Ikkau Madarame tries to get some rest

Ikkaku walked slowly, very slowly lost in his own thought and lack luster boredom. His eyes slowly closed his mind fading in and out allowing him to gently touch a restful sleep that he so deserved after a night of training with the legendary Kenpachi Zaraki. He had held his own against his captain for over ten hours with the patch on and ten minutes with it off noting that both times were increasing by nearly twice their original states. A smile spread across his lips at the thought of a good fight and at the sight of a shady tree in which to rest himself until the next fool came to challenge him.

He slowly, surely inched his back against the tree and slid slowly down the tree allowing the warm sun bathed bark to scratch a very bothersome itch that Hozukimaru would not have been pleased to reach. A slight sigh escaped his lips as the warrior marks on the outsides of his brown eyes slid narrowing with the closing of his eyes. Just as his mind was about at rest and he was nearly asleep a loud noise awoke him allowing for a horrid display of anger at the source of the very worrying problem.

"No! Wake up right now Madarame! There is no way in hell you keep me up all night and then you are alloted to rest all throughout the day as you damn well please!" Ikkaku slowly opened his eyes and pulled his zanpakuto from his hip sheathe and all. His hand raised as high as it could and with a small swish sound his zanpakuto was plunged into the ground to the hilt. A smile shown brightly as he still heard the cries of his zanpakuto spirit clearly, but knew that he had won this battle.

Ikkaku sat there under his tree smiling slightly at Hozukimaru's rantings when he felt another, weaker, spiritual pressure from above. His slight smile quickly changed face and shifted upside down into a slight frown. He truly did hate disturbances, but he was training so he could shut Hozu up and get to practice a bit. His smile returned and as he was about to stand and open his eyes he heard the very affeminine clapping and frowned deeply noting that this person was a female.

He then heard her speak to him asking him his name and rank. He supposed that it was mandatory, but the fact of the matter was that he was not into this whole introduction thing, but he would play along. he stood and opened his eyes, his warrior's paint widening as he looked at her. he sighed at the young looking woman and spoke with a very annoyed tone. "Madarame Ikkaku. eleventh Division, Fourth Seat."

A yell sounded from behind a thin cream colored screen as a curvy female sillouhette walked off. It was none other then Rangiku Matsumoto's beautiful figure. Rangiku was sitting at a sake bar, as usual on slow days. The woman who had been overseeing didn't like that Rangiku had been there half of the day. Rangiku didn't like it at all. It was just a sake bar, right? And she wasn't causing any problems. While the woman wasn't looking, she snatched a gourd of sake and quickly walked out of the sake bar, sake in hand. She blinked as she felt a familiar spirit pressure nearby. She walked in it's direction and noticed the familiar bald, shiny head. She let out a laugh as she walked up to Ikkaku Madarame. "Now now Ikkaku, don't be mean to the young shinigami. It makes you look bad." Rangiku said to him in a playful tone.
