Not doing homework (Rukia)

Ichigo sat at his desk staring at his math homework. The printed numbers and questions stared back at him, taunting him with their cryptic solutions. Letting out a sigh, Ichigo threw his pencil down to the desk, leanging back on his chair. He was never going to finish his homework at this rate. He still had to go out and patrol the town tonight. He would have to catch up on his sleep in class again. It was a vicious cycle. Stay up late, sleep during class, be too tired to do homework, repeat. School was more like a formality now then a nessecity.

Letting his eyes wander around his room, he looked to the ground where Rukia had been laying on her stomach. He didn't know what she was doing, but she had been silent since he began his homework. Putting his hands behind his head, he leaned his head back, closing his eyes. A small nap wouldn't hurt.

His mind wandered off into a dream. He didn't know where he was, but he could hear Rukia's voice calling his name. It was getting louder and louder with each passing second. Ichigo's eyes snapped open as he let out a small yell, jolting awake. Losing balance on the leaned back chair, he tumbled backwards, landing on his back, hitting his head off the ground.

Rukia glared down at the orange haired boy with her phone in her hand. On the phones screen a bunch of little blue dots had appeared. This was causing the small silver phone to beep like crazy. " Get Up Idiot" the impatient sounding girl barked toward the collapsed teenager. As she did so a yellow plush animal stuck his head out from under the bed. Yeah get up Ichigo your upsetting my Rukia Chan the lion moaned. Before it began kicking the boy with his left foot as hard as a stuffed foot could. Rukia shot the perverted plush animal a slight look mentally insulting him. And then looked back at the startled substitute shingami.

" There’s like five hollows on the west side of town. Get up!" She continued to growl as the beeping on the phone got louder. As it did so he her violet eyes went down to the screen again. Two more dots had now showed its faces upon the clear colored screen. " Dammit two more." She said slightly too herself as foot steps could be heard walking down the hallway. It was getting kind of dark outside , so the brunette girl ignored it. Figuring it was just one of Ichigo's younger sisters getting ready for bed. Kon then deiced to hug Rukia's leg lovable. Growling at him slightly she grabbed him by the ear and threw him at Ichigo.

Letting out a groan, Ichigo rubbed the back of his head where it had collided with the ground. He sat up at the sound of Rukia's voice, rubbing his eyes. There were hollows already? Usually they didn't show up until later on in the night. Standing up, Ichigo caught Kon as Rukia threw him, digging his fingers into the plush lion's mouth. Ignoring his groans and chocking noises, he fished around until his fingers found the familiar round surface of the spirit pill. Tugging it out, he put it in his mouth, swallowing it.

As his spirit was separated from his body, he wasted no time, running over to the window and sliding it open. Stepping onto the ledge, he looked back at Kon, "Try and finish my math homework, will ya?" He said with a grin, winking at the spirit that inhabited his body. He'd rather be out fighting hollows then stuck at his desk doing homework. Jumping out of his window, he leaped onto the adjacent rooftop, waiting there for Rukia. "Where did you say they were?" He asked her, turning around.

Rukia gave the lion a weird look as it made a face at Ichigo. Aw come on the perverted lion complained threw Ichigo's physical body. Ignoring the lion's pleas for her to stay she made her way over to the window. Holding on to the window sill she jumped out to join Ichigo. As he feet the ground and slight wind blew threw her skirt. She then looked to her phone again briefly as she was asked were the hollows were by the orange haired boy. She then made a face at the dots on the screen. The blips seemed to be getting closer and closer by the minute. Either the hollows were forming a social group or her phone was being a moron.

The sit of it made her want to scream at Urahara for it , but they should probably check it out first. " They 're all gathering in the park for some reason.” She informed the dark eyed boy as she looked up at him. Suddenly another larger blip appeared on the screen. Not wanting to waste time she broke into a run. " Come Ichigo" she called to him as crash could be heard coming from Ichigo's room. The brunette girl figured that it was just Kon being and idiot and ignored. When she was close to the park she stopped to check if Ichigo was following her. Crossing her arms lightly she waited hoping he hadn’t deiced to take on of his side trips.

Ichigo followed close behind Rukia after she had told him the location of the Hollows and headed off. He had also heard the crash in his room, but like the other shinigami, had decided to ignore it, wanting to take care of the more pressing matter at hand. After a few moments they were at the park, staring at an opening filled with hollows. There were at least half a dozen of them gathered, all circling around the soul of a little girl.

Wrapping his hand around Zangetsu, Ichigo used shunpo to dash over to the group, slicing his blade through the hollows, their cries ringing into the night. It took him nearly no time at all to defeat the group of monsters, clearly being on a higher level of skill then the mindless beasts.

After all their forms had been reduced to dust, Ichigo walked over to the small spirit who had taken cover by some trees during the battle. Kneeling down, he looked at her as she cowered away from him. He didn't blame her, she was probably terrified. "It's okay, you'll be somewhere safe soon." He said gently, holding Zangetsu backwards, stamping the hilt on the little girl's forehead.

Rukia continued to look at her phone as Ichigo rushed to save the girl surrounded by hollows. On the phone of her screen three large dots had appeared on the screen. Which told a menos grande was somewhere around. Making a face at it she ran over to were ichigo was as he sent the soul to the soul society. Reaching into her pocket she took a soul pill and popped it into her mouth. Which released her soul reaper form for her bottom. As she put her had on the hilt of her sword her gigai went to sit on a swing. The girl then looked to the direction in which she was feeling the most spiritual pressure. As she did so she saw a rip in the sky were a menos was coming threw.


She then shunpo closer to it as it was looking to its right. As it was doing so, she looked back at Ichigo. When her back was turned the menos shot a shunpo. Hearing the sound the brunette made a sound and dodge it just in the nick of time. After moving she faces the menos and holds her blade out in front of her. " Dance Sode no Shirayuki" she says activating her zanapktou. "First Dance, White Moon" she says next which causes her blade to glow. Wondering if Ichigo was coming she slash at the menos which causes and pillar of ice to form around the menos grande. As he turns around to face the orange haired boys direction the pillar breaks in half and takes the menos with it.

A short second later another one starts coming threw the same hole.
