Bankai Description: when he releases his bankai, the sky turns red and large cinders begin to fall from the sky setting fire to flammable things, it lasts as long as the bankai does and the cinders continuously fall
Honoo no Ryu: a dragon made of flames that is fired off of Reins right hand intensity and strength is dependent on how much reiatsu is put into it, small amounts equal just flames that burn. large amounts equal larger dragons which explode on impact. can use as many as he wants but using to many causes fatigue, larger dragons obviously cause more fatigue than smaller ones.

History and RP sample
History: Rein was born into the soul society when he was just sixteen years old he lived and fought everyday like it was his last, he stole when he had to and fought to defend himself, one day he beat the wrong people , and they returned with several friends to kill him, he resisted but the easily over powered him to grabbed his arms and one of them took out a knife and made to plunge it into rein's heart just before it made contact it the mans arm was severed and it fell limp to the floor the man screaming in agony the the person who saved his life turned out to be a beautiful Female shinigami "if you want to live i suggest you take your friend and leave" she said with the authority her title demanded the tow men holding him let go and grabbed their bleeding friend and left. in a flash Rein was at her feet, "you saved my life i intend to repay the debt miss...." he said as he bowed "my names Yumi and there's no need to repay me living your life is thanks enough" she said as she waved him off and began to walk away. "fine but we will meet again because i intend to repay the debt whether you want me too or not" he said as turned and left.
Three days after that incident rein joined the shinigami academy each year learning more and more about the powers and abilities that come with the title. he finished his last year with top marks and was placed in squad nine as the fifth seat he was intending to find Yumi the second he had time, but fate shined on him the second he entered the barracks looking for the vice captain he bumped into the vice captain which happened to be Yumi, "watch where your going... wait a minute do i know you?" "yes you do actually im Reiniku Zenshou,the new fifth seat as well as the man you saved years ago in rukongai miss Yumi, or should i say Vice captain Yumi?" he said hoping she'd remember him. " the kid who almost got stabbed? what're you doing here?" she said obviously surprised. "i'm here to repay the debt i owe you" he said looking her in the eye. "i told you that you just had to live your life to pay me back there's no need to do anything more" she said. "then i'll live it as your friend" he said happily. "fine just don't get clingy or i'll kill you" she said eying him closely
Things went well from there they became good friends and did most things together, for a good fifty years they remained friends, one day out of the blue Yumi told rein she loved him, Rein laughed at first thinking she was joking, which earned him a elbow in the ribs, when the pain subsided he asked "you mean your serious?" "of course i am i wouldn't joke about that idiot" she said annoyed as she turned her head not wanting him to see her blushing. "well then that makes two of us" he said as he turned her head and kissed her.
they became lovers that day and their lives became intertwined they rarely apart, they lived like that for hundreds of years in which time, Yumi learned her Bankai, and rein learned both his shikai and bankai, though she unlike him had mastered hers. they kept it a secret between them for quite a long time, before someone found out about hers and she was made captain of the seventh squad. Rein was left as the Vice captain of squad nine as his bankai wasn't mastered yet. they continued to live as lovers and train together daily. after a century Rein mastered his bankai and was made captain of squad nine.
Things went well for the two lovers for 50 more years but fate was cruel and an illness struck Yumi, she was bed ridden for months before it finally took her life. in those months Rein was stricken with worry and guilt, and when she died her last words to him were similar to her first."Don't live your life mourning live your life to it's fullest.". after her passing Rein mourned her for a time, but took her words to heart and began living his life to its fullest always looking for new things to do and trying to make the most of his life.
things wouldn't last as long as he hoped however just five years after Yumi's death voices began mocking him, at first he thought some one was just playing a prank on him, but eventually they got louder and told him things only he could have known things he feared. he was going insane. his captain duties were left undone as he coped with the madness, eventually a mask' started showing up on his person he threw it away but it returned and eventually he'd wake up in strange places with it on his face or shattered at his feet, he had no idea what was going on but someone did, in fact 46 someones did and they ordered his execution. he escaped to the human world and hid from his pursuers.
after years of hiding, the voices overwhelmed him and he went berserk the mask almost fully forming on his face. his body changing into that of a beast it had no mind though as the two minds the reside in him were doing battle in his world. he had no idea who the person was but knew if he didn't beat her his life would cease. he used his bankai and so did she. it confused him to no end how she could use his bankai. he fought her tooth and nail she always matched him until he gained the upper hand he knocked her on her back and took his chance he pounded her face in killing her. or so he thought as she dissolved into nothing words echoed into his head. "don't slip up or i will kill you", he awoke and found himself in half destroyed jungle. he returned to japan and looked for someone who could help him understand his new life.

It was a cold quiet night in karakura town, Rein was Looking for hollow as he was protecting this area at the current time. he shivered a little and pulled a pack of smokes out of his jacket, took the last one out and tossed the empty pack. he produced a lighter from his pocket, and lit the cigarette, taking a long drag before exhaling and looked up at the sky. at that moment someone tapped him on the shoulder, he looked over startled a little. it was his long time friend Hisaki. "those things will kill ya you know" Hisaki said, he said the same thing every time he saw Rein smoking. "technically I'm already dead, so i don't have to worry do i" Rein said as he took another drag blowing smoke rings as he exhaled. "you really don't care what happens to you do you?" hisaki asked."why should i? i live for now not ten years or even ten minutes from now". He replied as he finished off the cigarette and rubbed it out with the bottom of his shoe."besides whats the point of worrying about the future when i could die a minute from now?" he said as he started to walk down the road. "i dont think thats what she meant when she told you that Rein" Hisaki said as he turned to go the other direction. Rein continued to walk as if he didn't hear the last thing hisaki said. he jumped onto the nearest building and began to shunpo to the nearest gas station, he needed another smoke.
