Looks: Arturo has long turquoise hair, yellow eyes, and the remains of his Hollow mask on his right cheek, his appearance almost mimicking Grimmjow's. It appears to be the upper jaw, but is extended around the back of his head and has a sort of crest. His Hollow hole is located below the base of his neck. He wears the basic Arrancar uniform, but with a belt worn just underneath his sash which are connect two leather straps that hold his Zanpakutō.

Hollow Hole: The hole is located on his chest where the heart should be.

Mask Fragment: Arturo's Mask Fragment is located on his right cheek and extend to the back of his neck as the form of a crest.

Number Tattoo: Arturo's Tattoo is located on his left shoulder.

Personality: Arturo Plateado is a both calculating strategist and a ruthless warrior, with an unrivaled lust for power. This aspect of his personality is reflected by his Zanpakutō's unique ability to absorb the spiritual pressure of anyone he kills to strengthen himself, a power so terrible that even captain-level Shinigami have been known to flee before his might. He sees defeat as a sign of weakness and displays an outright refusal to accept it, even rising again in an injured state to resume the battle. In both games in which he appears, Arturo is portrayed as possessing a level of confidence bordering on arrogance, even going as far to attack the Soul Society single-handedly. Even after making a deal with Aizen, he strongly implies a desire to murder the former Shinigami Captain twice.

Name: Fenix (Command: Hatch)

Represent: The name behind it means Phoenix. However, the power of the Zanpakuto is a representation for Arturo's lust for power.

Looks: Fenix takes two different forms. The first form is a pair of green wings, that look similar to Letzt Stil wings for quincies. The second form is a pair of multicolored wings, when the second pair of wings release, Arturo's strength, speed, spiritual power and durability all increase by a huge amount.

Description: Arturo's Sonido is amongst the fastest of Espada, similar to Coyote Starrk, he simply appears rather than shimmers.


Name: Immense Spiritual Pressure

Description: It is noted several times that Arturo has an overwhelming amount of spiritual pressure, exceeding that of Captain-level. His presence can be felt from a very long distance. He is so powerful that the need of a Reiryoku-absorbing item that could potentially kill the user was necessary.

Description: Arturo's Hierro is strong enough to take large amounts of damage even by some bankai. When he unleashes his Zanpakuto, his Hierro's durability increases

Description: Arturo uses a massive version of the Cero that inflicts major damage. It is red in coloration, but it is far bigger, and has proportional strength to its size.

Description: Arturo's Bala is capable of punching holes into his opponents, and the concussive behind it is great, in proportion to his rank.


Name: Gran Rey Cero

State: Both

Description: Gran Rey Cero is a Cero that only Espada are allowed to use. It is performed by mixing an Arrancar's own blood with the Cero. The result is a Cero with a much greater attack power and speed as well as a change of color unique to the Espada. It is also many times more powerful than a normal Cero, capable of disturbing the fabric of space, it also seems to spin like a razor upon release as compress and decompress due to the sheer speed and raw power. It is a drastically potent Cero, used only by the Espada themselves. This attack was first used by Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez in order to incite Ichigo Kurosaki into donning his mask.[6] It is stated by Ulquiorra that using a Gran Rey Cero is one of two things that are forbidden while in Las Noches, as it is so overwhelming that it could destroy the fortress.

Description: In places with high reishi amounts, Arturo is able to forcefully absorb the energies in order to gain more power. The longer his ressurecion remains the more powerful he becomes as he continuously consumes them. The power is similar to that of Bounts or Quincy. He is able to heal wounds with this power.


Name: Spatial Prison

Description: A unique and apparently more battle-oriented version of the Negación technique used by Menos Grande. Arturo can summon a powerful circular shaped spatial prison that temporarily paralyzes targets absolutely. In contrast to the white Caja Negación used by the Espada, it is black.

Description: A more powerful version of Cero, used only by Espada after Ressurecion.

Description: Arturo hardly ever uses his zanpakuto, claiming that he doesn't need it. He is able to fight his opponents without his zanpakuto, by utilizing his Hierro and great physical strength.

Description: Arturo is capable of shapeshifting, taking the forms of other individuals, as well as change his spiritual pressure to match theirs, making him a perfect, undetectable replica. However, he is unable to replicate their attacks.


Name: Beam Saber

Description: As a substitution for actually using his Zanpakutō in battle, Arturo can manifest a powerful, dark colored saber of energy that materializes when his fingers extend forward. The saber produces lightsaber-like sounds when swung.

Description: A supplementary technique used by Arrancar to devour as many souls as possible within a large radius to significantly increase their size, power, force, and spiritual energy, while being content from the devouring of souls. Humans that have spiritual awareness, or mediums, can resist the technique, even if they only have the slightest amount of reiryoku.

Description: Despite usually using his hands or beam saber, Arturo is actually a skilled combatant with a sword. He can fight with extreme speed and precision, and fights with his left hand, while using his beam saber with his right.

Description: Arturo has demonstrated an ability to be very detail oriented when it comes to fighting. He notices his opponent's mannerisms and discerns with ease the reasons behind those actions and the weaknesses and strengths of his opponents. He is also able to look at unfamiliar attacks and figure out the way they work just by viewing at least once.

Description: Arturo has the ability to fire X-shaped projectiles. The blast seems to manifest a short distance in front of him, apparently summoned from above him and not from his own being. The power behind these is similar to Getsuga Tensho.

History:

Human Life- Early

Arturo was born into a warrior tribe, residing deep within a massive jungle. Even at a young age, Arturo was constantly considered in high remark. He was under demand for many applications, from hunting to mating.

As he reached adulthood, Arturo continued to ponder to himself the reason why he wasn't the leader of his tribe. Night after night he planned for a way for him to get the power he so rightfully deserved.

After many nights of planning and covert operations, Arturo had finally amassed a group large enough to fight for supremacy. Every member on Arturo's side was either threatened or tricked into his separatist force. Despite being outnumbered 3 to 1, Arturo continued with his crusade and eventually killed the former chief, taking his place as leader of the tribe.

Human Life - Later

Arturo ruled over his people with an iron fist, killing those who went against him and oppressing those who followed him. His lust for power led him to amass an even greater army so that he could conquer the rest of the world.

Arturo's army shook the very ground it walked on, and conquered land after land, civilization after civilization. His conquest had sent him venturing to new lands and much of the world was under his control. However, the remaining free people and a few of his own people rebelled against him and freed the world through his death. His spirit was caught by hollows entertained by his conquering and transformed him into a Hollow.

Hollow Life

As a Hollow, Arturo was still powerful, but he became exceptional. Due to his strange power, Arturo managed to completely salvage the power held within those he killed and add it to his own. Eventually he was able to kill enough hollow to become Menos and continued to eat more and more.

As he grew in strength, he eventually reached the power of Vasto Lorde, but to Arturo, the power he had wasn't enough, he wanted more. So in a vain attempt to increase his power, Arturo ripped off his hollow mask, hoping to gain more power from Shinigami.

Much to his surprise, the process actually worked. Arturo had become more powerful than ever, gaining the abilities of an Arrancar, to date, Arturo is the first ever Arrancar.
