Hello, old friend. {Ikkaku&Matsumoto}

Ichigo walked through the streets of Seireitei, wandering around aimlessly. He had come here earlier for a meeting with the Captain of the 1st division, and had been just hanging around ever since. Most of the afternoon was spent visiting old friends, people who he hadn't seen in ages, some almost a year. He carried a bottle of sake in his left hand, the liquid swishing around as he walked. It had been a present from someone Ichigo didn't know, but they insited he have it.

Heading into an area shaded with trees, he sat down with his back against the trunk, popping the top off the bottle. He brought the bottle up to his nose, smelling the clear liquid. He had never had sake before, and was getting more curious about how it tasted as more time passed. Putting the bottle to his lips, he tilted his head back, taking two gulps. Letting out a sigh of releif, he felt the sake travel down into his stomach, sending a warm feeling through his entire body.

Ikkaku was ready and willing for a good old fashioned fight. he had trained with Kenpachi the day before, but now that was teh past and here was the present. He sighed in his own boredom and mental anguish from feeling this way. If only he could sleep all day like Hozukimaru and still be strong. That was beyond the point though so there was no use crying over it. He continued to walk thinking of a plan of sorts.

He smiled as he felt a very familiar reitsu signature. One that, for weeks now had not crossed his mind at all. It was Ichigo Kurosaki! Ikkaku went off into a mad dash drawing Hozukimaru and his sheathe at the same time jumping as he saw Ichigo. His body spun now horizontally as his blade and sheathe were coming for Ichigo. All Ikkaku wanted to do was initiate a good fight or atleast have Ichigo block an attack or two.

Taking another swig of the sake, putting the lid back on and setting the bottle in the grass next to him. He rested his head against the tree, closing his eyes. It was a beautiful night, the crisp air carrying a light, cool wind. Maybe he would stick around Soul Society for a few days. He had missed it here. School could always wait.

Feeling a familiar presence, Ichigo opened his eyes just in time to see Ikkaku heading straight for him, his sword and sheath heald in his hands in his typical fighting style. Smirking, Ichigo picked up Zangestsu, who he had placed next to him on the ground, and held it infront of his body, blocking his attacks with easy. "Madarame-kun! Long time no see!" He said with a smile, raising Zangetsu for a counter attack, he brought down the large blade in a brute strike.

Ikkaku smiled at Ichigo blocking with ease and smiling at him a glint in his eyes. His fighting spirit was rekindeled, but it was rude to do as he did and not speak so he sheated his zanpakuto and looked at Ichigo. "Too long Ichigo! You are getting slow. You better get ready cause next time i won't stop my attacks."

Ichigo laughed at his old friend's comment, replacing Zangetsu on his back, Heh, yah. I gotta start practicing more, just fighting the hollows that show up in Kurukara town is making me rusty." He walked back over to the tree he had been sitting at, returning to his previous position. Taking the cork out of the bottke of sake, he took a gulp, wiping his mouth with his sleeve, offering the bottle to Ikkaku.

Rangiku sighed as she walked around the Seireitai. The younger boys, even the more experienced shinigami men, would constantly take a glance at Rangiku's cleavage. Each time Rangiku would do the same thing. Grin and flash 'em a flirty wink. She hated when some of the women would assume she was what the humans called slutty. Rangiku hated that. There was nothing wrong with being a bit more open to flirt with others. She spotted a certain Ichigo Kurosaki and Ikkaku Madarame. She brought Ichigo into a crushing hug while swiftly slipping the sake out of his hand into her soft palm. She grinned as she turned back to them both and smiled, waving the bottle in one hand then raising it to her lips. After taking a fews sips, she handed it to the bald Ikkaku Madarame. She wiped her lips with one hand while grinning at him mischeviously. "Sorry Madarame, but I can't pass up sake. Especially when I see someone who I haven't saw in a while has it. So how are ya Kurosaki?" Rangiku said with a carefree smile and a flirty wink.

Ikkaku sighed at all that had taken place before him. Ichigo had, with his new found peace, admitted his weakness and feeling of rust. The young boy then sat down at a tree like it was okay to be weak and sipped sake. Ikkaku scoffed and turned as he tried to offer some to him. It was as if he would drink before he even had the time to train or even get warmed up at all. It was truly sad.

Then of course the busty broad of the gotei thirteen strolled along and a sigh escaped his lips at the expectation of a bald joke, but one did not come. In this case she took his offering of sake, that he did not want of course, but still it was his and drunk it. She then offered some more to him. His hand wrapped around the gourd throwing it into the air and with the unsheating of his blade slicing it in half. "Hi." He squinted expecting a scolding, but not caring.

Ichigo's eyes widened at he was enveloped in the couchiney softnedd of Matsumoto's chest. A blush rose in his cheeks as her breasts pressed against him. Even after all this time he was still awkward around women. Especially ones like Matsumoto. Ichigo looked at the ground at he responded to her, not wanting the woman to see his blushing. "Ive been good."

Ichigo watched as Ikkaku sliced the bottle of sake in half a smile forming on his lips. He was probably going to recive an earfull for that one from the busty shinigami standing next to him. Walking over, he sat down next to him, his back against the trunk of the tree

Rangiku smiled affectionatly at Kurosaki. She nodded as she twisted a lock of her long strawberry blonde hair between her fingers. "Well, that's lovely. Shouldn't you be back in Karakura Town by now? If i'm correct, you humans are starting the school year thing, right?" Rangiku said calmly to Ichigo while releasing him from her crushing huf of happiness at seeing the little orange haired boy. Rangiku's eyes narrowed at hearing the sharp crack of Ikkaku's zanpakutou slicing the bottle in half. She cringed, hearing the innocently delicious sake hit the ground. Rangiku spun around, pointing one index finger at Ikkaku's bald head, of course, it wasn't on purpose. To Rangiku, that was just the most noticable about Ikkaku Madarame. Her eyes seized up in anger. "Madarame!!!!! Don't waste perfectly fine SAKE!!!!!" Rangiku screamed in a tone scary enough to make the Espada cower in fear. She slowly turned back around to face Ichigo and smiled. Haineko could be heard laughing from a mile away, but Rangiku ignored it. A small mumble escaped the place where the zanpakutou was sitting. "At least you have lovely hair Rangiku-san!" Haineko yelled. Rangiku laughed before nodding quietly to herself.
