Paperwork Break!?[Hisagi San]{m}

For the past few days the paper work had gotten pretty big on the blond captain's desk. So, much that he had arranged a small box in the corner to put the finished ones. That way he could avoid getting it confused with the unfinished ones. Kira let get a small sigh as he started down at the piece of paper front of him. He then looked at the stack to his right on the desk and tried to remember when it was due. The first thing that he came into his head was next week. Hoping that was true he deiced that he would just do the one that he had in front of him at the moment. Because he thoughts were beginning to get plagued with thoughts of paper work. Which was making his sleepy and he needed something to clear his head.

After sighing once more he wrote: New hollow discovered in human world. It has three horns that it can shoot and regenerate at high speeds. After writing the word speeds he stood up from his chair and walked over to the box he had in the corner near his desk. Inside the box he had the papers set up in stacks of where they were going. Making a face at all the paper work in the box he wondered how he was going to carry all this later. The blond then bent over slightly and began to read the top sheets of paper on each stack. So, he could find which stack was the paperwork that was to go squad 12. After finding it he adjusted the stack a little and placed the new sheet on top.

Paperwork. Ah, paperwork. It wasn't something Shuuhei liked much, though he knew he must do it. He wouldn't be lazy like some lieutenants who made their captains do all the work. No, he would be a good little lieutenant and help... most of the time. Now was not a good time for paperwork. It was a beautiful night, cool but not cold, and Shuuhei longed to be outside instead of cooped up in his office with a pile of papers. Discipline, he reminded himself, gritting his teeth and forcing himself to scan the first paper. It was some nonsense about how much the division was costing. Normally Shuuhei would try his best to fill this out, but he couldn't keep his eyes from the window. Renji, Kira, and the rest of his friends were all probably out partying now! Or at least not doing what he was. Once more he tried to focus on his papers, but he just couldn't. Finally he gave up and put his pen down, promising himself he would finish this first thing tomorrow.

The lieutenant got up and stretched, eager to get out of the stuffy office. He put his papers away quickly, not paying any attention to whether they were neat or not, and stepped out the door. Shuuhei smiled as the cool breeze hit him, and he stood there for a moment, wondering what to do. Finally he decided he would go to first Kira's office then Renji's, in an attempt to find his friends. He walked along slowly, enjoying the cool air and waving to a few passing shinigami. After a minute he reached Kira's office, and knocked softly on the door before opening it and peaking in. To his delight, Kira was there. "You have paperwork too?" the lieutenant observed, walking into the room so he was standing behind Kira.

Letting go a small sigh the blond put the cover on the box to keep them neat. As he did so footsteps could be heard coming up the hallway. As the blond the stood up the hallway the footsteps stopped. Kira made a face at the wall slightly and hoped it wasn’t more paper work coming to haunt his dreams. The blond deiced to stare at the wall inside of turning around. Just to pro long the annoyed feeling if it was someone with paper for him to do. Closing his eyes briefly he heard the door creak open after there was a knock. he was about to say come in when heard the knock , but it wasn’t really needed now. Seeing that the person had already walked in without waiting for him to speak and tell them to come in.

This came some relief to Kira and so did the familiar voice asking him if he had paperwork too. That familiar voice belonged to his long time friend Shuhei Hisagi. Which he usually called Shuhei or Hisagi San. Judging by the brunettes tone and the questions it self the blond knew the vice captain had no paper work for him. So , the blond turned to looked at the other boy who was now standing behind him instead of near the door or at his desk. " Such as life for a captain Hisagi San." He told the boy with a small sigh after speaking. " I’m guess you’ve had alot that’s got you down too." The blond said in a bored tone making a guess still based on the brunette vice captain's question to him upon entering the room.

Shuuhei smiled at Kira's words and walked farther into the room, shutting the door behind him. "Yeah, I've had a lot of paperwork," he said, smiling slightly. He didn't seem to be that annoyed by the fact. After all, he was used to paperwork. He had had to do a lot when he was serving under Tousen, since the man was blind. He looked over at the pile of papers on Kira's desk and chuckled. "Seems like you're a little overloaded," he commented, walking forward until he was standing next to the desk. "Y'know, the papers can wait. Even though you're a captain doesn't mean you have to be working every single minute. If you keep this up, you may turn up like Kuchiki Taicho or Soifon Taicho. And ya wouldn't want that." Shuuhei faked a shiver. "You should be able to have some fun too."

The lieutenant took the paper Kira was writing on, making sure not to smudge the ink, and put it and the other papers on top of a set of draws. With the desk now free of papers, Shuuhei hopped unto it and sat, looking down at Kira. "Renji and everyone are probably out drinking and having the time of their lives, not sitting around in offices doing paperwork. I don't think you should do any either. There's always time tomorrow." Shuuhei gave Kira a grin, hoping his friend wasn't too mad that he took the papers away.

Walking closer to his desk he heard the door shut as the brunette walked further into the room. next the brunette answered his question about the paper work issue. And told him that he had alot of paperwork also. Next he commented that the blond seemed to be overloaded with the stuff. Kira looked to his desk with annoyed expression on his desk and nodded slightly in response. As soon as the brunette vice captain was at his desk he continued talking about the paper work or deal. And told him that he didn’t need to work on paper work ever second. He also added that he would end up like soifan taichou or byakuya if he did. Finally he added that he probably wouldn’t want something like that.

His friend was right he didn’t want to end up like that, but he knew the paper work had to be done. The Fukutaichou then added that he needed to have someone. Once again he was right , besides the blond had gotten all the paperwork that was due in the next few days done. The only ones left was the ones that were due in the next couple of week or later. So, he defiantly had some time to go and take a break. The brunette then took one of the papers he was holding and looked at it before putting it with the others. Kira blinked at him a couples times but, got over it as the brunette talked about what others were doing. " Yeah , Your right , We should get away from this paperwork.” he told the brunette with a small bored sigh.
