A New Hunting Ground

Drake took to the dark streets of Kagamino in search of a 'midnight snack'. He was set on taking a less fortunate being such as a homeless person or a prostitute. He roamed around looking for anyone that fit the description but he had no luck. As he was about to give up he saw a young girl, a lost soul, wandering around. "I will truly hate myself for this but....I must." He whispered as he slowly walked towards the spirit.

A Garganta opened up in the sky and DeMare came out of it. Phew... Finally I have mastered that stupid way thing. she scratched her head. Is there anyone out on this time of the day? I really hope it is some Vizards, they seemed nice. Her eyes swept over the streets under her. They stopped at a suspicious-looking figure, and something that seemed like the spirit of a human. Interesting... she muttered as she Sonido'ed to get closer.

Drake felt an odd presence and stopped to take a look around. He glance up at the sky and could help but notice the beautiful blonde woman descending rapidly. Her movements were so quick and fluid he could bears see her clearly he tell she was a very voluptuous woman. He ducked into the shades, using his abilities to become nearly invisible.

DeMare landed a few feets from where she had seen the figure. But... Wasn't the person standing right over there?
She sighed. Too bad I suck at detecting Reiatsu. And she started to scratch her head again. She closed her eyes and focused. Time to manipulate the air currents. She held both her hands in front of her. A small ball of wind gathered in her hands. She squeezed her hands together and the ball exploded. Wind started to spread. If you are unaffected by this move, you must either be very heavy or using some kind of technique to nullify it.

The move didn't affect him since he was a shadow but a part of his jacket blew in the wind since it was in the shadows with him. "Dammit I didn't see that hanging out." He thought and sighed as he stepped from the shadows "It's no use for me to hide...." He said to see if the woman was friend or foe.

DeMare turned and looked at the man with black hair and icy blue eyes. I knew that there was someone hiding here.... He was quiet handsome and she started to analyse him. Not many natural muscles, but not few either. She attempted to sense his Reiatsu. It was odd, nothing like she had ever read before. This isn't a Shinigami's Reiatsu, nor a Arrancar's. Perhaps a Quincy's? But better take no chances. She turned away from him and walked a few steps foreward, against the Spirit. May you leave, please? she said in a soft, but confident tone. The spirit seemed afraid of her, and fumbled, before she ran into the night. Then she turned to the man and smiled. Did you attempt to do something to the girl? she asked, mostly to herself.

He reached into his pocket and took out a pack of cigarettes then answered, "I was only going to do what I was made to do....devour the lost and unfortunate." He replied as he took a cigarette out and place it between his lips.

Huh... When you say it that way, it seems like you attempt to justify your own actions. she smiled her girlish smile. She made a simple gesture with her hand and the cigarette packet flew from the man's hands to hers. Cigarettes... she read. So this it the thing that kills so many humans every year?

"I suppose...but its like candy to me," he explained as he lit it and took a drag. He sees the hollow hole on her abdomen and starts to ask questions....to get a better understanding of her kind "That hole and that sword....you aren't a hollow....nor are you a shinigami, so what are you....if I may ask." He glanced up at he with his pale blue eyes and smiled slightly.

She threw the packet back to the icy-blue eyed man.
What I am? I'm an Arrancar, an Espada to be more correct. she said and looked at him. She supposed he was confused. I assume that it doesn't say you much?

He caught the pack and slipped it into his pocket "That's just fine...you are like a Hybrid of the two as i see." He said as he stepped closer to the woman "I've see your kind once before...be he had a mask attached to him," he explained as he walked around her looking for hollow remnants of her hollow self and sorta of taking in the beautiful figure she had.

Kinda like a hybrid, yes. she told him. But as a hybrid, we also gain several new abilities.
DeMare gestured with her hand. A small tornado came into view. See? She pushed the tornado away and it crashed into a trashcan. Garbage started to fly all over. Whoops... I hate it when it doesn't do as I want it to. She soon got a awkward expression on her face.

He smiled as the expression he saw as cute, "It seems as though you need more practice." He flicked away the cigarette, "My name is Drake, Drake Nightingale," He introduced himself showing an act of kindness. "And what my I call you?" He kindly continued.

Practice or Resurrecion. She started to send the garbage back to where it belonged. You can call me DeMare Konfrima, Former Sexta Espada. Soon all the garbage was back in their respective cans. She turned to Drake and smiled. Now I have told you what I am. But I am curious... What are you? she asked a much more mature voice than she had started with.

"I am what you would call a spirit vampire or a Bount, we thrive on the essence of souls." He explained. "A bit like the hollows you see roaming around," he joked with the breathtaking Espada.

Interesting. she muttered. Weird... He didn't ask what 'Resurrecion' is. She narrowed her eyes. She walked around the Bount and noticed something black on his shoulder. What is that? she said and pointed at the black tatoo-like thing.

"Hmmm you first, what is the resurrecion that you mentioned?" He wondered as analyzed and probed each other for information.

Resurrecion is when we, Arrancars, release our swords. We change form and we resemble our original forms slightly more. Our powers also rise to a much vaster level and we gain new abilities. she informed him as she continued to walk around him.

She started to smell him, carefully. He smelled like those cigarettes, but also like ink and somewhat... Alive. She stopped in front of him and smiled.

So... What is the black thing on your back? she asked playfully.

The 'black thing' moved as she spoke, "that is my companion, Ink, he helps me and I help him in a way." He began to lean on a wall now just staring at her, analyzing every curve of her shapely body deep in thought. "May I ask how could suck a stunningly beautiful woman could have ever been a hollow?"

DeMare blushed slightly. She was used to get compliments from men, but it was usually on her breasts or bottom. Well... I don't know. Don't remember my human life, or my life as a Plus. Yeah... she said awkwardly.

She walked a bit farther away from Drake. So these creatures are having a symbiotic relationship with another creature? Interesting. She looked at him. You want to spar? she asked, spontaneously.

He laughed at the suddenness of her request then replied "Sure, why not." He smiled and got off the wall "But go easy on me, I am pretty drained at the moment," he smiled and placed his hands in his pocket which was strange for a fighting pose, but it was a habit of his.

As you wish, she smiled friendly as she drew har Zanpakuto. Consider this a demonstration, then. I would love to see your powers as well. she said.

She raised her left hand and a ball of wind formed in her palm. It flew fast foreward, in an attemt to strike Drake.

Drake thought this might happen so he held up his arm in front of his body "Creation, NOW!" he exclaimed as a twisted shield absorbed some of the impact but the weakened Drake stumbled back "Wow that was a bit unexpected, that would have really hurt if it made contact." He smiled as the beautiful but powerful DeMare.

Hurt? Perhaps, but it was my weakest one. she smiled, and was somewhat flattered. It was a very good shield, by the way. She held her fingers in a scissor-like motion. A ball that looked similar to the one she used earlier, but instead; she squeezed her fingers together, forming a flat, aircurrent flying straight towards Drake. Let's see how you counter this one... she thought, amused.

He quickly jumped back into the nearby shadows then 'melted' into them, completely gone without a trace. He appeared out of her own shadow and whispered "How was that?" He smiled with a sense of accomplishment.
