General Appearance- Ippo stands at the above average height for a male of Japanese descent of, he is roughly 5'8, and sports mop of rather unmanageable raven black hair. Ippo walks with his head down almost constantly which makes him seem rather small and since he has a rather small physique, considering his height, this is not helped. While it is true that Ippo's physique is indeed small, it is rather impressive as he possess a washboard stomach and a pair of legs that speak certainly of a man who runs more than your average man does.

Clothing- Ippo's clothing is rather formal and as such he appears like a man who is almost constantly busy which is ,usually, not the case. He just thinks that it makes him look more impressive.

Personality: Quiet and reserved, most mistake Ippo's silence for either arrogance or unwillingness to contribute. However Ippo's lack of words does not stem from feelings of superiority or even anything most can truly grasp, the reason behind his silence is that he finds no reason for him to place any input into conversation as he believes that anything that he says is rather useless for others to hear.

Only those who Ippo has spent long periods of time with have the ability to extract his opinion on matters and even then it is usually only a few short phrases or two. However as a result of his silence Ippo has few acquaintances and even fewer close friends. When Drunk or in Combat Ippo becomes loud, aggressive and highly annoying. Ippo rarely laughs but when he does it tends to make others feel uncomfortable as he laughs much longer then others do, mostly because when he finds something amusing enough to laugh he finds it utterly hilarious, also his laughter sounds much too hearty and appears fake even.

When angered Ippo adopts a savage expression and tends to make deep guttural noises every few seconds and attacks with reckless abandon. In normal Combat and when his cool is kept however Ippo has all the grace and effectiveness as he does during conversation.

Armor/Glove Information

Name: Unendlich Gluck (Eternal Bliss)

Bow Manifestation: The shape of Ippo's bow is quite unique all things considered, however the name is rather fitting. Ippo's bow materializes as large infinity sign made of the bright blue spiritons. The bow is held by the twin lines conjoining thus forming the infinity sign.

Spirit Glove:[b] Ippo's Sanrei Gloves take the appearance of a pair of simple looking fingerless gloves. Though they look like they are made of some sort of white leather they actually feel like cloth more than anything else. They work to help the talent youth manipulate Spiritons to his whim much more easily.

Techniques

Name: Heizen
Description: This technique creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from silver tubes which slices through the opponent. It is activated by the command "Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice - Sacred Bite!

Name: Gritz
Description: This technique forms a man-sized pentagonal Quincy cross which envelops its target. It is activated by the command "A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Quintuple Restraining Frames!

Name: Hirenkyaku
Description: This a method in which Quincy use to travel quickly over short distances. It is basically the Quincy equivalent to the Shinigami's Shunpo, or the Arrancar's Sonído.


Name: Ransōtengai
Description: This is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. It was originally created to allow elderly Quincy to fight effectively.

Ippo Exclusive Techniques


Name: Schmetterling (Butterfly)
Description: A technique that Ippo thought up in the absence of his Master in hopes of defending himself. Ippo charges up and then fires an arrow, the arrow quickly expands outwards until it is a seven feet tall and seven feet wide square that can withstand a High level of attack. The level of it's durability is roughly equal to that of the Bakudo #81 Danku.

Name: Deckel-Schuss (Cover Shot)
Description: A technique Ippo's master actually thought up, the user first builds up a large amount of Spiritons or Reiryoku before letting loose as a single Arrow. However as the arrow reaches roughly the halfway mark it breaks apart into a swarm of smaller less potent but much more numerous arrows that bombard the opponent and their surroundings. A technique usually utilized in One VS Many scenarios. Each arrow has about half the force that would be generated with the #1 Hado, Sho. The number of arrows usually number anywhere from 50-70.

Name: Helles Gebiet (Bright Area)
Description: By summoning upon both his own Reiryoku and the Spiritons in the area Ippo forms a rather large area around him that does nothing but feel. The area that is occupied by this thin layer of Reiryoku and Spiritons has the ability to detect the texture, motion and the density of whatever enters it, this basically makes it a very large skin that Ippo is able to put up. This skin, is very sensitive and as such whenever anyone enters this semi sphere of "Skin" he is instantly aware of it and can detect most of their physical features. This technique however has one large draw back as the area only takes up about fifteen meters in a semi sphere around Ippo with the bottom being located at the bottom of Ippo's feet. Also if a large number of living objects enters the semi-sphere it causes Ippo a large level of discomfort and disorients him.

History and RP Sample

History: Born and Raised in Tokyo, Ippo is a rather boring individual. With his Father a Salary-Man and his mother a working woman Ippo, as the oldest Son of the Tatsumi Family was to act as a guiding light for his younger siblings and so he took on a rather somber attitude as it appeared to work the best. When Ippo joined Junior High he joined the Tennis Club per a friends request and he was discovered to have quite the flair for it, even if he was a bit weaker then your average Junior High Student. With his skill and textbook example effective style of Play Ippo was able to bring his Junior High into the Nationals as their Second Best player behind their Captain.

After his Third Year of Junior High, where he played as Captain of the Team and helped them get in the Top 8 of Japan's Junior High School Tennis World Ippo joined the High School world where he became a very easy bullying target. With his bland and rather expressionless style of living many of the bully's were disgusted by Ippo and took their time tormenting him, much to Ippo's discomfort. At Home however Ippo acted as normally bland as usual and let neither of his younger siblings know about his lack of popularity at School.

It was during his second year of High School and his third trip to the garbage can behind the gym via his bullys that Ippo came across a rather disturbing smelling vagrant. The vagrant begged Ippo for money, to which Ippo responded that he had none as the bullys had taken his away and so instead he handed the vagrant his lunch and simply watched him as he ate. After the vagrant had finished eating he offered Ippo the opportunity to be a "Hero". Ippo, though his face showed none of it, was very pleased with the idea of going from zero to hero and took the vagrant's offer with gusto. And so began the arduous years of training that Ippo went through. By the time Ippo was in his third year of High School he had already learned how to manifest his own bow, and Arrows. This became useless however as his master then gave him his own pair of Sanrei Gloves, which worked to make it much more difficult for Ippo. It took Ippo another whole year to finally be able to utilize his skills as well as he had before the glove but then, he was quite proficient.

It was when Ippo had convinced himself that he was one of the greatest Quincies of all time, Quincy being the term his maser used to refer to the people who the training was designed for, that Ippo's master disappeared from his life leaving behind a list of manuals involving Quincy techniques and the necessary equipment for utilizing Ginto and so on. It took Ippo roughly six months to become proficient in the use of ginto and even then, he was no grand master. Since then Ippo has been accepted into his uncles business and works as a rather high paid accountant, this works to his advantage as he can simply email his work into his uncle. He has since calmed down from his rather arrogant youth and in fact has become rather withdrawn in contrast to his original personality.

RP Sample: (In case you are wondering Ippo in this sample is still a teenager, thats why he acts as he does)

Ippo moved swiftly, his bare feet making rather loud slapping noises as they slammed repeatedly against the tiled floors. He wore a simple white t-shirt with a pair of black jogging shorts and even as his heavy breathing distracted his now peaked hearing he couldn’t help but notice the sound of numerous heavy boots running along the same tiled hallways that he was traversing. Suddenly Ippo saw it, his way out of this crazy situation. “Shit! Shit! Shit!” Ippo shouted as he neared the window, the glass was cracked but he didn’t like the look of it, lonely, the only standing entrance or exit to the abandoned hospital. Suddenly there was a roar in the distance, but not nearly far enough to make him feel safe. It was when Ippo heard a squeal of joy that Ippo knew that the numerous but small Hollows had discovered him, it seemed that even in the nearly pitch black hallway they could see quite proficiently.

Drawing upon Spiritons in the environment, Ippo created his Quincy bow quickly before he tucked his head under his shoulder and leaped. Just as he took the jump Ippo felt something behind him but he ignored it as he felt his elbow collide with the already damaged glass and he couldn't help but smile as he felt the glass give way under the force behind his jump. As he leaped out the building Ippo turned around and stared into the face of the frog looking hollows that obviously wanted his head. As Ippo suddenly felt the force of gravity start to take it's effect on him, Ippo decided that maybe falling two stories onto the unforgiving and deadly cement was not the most logical of decisions. So as to change the result of this Ippo activated the Quincy Technique of Hirenkyaku and so Ippo soon found himself on the top of the roof, in prime position to launch a counter attack.

"Okay Ippo. It's just like master told you" Ippo thought to himself as he pulled on the center of his infinity sign-esque Quincy bow "First focus the Spiritons onto the firing point of your bow" Ippo thought as he felt the spiritons travel through the sides of the bow onto the converging point of the bow "Next focus on separating that large bundle of Spiritons into a bunch of different arrows as opposed to the basic technique of making it into a single, large arrow " Ippo continued and finally, he felt himself ready to take care of the threat. And it seemed not a second too soon as a swarm of the small hollows from earlier broke over the edge of the roof, ready to finish their original target. Taking a deep breath Ippo steadied his shaking body, he always got a bit nervous when it came to taking action during combat. Finally, Ippo raised his bow and let loose his arrows, and from the center of the bow a single arrow flew. Immediately the single arrow split into a series of arrows and each one took a target, ripping through them like a samurai's sword through paper mache. Letting out a sigh of relief Ippo fell onto his bottom, clutching his chest, "Maybe I'm not cut out for this" he thought to himself before falling back, obviously having been rather scared.

1. The Rectangular Beam of energy is formed at the instant that the incantation is finished by the user. Ginto operate in a fashion very similar to Kido, the only difference being that Shinigami don't necessarily need any outside equipment to utilize their "Magic" while Quincy have to use Silver Tube.

He can fire as many of them as he has Silver Tubes to use which numbers fluctuate often from 12-16 (Uryuu carried around an undetermined number but it was quite an impressive number when one stops to consider it)

2. Time to create is explained above. The imprisonment shell, assuming that the captured does not attempt to break out in any way, can potentially last as long as Ippo's Reiatsu reserves can hold up which lasts roughly three hours. All of this is in optimal situations of course which would more than likely never happen. The durability of the technique is questionable as no one but Ishida Ryuuken has ever attempted to break out of it but I would say it has enough strength to withstand attacks of about level 30 Bakudo. So assuming the captured does nothing to escape the prision could last as long as 10 posts.

3. Ransotengai is a advanced level Quincy technique and as such would logically have quite the draining effect on the user so I estimate that Ippo would be able to keep the technique active constantly for roughly an hour. So lets say...5 posts Maximum?

4. I use the term charge up but I do not mean that he actively charges up. He merely spends time building an arrow like he would for any other basic Quincy attack with an arrow.

5. Since time in the series of Bleach is questionable I would say the same amount of time that a normal arrow would take to create, less than a second just for comparison.
