| Of all days to be on patrol, this had to be the worst. It had started raining late last night, and hadn't stopped since. The dirt had turned to mud, and the streets were covered with broken tree branches, sticks, and all kinds of muck from the storm. To make madders even worse, the wind was blowing pretty hard, so debris was flying all over, and it was pretty hard to see where you were going. The temperature had dropped a considerable amount; it was now cold enough to see your breath. Most Rukongai residents were in their homes, warm and dry. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for Soifon, 2nd division captain.
Soifon had gotten word early this morning that it was her turn to patrol Rukongai, making sure everything was okay during the storm, and keeping the peace. Of course she hadn't complained. She had said "of course" and went to Rukongai as quickly as possible to start her job. That was just Soifon's way. No matter how much she didn't want to do this (and she really didn't want to do it), she wouldn't complain. After all, for the Soul Society to function well, everyone must do their part. And as a captain she had more reposnsibility than most, and had to remember her duty. The captains set an example for the rest of the Soul Society. If the captains complained and ignored their duties, not only would the Soul Society be a mess, the other lower ranked shinigami would think it was all right to ignore their duties as well, and what where would that leave the Soul Society?! No, Soifon was a good captain, and therefore she was out in the rain and wind, getting mud all over her clothes, and patrolling Rukongai. No, she wasn't complaining. At least not out loud.
Slowly, the petite captain walked down the streets, glancing about her and squinting, trying to see through the dirt and debris flying all around. The storm had really messed Rukongai up, she noted, frowning at a large piece of wood that had somehow gotten stuck in a tree. Luckily, it wasn't up to her to clean everything up, just to report back to the head captain what she's found. A team of cleaners would be sent over later to clean and repair everything. Why they needed to, she didn't know. Why couldn't the Rukongai residents do it? Because they're selfish, rotten, vile creatures, she told herself, shaking her head. Soifon hated the people of Rukongai. In her opinion, such people were a disgrace to the Soul Society. They shouldn't be let in! They should just be reborn as humans. Let the human world deal with them!
Soifon sighed, and kicked what looked to be part of a door out of her way as she turned a corner. Her hands, which felt like ice, were clenched in tight fists in an attempt to keep them warm. Her short hair was ruffled even more than usual, and there was a streak of mud on her face. She could only imagine what she must look like. What if Yoruichi saw her like this?! What would she think? She'd probably laugh, Soifon thought bitterly, glaring into the wind. Soifon had forgiven Yoruichi for leaving the Soul Society, and tried to spend as much time with her as possible. It was so good to have her around again, but she constantly was worrying about what her mentor would think. It wasn't good to be so obsessed with someone, but Soifon found it impossible to forget her, and always tried her best to make Yoruichi proud.

| Karel appeared as a doors appeared through walls and other objects allowing her a straight line walk to go where she pleased. Karel was a captain that few people associated with, as she was normally training, or goofing off with Ex-Espada and the like. She seemed to be hiding things, but when anyone asked she avoided those questions entirely. Karel always completed her paperwork early by drawing up clones to split her work easily and making life all around easier on her. Karel seemed carefree from what the normal captains were like.
She had white hair and her robes were torn and tattered showing she had been in quite a few fights. She however had perfect skin smooth as a peach, but pale as a bed sheet. her eyes were silver and she was well endowed as a woman. She had good curves, but she was short at about 4'5". She always seemed to be in shikai and maintained it very easily and was often seen talking to her Zanpaktou spirit. But today she had not her spirit out, and she seemed to just be wandering aimlessly.

| Telma smiled brightly at the weather. It looked like total chaos. Cold and windy and rainy. Telma's favorite type of weather. Telma ran back to her own room thorugh the rain. As she had expected, her waterproof jscket, sweater, gloves, earmuffs, and even a thick jacket she had bought from the Human World sat dry and warm. She slipped on everything and grabbed a tiny pink bag with another waterproof sweater and things. She quietly slipped out the door running through the Seireitai. She was quite a sight. 6'8", wearing bright multicolored clothing, her feet kicking at rain and mud. The gatekeeper let her out of the Seireitai, and into the Rukon District. She ran through the Seireitai, making sure everything was alright. She had volunteered for patrolling the Seireitai, although they were a bit hesitant to let her go patrolling.
She continued running, until she saw a small figure walking around. She squinted her eyes. "Soifon-sama?" Telma whispered quietly to herself. She smiled and and started running again. "Soifon-sama!!" Telma yelled out, the tinny bag still in her hands. She was running extremely fast, not using her Shunpo though. Telma tripped on a piece of wood lying idle in the middle of the wide pathway, and went flying forward into the huge puddle of mud. Telma got up slowly, wiping off her clothes, and sighed. She just shunpo'd over to Captain Soifon-sama and smiled. She waved, waling next to her. Next to Soifon, Telma looked like a giant.
She raised her bag up to a visible height. "Look Soifon-sama! I brought some materials that block the rain! There very pretty and bright!" Telma exclaimed to her. She grabbed the jacket and noticed there was a black kitty icon on the back of it, and decided not to mention the cat. She put the items back in the bag, looking down at Captain Soifom-sama, waiting for an answer. Telma expected to get hit by Soifon, but she had kinda always had to expect that. Telma figured it came with the job of lt.

| A small southern wind blew through the garganta from teh entrance that he was coming through the darkness gripping him silently like a veil masking his very existance. He had to make haste with his movements and quickly advance before time was run out and he could not help them. The closest one he could feel that knew him before his exit was of course Soi Fon. He knew her well and knew that she would be able to help him in his quest. once upon a time he had a small crush upon the woman and as teh garganta opened he lost his footing and feel through moving two feet in what seemed slow motion to him in reality he was moving quite fast. His eyes reopening as his lips were inches from Soi Fon's. With one shunpo he had moved and was now infront of her standing still. He bowed and smiled. "Soi Fon..." His toothy grin showing his fanged canines and his long silver hair playing about his body falling around his black coat. | |

| Soifon let out a sigh as the wind began to blow harder. As the captain turned a corner, something she couldn’t quite place flew by and hit her on the face. Soifon cringed as she felt a stinging pain, and put her hand to her cheek, which now had a thin trail of blood running down it. Yes, this was not a good day. Not at all.
Sudenly Soifon heard a yell, followed by a bunch of words she would rather not repeat. She closed her eyes for a moment, wondering if she really wanted to see what or who was causing the racket, and finally turned. Two Rukongai men were yelling at each other at the top of their lungs, and pushing and shoving. Soifon rolled her eyes and was ready to walk away, when one man spotted her. He stopped swearing, and grabbed the other man by the shoulder, pointing at Soifon rather rudely. Then, with a big smirk on his face, the kind that says "you better get out of here unless you want trouble," the man walked toward her quickly. Soifon stood her ground, her face stern, looking him the eye. "Hey baby," the man growled, the smirk never leaving his lips. "What's a pretty little thing like you doing out in all this? You might get hurt." The other man started laughing, if you could call it a laugh. It was really more of a snorting.
"I suggest you step away from me," Soifon muttered, her voice icy. The first man chuckled. "Now why would I want to do that?" He reached out and grabbed her arm, clutching it hard. To his surprise, Soifon didn't scream or start to cry. Before he knew it, she had kicked him so hard he went flying backwards into a puddle. Soifon's eyes met his, and she allowed herself a small smirk before turning and walking away.
Turning another corner, she stood for a minute and looked up at the sky, which seemed to be getting darker with every minute. Her arm throbbed where the man had grabbed her, and there was dried blood on her face where she had been hit. She wondered how much longer her patrol would last. Actually, she had been wondering that the whole time she was here. It couldn't end sooner.
The captain was about to begin walking again, when she heard another voice, female this time, yell. "Soifon-sama!" The voice was familiar, and she turned to see her lieutenant running toward her, looking rather perky. How anyone could be happy when they were out in this storm was beyond her. She looked up at Telma , who was quite a bit taller than her, and gave a simple nod of recognition. "That's nice," she said tiredly, not even bothering to snap at the woman. Soifon realized she wasn't acting as a captain should, and tried to pull herself together. "What are you doing here?" She asked, frowning. "I thought lieutenants weren't supposed to be on patrol." At least that was the last she heard. If they changed the rules they should have told her. It wasn't that she thought lieutenants were weak, not at all. It was just that she didn't think they were quite experienced enough to patrol Rukongai.
Soifon suddenly saw someone else, very close to her, his lips almost touching hers. With a start, she jumped quickly away. Not again! This was just what she needed! Not! "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" she demanded, her temper flaring.

| Telma watched quietly and in slight awe as Captain Soifon-sama beat the man. She smiled with amazed pride when Soifon kicked him into a puddle of water. After Soifon turned around, Telma inconspicuosly walked over to the man in the puddle of water."Whhhhaaaaaa......" The disoriented man began, but he was quickly quieted with a swift quick to the face by Telma's foot. She grinned and looked at the man, who was now just an unconcious fool. "That's what you get for trying to hurt Captain Soifon-sama!!!" Telma said with another kick to his stomach. She turned around on her heel, smirking brightly at the other men, who were staring in a bewildered state. They were either amazed at her unsual height, or that she had just knocked out a man a quick kick to thye face. Telma thought it was mix of both, though she could never be sure with these dirty Rukongai thugs.
Telma walked briskly in the rain to cath up with her Captain Soifon, just in time to hear her question about lieutenants on patrol. "Well, Captain Soifon-sama, I volunteered for patrol duties today. I liked the weather, and the Rukongai always needs some extra help, so I decided to come out here. And besides, I heard my tiny little Captain was patrolling too, So I decided to accompany ya." Telam said with a brihgt smile, her waterproof multicolered sweater flaring like a ridiculous rainbow flame in the heavy winds. Her hair blew every which way, looking frayed and messy. Telma knew that it was always messy, but today it looked just weird. The earmuffs satyed tightly on her head though, strapping down whichever hair was under the plastic red strap. It had images of little cartoon duckies on it, and the earmuffs themselves were a bright yellow fluff.
Telma was still carrying the pink bag, swinging it back and forth over and over in her hand. She looked like an oversized 6'8" five year old, her childish behaviour taking responsiblity in that. Well, at least her behavior had represented a tomboy rather then a girly brat. She looked at Soifon-sama suddenly seeing the look of shock on her face, and she knew was wrong. Telma had been in a daze, not paying attention to the Garganta that had opened up and the silvery haired man that had emerged from the opening. Her eyes lit up with slight fear, though retained her tomboy childishness. "Who are you? And why do you scare Soifon-sama? And why exactly are you so close to her lips, Mr. Mystery person with a fancy Garganta?" Telma asked with him, her sapphire blue eyes looking directly into his, an adorable babyish stare directed at him. Telma only gave him that adorable stare so that they could avoid any fights in the Rukongai.
It was one of her many talents. The decieving yet cunning element of Persuasion. Telma, quite a charasmatic girl, even as a young child. Able to get whatever she put her mind to, albeit calmly and kindly. That's how she'd earned her spot amonsgt the past Division she was in, the 12th Division as a graceful third seat. Getting a lieutenant spot in 2nd Division, however, was harder. Her charasmatic and persuasive abilities didn't work at all. It required her aspect of skill and pure talent, which Telma was quite lucky to have, seeing as it was unusual to have a wonderous amount of talent. She eventually earned this spot, fari and square, and earned to be of service to a wonderful Captain. She wasn't gonna let this man, this mysterious man, do anything to her or her Captain Soifon. She still blinked, wide-eyed, when she saw that he was only inches away from her lips.

| Karel saw what was going on and she noted that there were men harrassing poor Sio Fon and she chuckled. Then when the man appeared she felt a slight hint of hollow energy from him and she appeared next to Soifon at her short height of only 4"8' and wore a tattered robe. She had long white hair that touched the ground and startling silver eyes, in her hand was always a paintbrush that anyone who knew about her was very dangerous. She noted the oddly dressed one she knew to be Telma and she nodded top her calmly before looking at the man that was standing before them.*"Good day Soi-Fon, how are you...would you like some assistance......" | |

| He smiled down at the small women that had come behind soifon. It rememinded him of his days here in the gotei as a vice captain and also what happened to him and why he was what he was. A small frown tucked at his lips and disappeared as quickly as it came about. His shimmering silver eyes looked quickly between theirs catching their thoughts and what they wished. His memories fading again to the past, but this time to him and soi fon's.
Kuroden walked slowly his first division horai fluttering in the wind much faster than his graceful sliver hair as he made his way to a meeting of vice captains. His mind raced thinking about them all and naming them to himself. The first that came to mind was the newest and most attractive, Soi Fon. She seemed colder than ice and was strong willed which was good for a high ranked shinigami, but in all honesty, he for some reason or another felt as if he wanted to get to know her better.
He chuckled quitetly as he walked, teh pink cherry blossums fluttering about around the courtyard. It was absurd to think of another officer in that type of personal manner yet he did. His captain had told him that every shinigami was entitled a significant other if they willed and that it actually helped to relieve the stress of the life they lived. he then saw her walking infront of him making her way to the entrance. He wanted to force words out to speak to her, but all that he could manage was a hello and a wave. He did recieve an innocent smile back and that enough was something to sustain him.
His mind pulled him back to where they were now looking at each other. He smiled and waved at the two weaker women while bowing at the same time. He walked over to Soi Fon looking into her eyes deeply. He spoke to her never taking his silver gaze from hers. "It has been far too long Soi Fon....and congratulations on the promotion." He leaned down to take and kiss her hand trying to be as calming as possible to avoid any hostility. A small grin upon his fully released lips as his zanpakuto radiated reitsu from his hips.

| Soifon's eyes were narrowed as she glared at Kuroden, a "get away now" look on her face. How dare he! That stupid, un-respectful, idiot! The nerve! The captain glanced at her lieutenant as she heard her speak, and tried not to groan. Telma should be more careful about who she spoke to like that! Her attitude could get her killed someday. Soifon shook her head slightly at Telma, trying to tell her not to go too far.
Suddenly, there came another voice from behind her. "Good day Soi-Fon, how are you...would you like some assistance......" Soifon glanced over, not wanting to take her eyes off of Kuroden for too long, and saw her fellow captain, Karel, standing there. She hated to admit it, but she was a bit relieved. Not that she couldn't take on Kuroden herself of course.... she most certainly could... but none the less, she was a bit glad....
"Karel," she greeted the other captain in her usual cool manor, with a nod. Soifon's eyes quickly snapped back to Kuroden, wo was walking toward her. She clenched her teeth, and tried not to say all the things that were running through her mind, things that would be quite undignified for a captain to say. Standing her ground, she glared at him as he came closer, willing herself not to back away. The only reason she stepped away before was because she was startled, not afraid. After all, what reason did she have to be afraid of this man?
Soifon stared at Kuroden, now inches away from, her, a look of challenge in her eyes, silently daring him to get closer, to try anything with her. Oh, how she would love to blow him to pieces.... "It hasn't been long enough," she replied in an icy tone, glowering at him. "It could never be long enough." The captain quickly pulled her hand away after Kuroden had kissed it, and drew her zanpakuto. "What do you want? Something tells me you're not in these parts to just walk around."

| Telma watched the glare Soifon threw to the man with the Garganta. She managed to catch Soifon's movement, obvoiusly directed at her. She took it as a 'Shush." Telma nodded before walking over to the 7th Division Captain, Karel-sama. She smiled and waved to her. "Hi Karel. What brings you out to the lovely and quite rainy Rukongai District today?" Telma asked Karel with an inquisitive tone in her voice. Her head snapped back to Soifon and the man, noticing the man kiss her hand and the reaitsu boldly being emitted from his hips.
She frowned in disgust of the weird man and looked at him and Soifon. She was struggling to keep her typical protective nature over her captain under control. But somehow, she managed not to rage out in anger at this man and stood her ground throught the powerful desire to yell at him. She turned back around and smirked slightly when she noticed Soifon pull at her zanpakutou. Telma once again faced Karel, and a lazy look appeared in her eyes. "How are things going at the 7th Division, Karel-sama?" Telma said, firing another curious question to Karel.

| She watched the man with her cold silver eyes like metal as she slipped her arms into her sleeves to hide them, ready to attack at a moments notice. She already did not like the man, as it seemed that he and Soi Fon had had some bad ties. She flicked her wrist at the sky as it cleared a hole into it as a kanji appeared in the air that said "Cloudless". She did not like the gloom in the air, and preferred having sunlight about. Just the fact he had kissed Soi Fon's hand disturbed her and her silver eyes narrowed on the man as she was prepared to fly through over a dozen kanji that had been prepared in her mind.
She then heard as Soi Fon spoke to the man and that simply confirmed her suspicions of the man that he was not one to be trusted so easily. She snapped her fingers as her Zanpaktou spirit blended into the walls, its reitsu completely concealed as she kept her eyes on the man.
She then heard Telma and she got a smile on her lips and she smiled at her, her hands still in her sleeves*" Not so rainy any more. but other than this particular occurrence, everything is good....I was just out taking a walk I suppose till now, I finished all my paper work, clones are very helpful."* She then listened to Telma as she spoke again and smiled*"Oh, everything is good, music, wine and all of the like as usual, but all in moderation, gotta be prepared if there is any...disturbance."*

| Kuroden smiled at Soifon as she spoke with precision and icesicles in her voice, all of which aimed at Kuroden. His teeth showing against the reflection of her zanpakuto which was now at his neck pressing lightly against his jugular. He was sure that the blood flowing through could be felt rushing over her blade slowly making her hand shake at a soft pace, but no incisions were made.
His smile receded a tad as he spoke at a whisper loud enough for only Soifon to hear. "I wonder dear Soifon if you did in fact miss me over all these years?" His voice heightened enough for Karel to know hear him as well as the Vice captain there behind both women. This was something they all needed to hear since it was of the utmost importance in all of their lives and should not be taken lightly at all.
"The true reason for my sudden arrival, my captains is the fact that there are two horrid people that are planning an attack on soul society at this very moment. If you all will allow I will stay to help prepair your forces for said attack because i know these men and they are truly dangerous. Soul Society should get their forces together while i have made it so that they can not make it here and so that we can build our strengths." His eyes drifted to Karel sending a smile and nod at her comment.

| As Kuroden smiled at her, Soifon glared back, her eyes as cold as ice. This was no time for stupid games, no time for innocent chats. "Did I miss you?" the captain hissed, her voice sarcastic. "What the hell kind of question is that?! The day I miss you is the day I make friends with Arrancar! Now stop fooling around! Tell me what you want or get out! I have a job to do and you're not making it any easier!" Soifon would have done anything to get away from him, even if it meant patrolling Rukongai for another week! In the wind and rain! And freezing weather!
Her glare didn't soften as Kuroden began to speak again, this time addressing it to the whole group. She didn't give any reaction or alarm to what he said, though secretly she was alarmed. And shocked. First three captains, one the captain commander, betray the Soul Society, leaving them short of officers, and now this. Stay calm, Soifon told herself, her gaze still fixed on Kuroden. After all, how do you know he's telling the truth?
"Two people?!" Soifon scoffed, shaking her head. "Like two people could do any damage! Two people against a whole Soul Society? Don't make me laugh! If you think that they can be any possible threat to us, with all our divisions and officers, you must have hit your head on something pretty damn hard! I don't care how the hell power these men have, they can't possibly be stronger than all of us." She shook her head, crossing her arms.
