THE PLOT!
The Great Flood (a short summary of how the New world was born) - Spoiler:
The Soul Society Presidential election was definite, it was greatly favored by CC46 council cause they all had there bets in mind. Three nobles were chosen for the race, but the captain and commander, was not included despite his great contribution to the peace and wellness of soul society. They always just saw him as what he truly was.
Nothing more but a lowly peasant,someone who got his way into the academy through a friend who became his mentor.
His mentor was the previous captain of the 1st division, a man so legendary that he cast shadows over everyone. The one who built Gotei 13 from the ground, Genryūsai Yamamoto, the first captain and commander of Gotei 13.
Yamamoto died of unnatural causes one day, something that caused grief to many a millions. No one would've taken the job, but as he was appointed he accepted his fate with a smile in agreement to the councils wishes.
Centuries came, and he would've thought hes done everything he could, but its always the same, the election had to happen... without him.
One stormy night, something occurred, 2 prime nobles were found dead.
Same time, same unknown causes.
But shortly after arrows with messages came knocking on there doors. One from the last candidate left, it said. "Only i shall rule this world"
With just that message, the noble war occurred, innocent lives were not spared, it was... A massacre...
Coincidence as it was, that time was the same time that all of gotei 13 captains went missing, one by one by one, they were gone, but it was not coincidence, nor was it an accident.
It was all planned by who came to be the most powerful man on Soul Society, the man who orchestrated it all, from the Noble war, to the disappearance of all captains.
A man named Jinketsu Ookami the current First division Captain.
While everyone was at chaos he's laughter could be heard all over soul society.
Great loads of water suddenly started to flood everything, as if rejoicing with him, rumors say that it swallowed him alive.
The water came with great spiritual pressure, that no one could have stopped where the events lead to.
And so a new world was born, no one really knows if it's Jinketsu Ookami behind this new world creation, but its said that hes still out there... somewhere
The New World
500 years had passed since the unforgettable flood, but it still lays fresh on everyone minds. With it came a new world, filled with undiscovered mysteries, a world where everything else collides with each other. It didnt take long for Gotei 13 to be completely terminated due to being found guilty for the great flood and the noble war. A new organization was made to carry on Gotei's original will which is to save souls and reserve peace and unity within soul society, CC46 council named it " Keisatsu no Shikyo" or the police of death. But being found guilty, Gotei 13 members weren't arrested nor executed, for they were once again called to serve, and the always loyal 3rd seated officer of gotei 8th's Kuriyama Tatsuki was appointed as its Captain and Commander of the KNS corps. But things changed... The KNS corps are paid to save souls and to do dirty work for the new government, unlike before, the fast and changing new world requires currency to be able to live, and working under the government pays high sums, but most shinigami's opposed of this, they were still true to there vows under gotei 13, and they serve only under the king. Thus they left, they were basically called "Shikyo Kaizoku" (Death Pirates) for they're branded fugitives in this world, cause leaving your duty as a shinigami is a grave crime.
