather, tightening his grip on the hilt.

"You are starting to annoy me a bit. What exactly ARE you? Is this the demon-thing?"

In an attepmt to break free, he thrusted the sword forward, trying to gain some distane between them by jumping backwards into another dune, once again readying himself.

Kaimei nodded at Urufu with a serious look on his face. Then the earth he stood on begun to crumble. He was not late to react, as soon as the first crack reached his feet, he lifted off from the ground, jumping into the air. He looked for his opponent who came swining at him with a sword that... Resembled Kame? Kaimei smiled a grim smile. This human was really in over his head.

"Power beyond my wildest imagination you say? Now where was it I heard that before..?"

Kaimei started laughing as the slashes hailed over his small body like rain, but not a scratch appeared on him. Following the blade with his eyes, he finally reached out his hand and grapped the sword tight, now holding the blade in his hand. he pulled Urufu closer to him, then raised his own sword and slashed down with his own No-dachi with extreme power.

"First off, no matter how you look at it, it is only those few who are trained in the arts that really knows how to use a blade as huge as a No-dachi. Second, slashing like that will get you nowhere. Where did that demon-spirit go?!"

As an inferno of squish, blood and gore raised before Kaimeis face, he raised and eyebrow. What the hell was this dude? Could he just split himself like that any time he wanted? That was indeed annoying. He had to finish him off by simply disintigrating him somehow. But no time to think about that now. Kaimei was about to slash once more, when he felt the change. Something was seriously happening witht his guy, something that felt... Familiar?

What?!

Kaimeis eyes widened as the change took form before his eyes and quickly jumped backwards, standing in a new figthing position, clearly more serious than before. What was this?! This guys reiatsu had just changed into something much more dangerous than before, the Reiatsu of a Vizard. What the hell was happening? This demon was some serious shit. If this was what happened to this guy if he entered Kaimeis mind... Suddenly, Kaimei had no wish at all for this guy to enter his inner world. This creature would become far too dangerous. More dangerous than any hollow, Shinigami, Vizard og Arrancar. The things stood clear now.

This creature could not be allowed to survive.

Well, at least it could not be allowed to abosrb the powers of an Arrancar also. Kaimei knew what he had to do.
standing clear, Kaimei took a pose of a hero against the shinig moonlight, looking at the strange creature with serious, cyan eyes.

"So you really werent kidding about your powers. Well, my good sir, the deal is off. I am sorry to break my word, but I realize, that I have been a fool. Something as powerfull as a creature with the range of all the races powers... That I cannot allow."

Pointing the tip of his almost 2 meters long sword at Urufu, a cyan ball of energy formed at the tip of it. It was time to try his new techniques on a serious enemy.

"I am sorry to do this. Armada... de Bala."

Around him, smalls balls of cyan energy started to flow, all of them slightly in front of him, all of them glowing like stars. They were like a wall in front of him. And then, Balas started to fly from them. This was a true barage, there were hundreds now, soon, there would be thousands. And they all flew towards Urufu.

Kaimei realized that this would do only minor harm, if anyu at all, to a creature of this powerlevel, but he needed the time it would buy him. he needed time to figure out how to best beat this enemy, or, how to best dissapear if he proved to be no match for him. He still had a lot of aces up his sleave though, ans he was still on almost full power. This game had suddenly turned into real seriousnes.

Kaimei realized, that this was a problem. And a nasty one to booth.

Kaimeis eyes widened in fear as he realized that he had just, almost at least, doomed himself. This creature was not to be underestimated. He needed every last shred of his cunning to overcome this guy. But right now, he needed a way to not get chaught in the technique that he was sure was about to come. He had no choice, his speed would not allow him to dogde the attacks, not even the ones he had made himself. He had to do something. He had an idea. It was not the best, but it would save him from the most severe attack, which he thought was Urufus.

Concentration the Balla`s around him, he instead sent a single, powerful Cero beam into the garganta. Moving the angle of the tip of his sword, he closed his eyes and anticipated the pain.

A giant flash of energy surged thorugh the rift in time and space as the Cero flew and hit Kaimeis shoulder. The explosin was blinding and the blast was extreme, as Kaimei now disapeared from his former position into an unkown place as he surpressed his Reiatsu.

Somwhere in the dunes, Kaimei sighed and touched his shoulder. Not a severe wound at all, but he had actually inflicted some damage on himself. He did not realise how powerful his attacks had become. Never mind. This was no time to be self-recognizing. He had clearly underestimated his enemy. And he did not wish his life over a mistake like that. It was time to get heavy.

Waiting as long as he dared, he then stood up, looking at his opponent, once again revealing himself and releasing his spiritual preasure. He had been thrown quite a long distance, and his clearly looked like he had been hurt, but he had gained enough time to get himself to the next level. He nooded at Urufu.

"Well played sir, well played indeed. I thought I was a gonner there. But the fight will end soon, one way or another. Be ready."

Kaimei spread his arms.

"Tate, Kame!"

Water began sprining from the dunes around Kaimei, completely submerging him in water. Inside the stream, it was visible that Kame turned into plates of white and cyan armor, that now began to cover Kaimeis body from underneeth his feet to his mouth and his eyes, everywhere was plated as he once again reapeared, resurected. He found his battleposition, looking in the eyes of his enemy.

"Shall we begin?"

Kaimei had expected something like this. His enemy was, after all, a jack^of^all^trades. A shapeshifting pupeteer who had opened Gargantas in an instant, quick as the wind... Well, now there would be no escape. For neither of them.

Already in the instant that he resurected to his original form, Kaimei had begun charging. It had been all but invisible, undetectable... And now, he was ready. The largest blast he had made ever. Compared to his fight with Kyouga those months ago, this Cero would be a monster. And it would be a monster that he was about to unleash on this poor, poor human.

He had seen them coming form a distance, the Menos, and now, they were all charging Ceros at him. This could not be the plan of his opponent though, that was not possible. And as expected, the Ceros now hailed at him from above. Kaimei raised his head. Did he feel something... Different? No matter. It was time to get serious, secret attack or not.

Bending his head backwards, the black ball of obscure, evil energy now revealed itself over Kaimeis mouth, shredded in a dark, cyan light. Kaimeis eyes were deteremened, then they opened wide with determination as he spread out his arms.

"Cero... OSCURA!!!"

Utilizing all that he had learned, all the power that he possesed, the beam of dark energy left his mouth with devastating force as he screamed these words. It spread out like a black blanket over him, widened quickly, and soon covered the area that the Cero`s fired at him would hit. The shockwave from firing the beam alone send sand and water flying everywhere, leaving Kaimei in a huge crater of sand, still firing his intese energy of pure destruction. The sound would break the eardrums of anyone in the vicinity, had there been any to observe this battle of giants. This was truely Kaimeis most destructive and most powerful technique.

This was theugly side of life in Hueco Mundo. And sometimes, it had to be shown. Now the question remained: Who were stronger?

Urufu Tatsumaki

"That's enough." The cero oscuras had split through his lightning, engulfing his body in a massive blast of chaotic energy. The cell's disintigrated, leaving not even ash in the quake of destruction. As soon as he felt the cero firing, he knew he had no choice. He had abandoned his body and possessed that of a menos, reshaping it so it was his Vizard Knight. Sonido-ing behind Kaimei, he placed his hand on the creature's shoulder. "That's enough." He repeated, powering down into his human form. "I only wanted a new form. I have no wish to harm you. I will go look somewhere else." He responded calmly, before he turned and began walking away. His feet slid in the crystal sand as the dust and crystals gritted inside of his eyes, though he didn't care. He had terminated the body's life functions earlier. It was now just a corpse, same as his original one.

Sighing, he wondered how he was going to achieve his new form now?

A hooded figure appeared at the edge of the landscape.
Tomix had noticed the clashing powers, and had prepared to intervene. His long brown overcoat flapped in the breeze, a serious expresion on his face.
"Kaimei...You at last come back, and now..." He whispered to himself.
Using Sonido, he appeared in front of Kaimei.
"Kaimei! You're finally back! Though..from what I can tell...You're not on our side..."

Kaimei sighed as the figure he had fought disappeared into the distance. Then he fell to his one knee, feeling the surge of sudden weakness that came over him. Slowly coming to his feet again, he looked over his shoulder as he sensed another Arrancar in the vicinity, a person he knew. Then Tomix appeared in front of him. Sighing again, he looked him in the eyes as his armor started disintegrating, becoming his Zanpaktou once more. It stood in the sand besides him as the transformation was complete, then he smiled at Tomix.

"Tomix old friend... Good to see you again."

He then grabbed his sword and looked into the distance for a second. That Cero Oscura had really taken its toll on him. He had even felt it connect with the humans body... He even felt it destroy it completely. Then how could he still be alive, walking like that? A mystery that was... And one with no answer right now. Now he had to explain itself to Tomix.

"Here is how it is Tomix..." Kaimei sat down and gave Tomix a sign to do the same. He leaned himself against his sword. "After Kyouga disappeared from our group, I no longer had any ties. I had no master, no goal but my own original ones. So I went into the dessert to train myself, to be ready for the things that are about to come and... Here I am, returning to the Espada. To be honest, I dont think that there were any future in our old fraction to begin with. Our numbers were few, our leader was, rest his soul... Not too good. In fact, I believe that there are much more of a future to be had with the Espada. So, here I am, returning. What are you doing out here my friend?"

Kaimei knew that he had to tread very carefully right now. Even though he knew that he was many times stronger than Tomix, at this state, it would not matter. The fight would be short and Tomix would be the victor. He could only hope now that he could persuade Tomix to see things from his perspective.

"Kaimei...Well, I was in the desert...searching for hollows for my new experiment...I created my own Arrancar...his name is Sloth."
Tomix listened to Kaimei's words, a hole forming in his stomach. Kaimei was going to return to the Espada!
"Kaimei...You never knew why I joined Korosu...I did it...To Destroy The Espada!" Tomix was smiling now.
"You can't beat me in this state. So I have a simple word for you: Run. Run and go to your Espada, so I can come and my creation will destroy you!"
