Personality: Sairou could be classified as a loner to some extent. He is typically locked away in his office reading books, or in a secluded area outside of soul society when training. He dislikes being interrupted in the middle of doing such events, but typically keeps calm-headed and rarely gets angry. He is very agile and flexible, especially in battle. He often holds true to his motto, "If you can't beat them fair, try cheating.", and "If the going gets tough, run away." whether in battle or not. Many of the other captains tend to look down on him for this, but he is naturally deceptive, often using trickery to get things from other people.

Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Name: Shiden (Purple Lightning)

Released Zanpakuto Description: When released Shiden increases Sairou's speed greatly, regardless of what form it's in. In shikai, Shiden has the ability to "transform" between a pure melee type zanpakutou to an elemental kidou type zanpakutou. When first released it appears in it's "claw form" which is simply a melee type with no abilities of it's own. The blades of the claws can then 'flip' to create the "fist form" of the weapon, which is a lightning elemental zanpakutou. Where the claws were, there would be cone-like projections that can emit electricity. It does this by absorbing the reishi around Sairou, then releasing it with his own spiritual energy in the form of electricity. In areas such as the Soul Society or Hueco Mundo, he can easily gather reishi to use, so his stronger attacks would naturally use less of his own energy. While in the living realm or an area of low reishi, he must use more of his own spiritual energy to create an attack of the same strength.

• Raijin: Shiden's "ultimate attack" while in shikai. Sairou builds up an extreme amount of energy and releases it in a huge blast of electrical energy, turning any weak targets into ash almost instantly. Others will typically end up with burns and temporary paralysis. The downside to this technique is that it can only be used effectively at close range, thus, causing Sairou himself to get hit with the blast; making him have to recover for at least a few days before becoming healthy enough to fight again. Because of this, it is usually used as a last resort attack. The attack also typically causes Shiden to break, or at the very least crack.
  
• Lightning Net: Sairou is able to create a net of electricity that in essence, acts as a binding kidou, paralyzing his target on the spot if hit with it.
  
• Shock Bullets: The typical attack used by Sairou while Shiden is in it's fist form. A bullet of electricity (up to three on each fist) is created and then fired at the opponent.
  
• Laser: Also nicknamed Divine Cero because of the way the technique is created and appears. This attack is very similar in appearance to a Hollow or Arrancar's cero, although it is made entirely of electricity.

Bankai Information

Bankai Description: Maou Shiden is, in essence, an overpowered version of Shiden's Shikai. The increase in strength it gives Sairou is large enough to allow him to easily topple buildings. It also greatly increases his speed. The downside is that because Maou Shiden is so large and heavy, Sairou's accuracy and range of movement suffers.

• Armageddon: Maou Shiden's ultimate attack. This technique was self-banned from being used within soul society by Sairou himself. It also uses a great deal of energy, to the point of being able to nearly kill the user. When using this technique, the fur on Maou Shiden and Sairou becomes black and a purple aura surrounds the weapon, and Sairou's eyes glow bright yellow. The technique can be used at close or long range, but the accuracy greatly decreases the further away the opponent is. Sairou will either shoot a dark purple beam of lightning from his fists (long range) or strike his opponent. (close range.) Once the technique makes contact, an extremelly large explosion (enough to render most, if not all, Soul Society destroyed.) will be created. Anything within the explosion will be severely damaged, if not dead, including Sairou. Sairou has only used this technique at long range, so the full damage potential of the technique at close range is unknown.
  
• Umoregi Raikou: (Oblivion Lightning) Maou Shiden and Sairou become enveloped in purple electricity. This greatly increases his speed and power for a period of about three to five minutes. While the lightning is around him, he cannot be physically touched without harming the other person.

History and RP Sample

History: Sairou grew up in the poorest part of the soul society. He pretty much raised himself since he was 7 years old. Around the age of 8 he met some friend, they began calling themselves sisters and brothers. By the age of 12 Sairou and his friends decided they were going to become shinigami, but not long after they decided this a hollow of unknown origin attacked them while they were out playing and goofing off. It slaughtered everyone who he had come to know and love, Sairou barely managed to run away. He hated himself for not being able to protect them and vowed he would become captain one day.

Sairou knew it wouldn't be easy. He graduated the academy lowest of his class. Barely managing to graduate, he still vowed to keep his promise. He eventually was placed in squad three whereof he kept to himself mostly. He was always locked in his room reading or studying, when he wasn't doing that he was out training. The only time he stopped was when he had a mission to attend to.

At the age of 16 he became lieutenant. His power at this time was already over whelming and close to that of a captains. A year after this Sairo mastered his Bankai. Everyone was so proud of him and even threw him a party. His captain pulled him aside and spoke to him sayiung these exact words, "When my time comes, I want you to give it your all and become captain of my squad." Astonished Sairou made a second promise he intended to keep.

A Few months later his captain died from an illness he had, had for a while now. Sairou kept his word and took the captains exam and passed with flying colors. He became the captain of squad 3. He had lead his squad on numerous mission all of which everyone came back alive. His last mission he took his squad on was his last, after years of protecting his squad with all he had, he had failed to protect his lieutenant. After his lieutenant died, he gave up his captain rank, remembering his friend back in childhood that he himself could not protect. The pain was far too great and he couldn't handle it.

A few years later he was talked into becoming the captian of squad 8. He never remembered why he quite in the first place, and agreed to become the captain once more.

RP Sample: The Forest

Sairou looked around the forest he was in, he noticed that it was very intested. Not only this, but he also noticed that the tracks are hard to find. He'd have to rely solely upon his skills to get through. It was mid day and the sun was beaming down upon him. Though the tree's were closely spaced it didn't seem to affect the suns rays. There was a dear prancing just to his right and a littles ways off, two rabbits playing, likely brother and sister. As far as animals go it was really quite peaceful.Sairou had left his Captain Haori in his office when he had left.

He wasn't feeling very good, It was probably due to the shell fish he ate. He never really liked it, but always ate it when offered it by a squad member as a sign of respect. Sairou was hoping he could walk his sickness off, but so far it had been to no avail. Right now he just seemed to be in a relaxed state of mind, doing nothing in particular, though he was still in a state of mind that he could hear should something arise his squad needed his help with.

Sairou was in a mood of unhappiness. He hated being sick, being sick to him was weakness. It meant that he was limited to the help he could provide. When limited, what could a squad possibly have use of? Sairou had always hated limitation, though never made much of a fuse about them and always tried his best even when restricted or limited. Sairou, continued to walk stopping only occasionally to admire the scenery. The birds chirping in his ears calmed him very much so, he loved the sound of nature.

Sairou walked a little while longer. To his right he heard what sounded like two people having conversation. He couldn't make out what they were saying, because of this he grabbed the hilt of Shiden. Not knowing what was going on he masked his rietsu and proceded forward. Sairou stopped behind a tree only to be accompanied by a noise of him stepping on a branch.

He heard one of the voices ask, "Who's there? Show yourself!" At this perticualar moment Shiden stepped out and spoke with kind words, "Forgive me, I didn't realize anyone else would be here......." Before Sairou had finished speaking he had noticed that it was two of his own squad members.

Sairou and his two squad members conversated for a few minute before heading back. Once Sairou was back in his office he layed down to rest. It had been a long day for him and rest was all he needed right now. Within a few minute he drifted into his waking dreams.
