Methias

| Basic InformationName: Methias Stelligar Age: 1307 (Looks early 20's) Gender: Male Rank: Espada, Highest possible preferably. Number: TBA - Highest possible, would like the admin / mod who does this to designate me a number. Looks: - Spoiler:
Methias is a relatively sinister looking being, to say the least. He wears the typical Arrancr uniform, yet the trousers he is so fond of are incredibly loose, infact, the only reason they stay on his is because of the black belt attached to his waist. These trousers are obviously the brightest of whites, indicating that he is a member of the Arrancar army. He walks in bare foot, the exception being that both are wrapped up in bandages, only the toes being revealed. His toe nails are a littl on the long side, curving downwards like a claw. The bandages wrapped around his feet are brownish in color, either indicating that they are an odd color, or that they have been worn that little bit too much. These bandages also tie around the bottom of his trousers, in order to prevent them flapping in the wind. While tight, they are not remotely uncomfortable. As for the clothing on the top half of his body, he tends to wear the typical uniform yet again. However, he is often revealing his chest and stomach, deciding against doing it up. The arms are also cut off, in personal preference apparently. This often reveals an incredibly toned body, to the point it would appear that he has always lived at the brink of death, to the point he had to train his body in order to survive. Each of the muscle's in his body seem to be trained the such an extent that the fat in his body would likely be around two percent. Each of his hands also have bandages wrapped around them, much akin to his feet, except these bandages are also covered up with gloves. Attached to the gloves are two metal claws, which are linked (chained) to one another. These claws have three blades each, and is apparently Methias' Ressureccion. His facial features would be his most noticable point, atleast according to onlookers. Having long, white hair, his eye's are almost always covered by a messy series, which hide both his hollow mask, and the red color of his eye's. The rest of his hair is a general mess, with no style in any sence of the word. It has clearly never been brushed, but has clearly been hit by several bursts of wind in its time. It is relatively spikey, considering its length. His nose is quite small and perk, pointed slightly at the tip. Just beneath his nose, his lips, which are relatively thin, giving the impression of someone who is somewhat more evil than most. The teeth within his mouth are considerably sharper than most, each tooth being almost canine-like. His chin is relatively square, making him look like he has a strong jaw. Hollow Hole: Just above the groin region. Mask Fragment: His mask fragment grips tightly around his right eye, moving up towards his right ear. Number Tattoo: Hidden beneath his hair at the back of his neck. Personality: InsanitySome describe him as an incarnate of madness, his very essence bring chaos to all those around him. He finds even the most disturbing of moment humorous, babies dying bringing a smile to his face shows the true darkness lingering within his heart. Such a twisted mind causes him to be far more confident than nearly anyone, be it through his slightly demented mind bringing with it a lack of fear, or true courage is yet to be discovered. He normally seems to lack the ability to speak, he instead communicates in a series of grunts and screams, although it is very rare anyone understands his calling. He seems to prefer walking on all fours, showing his mind is somewhat premature and animalistic. When in Los Noches, it is has often been suggested he is kept in a sealed enviroment, his outbursts being incredibly violent. He appears to not react well to others being violent or loud, somewhat instinctively attacking those who speak up or attack oneanother. With death acting little more than a play thing to him, it is a wonder how h became an Arrancar in the first place. BattleDuring battle, his Malevolent nature is shown to truly appear. Capable of killing even innocent bistanders with but no remorse, he becomes a force truly to be reckoned with. He attacks based purely on instinct, although it appears to most to show no real pattern. Attacking from multiple angles at once, aswell as showing great tactics, it is shown that he is truly a master of battle and chaos indeed. Intellect / ManipulativeUnknown to the outside world, his mind is infact highly intelligent. Carefully thinking through everything he does, he is for certain a truly manipulative being. He appears to be unable to speak, yet this is just another lie to decorate his already trecherous self. He believes if people believe he is nothing more than a beast, they will begin to think lesser of him. If this is done, it would mean he would have the element of surprise if he ever needs it. However, once certain emotions run through him, be becomes a truly magnificient beast, a devil in an Arrancar's body. It is during these times that his animalistic rage is seen, and anyone who stands in his way is likely to not be breathing for much longer. Using his innate ability, he is also able to control people's memories to a moderate amount. This allows him to essentially control them, manipulating their past to such a degree he turns them into what he wants them to be. This gives him the perfect abilities for covert missions, or missions that require a certain item. If given enough time, he can sneak into enemy headquarters, find a manipulation target, and spend hours hiding, and modifying their memories. HatredMethias has a true hatred for most races outside Arrancars, and more specifically, the humans. He hates those miserably creatures more than anything, and would gladly eradicate the whole of the race. Yet, he still prefers to watch them suffer, and can spend days simply manipulating them to a degree of where they end their own life, and become the very same creature he is, well, to a lesser extent of course. After this is done, he then usually enjoys a quick hollow snack. The best treats are the ones you create yourself, of course. To the other, non-human races, he chooses not to kill them. No, instead he chooses to manipulate their minds to such a degree that they cannot continue with everyday life, and become nothing more than a vegetable. While people usually recover from this, some scars will never fade. SadismAs expected from such a person, Methias is incredibly sadistic. If you hadn't gathered from the above, it is still very clear that he enjoys watching the seeds of his mental damage come to grow. Aswell as the enjoyment he gains from causing mental pain, seeing people suffer a painful death brings but a cute little smile upon his devilish lips. It doesn't appear to truly matter if the damage comes from him or not, just the sight of someone in agony is music to his ears. He appears to be facinated by violience, weapons, injury and torture, and any time it is occuring in Las Noches he is more than likely to make an appearance. The WondererUnlike most beings, he seems to casually wonder around when being sent on a mission. His actual attention to things themselves are abysmal, and is more likely to be seen playing with something he found on the floor than actually being at all helpful to the cause. Due to his wondering mind, it is often required that someone helps keep him in check. As such, he is rarely seen alone outside of Las Noches, either under the command of an Espada or a superior ranking Arrancar. He doesn't like to be in one place for too long, however, as his mind quickly grows weary of the things around him. Due to this, he seems to have an imaginary world inside his head, which he retreats to whenever he is bored. It is quite clear that his insanity also plays a huge part in this place aswell. The world itself is as messed up as he is, and almost appears as an area of space, rocks floating around, with several childrens toys in various locations. These toys move and walk on their own, and even fight with one another. When Methias goes into this little world in his mind, he sits in the center, upon a giant throne, which could indicate a superiority issue. Curiosity killed the CatAs previously stated, Methias seems to wonder off and do his own things. The reason for this is simple. He is incredibly curious. Due to the fact he is infact incredibly intelligent, if he see's anything new, he wishes to find out everything about it. How it works, what it does, and why it does it. Three of the most commonly asked questions that linger in Methias' mind. Once figuring these things out, he moves onto the next target, and his curious mind continues to wonder. He wishes to understand everything, and know of everything, and because of this, it could be said that when he's trying to figure something out he is infact most dangerous. Sexuality: Straight Relationship Status: Single Resurrecion InformationName: Locura Represent: Human Family: Fire / wind Looks: - Spoiler:
To initiate Methias' resurreccion, he first pulls his arms apart, thus shattering the chains that bind him, falling to the ground. The noise of this happening is almost mindblowingly loud, the clattering of chains to the floor almost able to make most people feel like their insides are shaking. After doing this, he says the phrase "Vasco en el gloria de Locura". With these few words, his Ressureccion is revealed. His skin turns into an incredibly odd shade of blue, so dark it almost looks black, but the hint of blue is definately visible. However, the only pieces of skin that are visible are his face. Two downwards pointing horns are attached to the side of his head, and end at the bottom of his face. This is infact his Hollow Mask. His clothing changes to an almost incredibly degree, several pieces of what could be described as armor surrounding his body. It is but black, the decoration of it making it appear to be crossing itself. Attached to his waist, several pieces of what appear to be fabric seem to dance around him. The tips of these pieces of fabric appear to be burning hot, giving off the smoke that covers him. Both hands, during this state, are now claws, red in color, and clearly incredibly sharp. His hair is now blue, incredibly messy, with no style to mention. His eye's also change color, becoming bright white, with apparently no pupil, although his vision is unaffected. (For more information, refer to spoiler picture.) TechniquesName: Creation State: Res Description: Allows Methias to create an abundance of fire and wind energy. The fire and wind energy are potent enough to, when added together, be strong enough to stop kido up to level 80, and deal as much damage as a Kido of level 88. The creation of the energy is almost instantaneous, and creates enough fire to be held in a sphere with a ten meter radius. However, this technique can only be done once every 3 posts. (Cooldown: 3 posts) Name: Manipulation State: Res Description: Allows for control of both elements at once, causing Methias to be able to control the shape and ferocity of the elements. He can also move them around as he pleases. This means he could use the fire as a flamethrower, or to create a wall of fire. As long as there is Fire and Wind, he can continue to manipulate them. He can only manipulate the energies if they are within 35 meters of him. Name: Burst State: Res Description: The final stage of Methias' attacks during this state. This ability allows him to completely remove the elements in an burst of power, which sends fire and wind energy in mulitple directions. If this happens next to the opponent, they will take the full blunt of the damage it is capable of producing, making this ability almost shotgun-like. The burst stems from wherever the energy is at the time, and the explosion is around ten meters in every direction. Any further, there would be a slight knockback, but with no damage being incurred. The burst is instant, however, it totally destroys the elements created by the Creation Technique. (Cooldown: 5 posts) Hollow TechniquesName: Cero Master State: Both, stronger is Ressureccion. Description: Methias is a master of using Cero, and as such, his is particularly potent. He can also fire cero from any part of his body, without having to strike any particular pose to do so. He also has access to the higher level "Gran Rey" Cero. Name:: Sonido Expert State: Both, Faster is Ressureccion. Description: Methias can use Sonido at a very high level, but he is by no means the fastest when it comes to this. He also has to take more steps than high level users to reach a particular location. Name: Hierro State: Both, harder in Ressureccion. Description: A technique bought about by the Shinigamification of a Hollow. This condences their Reiryoku, giving them a hardened, steel-like skin. Methias' Hierro is strong enough to ward off a captains sealed blade, however small wounds might still occur if the Captain is seasoned enough. Name: High Reiryoku State: Both, higher in Ressureccion. Description: Reiryoku is what most beings use to fuel their attacks. If enough is released at once, it can seem to cause paralysis in those significantly weaker than them in the form of Reiatsu. Methias has a high amount of this energy, meaning he is both resistant and sustaining in battle. If he desire's, he can release his Reiatsu and paralyse those of 3rd seat or lower. Name: Bala State: Both, faster is Ressureccion. Description: Bala is the faster yet weaker vesion of Cero. It's small size allows it to travel at incredible speed, however, the ferocity of the attack is proportionally weaker. Name: Garganta State: Both Description: The technique that allows hollows to tear open an area of space to travel between worlds. History and RP SampleHistory: Born several hundred years ago, Methias never knew his birth parents. An unmarried couple accidentally fell pregnant, and upon giving birth, left him in a forest several miles away from his unknown hometown. Being newborn, his fate seemed to be sealed from that very day. However, nature is often kind in its blessings, and something truly amazing happened on that very night. A wolf pack found the child, and as amazing as it may sound, they took the child in as their own. They fed it, looked after it, and gave it a family. Growing up without a name, he lived alongside the wolves that raised him, unaware of what it was to be human. At the age of four, he was much stronger than most fully grown men, capable of running on all fours at incredible speeds for such a young child. He already knew he was different to his family, but he didn't care. By this time, he had grown to be able to understand them, as well as being able to communicate with them. His mind was truly no longer human, and his body had began to make some striking changes due to the way he lived. His fingers and grown in such a way he had claws, and his teeth were ever-so sharp. As the years had passed, he became an efficient hunter, his hands now devastating weapons, along with his teeth. By this time, he was around eighteen, a matured young man with scruffy, silver hair. While hunting with the pack, a group of hunters eventually charged the pack. Seeing the young man with them, they took an interest in him, and killed the whole pack but him, instead knocking him out and taking him with them. Upon waking up, he was a freakshow. Locked up in a cage and shown to the two legged creatures, he couldn't help but notice that they were like him. Another four years had passed, and he had picked up an understanding of the so called "Humans". It was this year that he made his escape, although it would end up being the last day he spent living in this world. Taking vengeance for his pack, he killed atleast fifty humans befor being killed with the same method his pack was, shot. It took a whole four bullets to take him to the ground, and upon deciding he was no longer useful to them, they took the final shot to the head, his life ending within moments. And then it was blank. His life was over, but he still felt something. The feeling of being given rebirth. But this was not the case, he was but a spirit, slowly but surely becoming something more, a Hollow. By the time he had properly awoken, his spirit chain has only a few hours before it severed completely, and that is exactly what it did. As it broke from his chest, a strange darkness filled the area around him, a white mask building upon his face. The transformation was complete. He was now something else. He spend several years prowling the area he lived in, the area which names he couldn't remember. His mind scared to the point of no return during life, he was but a truly sinister creature now he was dead. Spending the majority of his time around deathbeds, he instantly devoured the spirits of the recently dead to forfill his hunger, and further avenge his fallen pack. However, the curse of eternal hunger was far greater than anyone could imagine, and he eventually turned to the other Hollows who lurked around to further forfill his hunger. Menos Grande, and the forest of Menos. This was where he found himself next, his mind lost in the darkness of several hundred Hollow entities sharing a single body. During this time of peace, he spend several years docile, unawakened. Yet, something eventually triggered within the truly pointless Menos. It heard a name, his name, for the first time - Methias. A mighty roar filled the air within the forest, Methias finally awakening yet again some four hundred years later. The hunger was too great, and all the Menos around him were ripe for the picking. Every one tasted better than the last. Merely days had passed, and the next evolution had taken place. It was during his time as an Adjuchas he managed to learn about his abilities. The capability to mess with beings minds was such a beautiful capability, and ever-so deadly. Able to turn ally into foe, and foe into ally, he eventually was subject to being watched by lower level Arrancar. His abilities were so strange, that many a being wanted Methias in their alliance instead of an enemies. Because of this, he was constantly on guard, and even killed many of those weakling Arrancar's which were becoming an annoyance. That was, until that one fateful day, he gained progression into the next level of a hollow It was only for around a year, but he had finally progressed into the final stage of evolution. He still remembers the day he removed his mask, and became what he is today. Arrancar. (Appologies for the relatively poor history... I don't like it :<, but i'm too lazy to make any real changes... <.<) RP Sample: - Spoiler:
A horrific growling noise could be heard through the very walls of Las Noches, as the newest addition to the Espada prowled through the marble halls. Walking on all fours, the white haired, wolf-like Espada truly manifested the insanity that lied within his mind. Scraping his metal claw upon the ground, a screech joined in with the now many musical notes that filled Las Noches with noise. Scratching the ground as he continued down the halls, his ruby colored eye's fixated on the ceiling, somewhat oblivious to the world around him.
His clothing could be seen to be loose, a little too loose. The only thing keeping his trousers on was the black belt that tightened around his waist, a tail ripping through just beneath it. The clothing on his upper body covered all but his arms, even his neck being hidden by his neckbrace. On his right arm, the number "10" was in clear sight. Although it marked his ranking within the Espada, Methias didn't care for rank, only living for the chance to see those around him suffer.
Truth be told, Methias was lost. He had only been in the grand palace for a mere week, and still hadn't got aquanted with the magnificient place. This didn't bother him, however. He just wanted to find something to do. Boredom, such a terrible thing. He truly longed for a chance to destroy someone's very mind. Unlike most of his kind, who enjoyed causing death to whomever stood in their way, Methias delighted in causing a fate worse than death. Eternal madness. To see someone fearing for their very life, all the while slowly becoming nothing more than a vegetable bought about more pleasure than a swift death ever could. Most of his victims ended their own life, much more satisfying.
His feet eventually led him to a whole new place, a huge, grand room. Several seats could be seen in plain view, along with a table to sit around. Methias had a seat on this table, the lowest ranking, but still there. His eye's glanced across each and every seat, firstly thinking it was empty, before noticing another in the room, sitting on the grandest seat in all of Las Noches. The Primera's throne.
Staring blankly at this new being, it was someone he had never seen. Although he hadn't met many of the Espada, he could only assume that this being was the Segunda Espada, although even the truly insane may have doubt in their mind. His lips grew into a snarl, another growl escaping through it. This didn't seem agressive, however, it was simply how his upbringing had left him, his mind being eternally warped. Luckily enough, the Espada didn't take into account mental instability when deciding their ranks.
Moving forwards, he climbed up onto his seat, simply continuing to snarl and watch the new arrival. Seeing as how he was sitting, Methias thought it was what he was expected to do. Nothing more than an animal? Maybe in this state, but such was the will of those who created him. With a sudden change, his snarl lowered to an emotionless state. A chance meeting, or something that would affect the future of Methias' life? Only time could tell.
- Spoiler:
Leaning back into the chair, Methias began to examine the room, suddenly ignoring the male who was sat in the Segunda seat. Truth be told, he had somewhat struggled to pay attention to something for more than a few moments, his mind as wild as he. Las Noches was, in his own opinion, an oddity. Marble, something of royalty, decorated the castle within the sand. However, the Arrancar.. They weren't royalty, they were murderer's, thieves and rapists. Scum, you could say. Such beings who belonged locked in a cell for all eternity. Could they really think so highly of themselves? Damn right, everything fun in the world was that they manifest, so why the hell not enjoy it? A grin grew on his lips.
Madness, chaos, insanity. It was all the same thing. And Methias loved it all. Creating chaos by making his opponent become insane, something that only a mad man could do. It was something else to enjoy it. A sudden burst of laughter escaped his lips, a look that would send a chiver down the spines of knights growing within his eye's. "Another wolf, 'eh?", a voice could be heard in the distance, not too far away, coming from the segunda's seat, apparently. Methias' facial expressions returned to nothingness, as his eye's fixated once more on the man.
Wolves. Pack. Family. Three things that would mean nothing more than a group of animals to most could but bring Methias' most precious memories back to him, if they weren't long forgotten. Some people cherish their past, some people detest it. Methias? He couldn't care less. His memories as a wolf pack human were destroyed as he became a Hollow, along with any kindness he had left to give. All that was left within him was but an empty void where a heart should have been, and a desire to inflict a fate worse than death upon others who would so foolishly attempt to attack him head on. Idiots, all of them.
Returning to reality, Methias ran the metal claw attached to his right hand across his face, a small slice following down his cheek. Blood dripping from the wound, it was clearly obvious that this being didn't feel the slightest bit phased by the situation, and was merely, for some reason, trying to calm himself down. His head nodded on it's own, in responce to the apparent Segunda Espada's question, although the very ice he tried to break was holding up as strong as ever, mostly due to Methias' stubborn and twisted nature.
Moving from his seat, he returned to his all-fours position, making his way towards the Segunda's seat. As he did, he took note of all visible numbers upon the man's very body. Although most were hidden, he quickly noticed the "II" on his cheek, showing that he was either the current Segunda Espada, or more likely, a previous. Not one to ever consider a rank a remote idea of anothers strength, Methias kept his guard up, albeit he still seemed as relaxed as ever. Making a few grunting noises, Methias attempted to communicate to the male to no avail, although one who may be able to mildly understand these noises were an attempt to know more about who was before them.
- Spoiler:
The ex-second... Methias' initial impression seemed to be right on the mark. An Arrancar who was stripped from his rank and employed into the Privion, such a pity, seeing as this very being was, to say the least, strong. Any Arrancar who was the Segunda deserved respect, even if they no longer held such a rank. Could Methias himself make it to such a state of respect? Probably, he knew deep within that his abilities could turn the strongest of beings to mere puppets, controlled by the masters firm yet delicate hands. But alas, would the primera know of the chaotic power he possessed? The answer was a firm no. Not a single being in this godforsaken land knew of what Methias could do to them if he considered doing so. Just the way he liked it.
This Arrancar who stood before him.... The ex-Segunda... He too was akin to Methias. They both had goals. Methias, he was easy to please. Gaining respect from the other Arrancar was the first step, although that was somewhat difficult in his current mindset. However, to do so would be to move up in the Espada rankings. A truly boring task, but alas, it was something to do. Once this respect was gained, he intended to do all in how power to achieve his ultimate goal... Death to the human race. And doing so would be all-so simple. Using his superior manipulation abilities bought on by the feast of illusions he had at his disposal, he would manipulate the very Espada to do his ideals... But this was a long way off yet. First, he had to continue communicating with his fellow wolf.
Zoning back to reality, his eye's moved from the Tattoo'd "II" to his apparent allies eye's. Could it be that their goals were similar? Probably. This arrancar was clearly a pridefilled man, who's initital goal was clearly to become the Segunda Espada once more. This would likely result in an inevitable battle between the two of them, but that wouldn't be for a while now. Even so, not one knew one single thing about th other, opening a whole door of possibilities. The very thought of such an event bought a smile upon the face of the young-looking Espada, before he casually nodded at the man. Things were going to get interesting.
It wasn't every day something with considerable strength walked into Methias' life.
Moving away from the man, Methias moved to his hind legs, or normal legs to someone who hadn't shared the same upbringing as he. Eventually standing beside the huge, marble wall, he placed the tip of his claw upon it, the marble being carved instantly, the scratches gradually forming a word. The embodiment of eternal madness, the ruiner of lives, the most twisted mind in the whole of the Espada... "Methias" was his name, and this name was but reflected on the marble wall.
Turning back to the fellow wolf, he tapped the bottom of the "S", twice, in an attempt to get the name out of the ex-Espada. This incapability to talk was but a true irritance, something Methias wish he had picked up from the scum of the earth, the humans. His eye's seemed to lose interest in the general goings on, but he still stood and waited, while his mind slowly wondered away to another place. The home of empty darkness and devastation around every corner, his own twisted yet amazingly fun world.
- Spoiler:
Zoning away from what would have been a very strained conversation, Methias found himself in a strange yet wonderful place, voices echoing all around him, screams of innocent lives being destroyed, blood raining from the sky. Heaven? Not to most, to say the least, but it was the closest thing he could imagine it to be. As the red rain decended from the sky, the very landscape began to morph into the cities that the humans built, destroying the beauty of nature with their horrendous creations of destruction and chaos. Such a reckless disregard for what was their before, costing the lives of many of the animals that reigned before them.
The pendulum continued to swing, every tick followed by a familiar tock. Time seemed to move forward in correlation to the pendulums swings, the humans own world falling apart, much like the world they claimed as their own. Clearly karma would eventually bite humanity in the rear, as Methias' visions showed. Such was the will of the gods. Those who destroy will be destroyed themselves, those who give shall recieve. A curse to all living beings? Of course. But the beauty of it was that nobody could tell when it would occur. Fates twisted game, something of marvelous beauty and horror. With a sudden echoing screech, the world within Methias' mind crumbled into mere nothingness, returning to the hall of Espada's rule.
His eye's once again fixating on the fellow Arrancar, the name "Skaeith" came to his mind. Had he heard it during his mental slumber? Most likely, it was the most logical explanation. Being able to absorb information like a sponge was truly a brilliant feat to have, atleast it was the case while his mind warped elsewhere. He wasn't sure how much time had passed, although he felt sure that Skaeith's voice broke his creations. A pity, he was just starting to enjoy them.
As Methias finally took in the name, his head nodded slightly in responce to the name, showing he had put the name to the face. Although he put off a creature-like vibe, behind such insanity, Methias was truly a genious. A mind to be reckoned with, and a strategic master. Although not many could ever consider this side of him as real, he showed enough intellect at the right times to make people doubt he was nothing more than a creature of chaos, madness and destruction. If only he could speak, and remove the chains that kept his wolf-like tendancies close to his heart. However, time would only loosen these chains, and then he would recieve the respect and fear he so rightfully deserved.
Moving to his hind legs once more, he took on a more human posture, placing his right "Claw" on his hip, before smirking slightly. Moving his left hand in a wave, it became apparent that Methias had grown bored of this conversation, his thoughts wondering off elsewhere. Feeling his feet move towards the exit, he continued to walk normally until he reached the door, once more falling to his all-fours position and exiting the room. His first meeting with an Arrancar who spoke to him would surely not be something he would forget in a hurry.
>>Exit<<
All the above was written around a year ago on a previous RP in which I used this same character. My RPing skills have improved, and as such, all posts will by of moderate improvement to the above. The ablities of this Arrancar have also been changed, and is being mentioned to avoid any confusion the above may cause.
