Siren takes the appearance of a young woman with wavy, blonde hair and grey eyes. Her skin is somewhat pale, in contrast with her nails which is usually painted black with nail-polish. She wears a standard Shinigami uniform with the lieutenant's badge around her left arm. She is also almost constantly seen wearing a beret. She is also quite tall for a female, with her 5 ft 11 inches she is even taller than some male Shinigami.

Personality: Siren is often described as dreamy, silent and obedient. She won't hesitate when her captain gives her an order, even if it involves sacrifising herself. Outside the life as a lieutenant, she is very mysterious as she disappears when she got spare time. Seated officers is known to be afraid of her, as her special reiatsu-pattern can capture people with lower reiatsu than her in a dream-like world. Siren is also not very talkative and can't be considered good company when a person is bored. She may seem very emotionless and cold, but this is because an incident during her childhood; as she was a Human test-object in a failed experiment, causing her to lose most emotions.

Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Name: Hisan'na Kagami (Japanese for "Disastrous Mirror")

Zanpakuto Looks: In it's unreleased state, Hisan'na Kagami takes the form a of a nodachi with a seafoam-colored hilt and a rectangular tsuba. Siren carries it over her right shoulder. Siren often describes Hisan'na Kagami's personality as cunning, vengeful and lusty.

Released Zanpakuto Description: When Siren swings the released Zanpakuto, it will create big mirror-shaped wall capable of reflecting any reiatsu/reiyoku-based attack back at the attacker. One mirror only takes an instant to create and will last 2 posts. The barrier will shatter if it attacked physically however. Hisan'na Kagami can also create mirror images of Siren which has the same reiatsu-pattern as her to trick enemies, this is done slower than her first ability, as it takes 3 post to do it and has a cooldown of 5 posts. Siren can create 5 mirrors in one post, maximum, which also can combine and form a defensive sphere with the same properties as the mirrors. When Siren has created 13 mirrors, she has a cooldown of 3 posts. Her Shikai is great for defensive purposes, but lacks offensive capabilites. Her Zanpakuto is a Kidou type.

Released Zanpakuto Looks: Hisan'na Kagami takes the appearance of scepter with a silver handle and a ball in front of it, tha ball rapidly changing between all colors of the rainbow.

Bankai Description: Hisan'na Kagami's abilities is enhanced further in Bankai, as the mirrors it creates isn't destroyed when it is attacked physically as the attacker will go straight through the mirrors, but they can be shattered when a natural mirror e.g. water reflects the mirror (though this does not affect the manifestation of the spirit). The mirrors last for 5 posts, and has a cooldown of the same amount. She can create 26 mirrors before a cooldown of 3 posts affects her. Hisan'na Kagami can also manifest itself as a siren-like creatures made of the same material the mirrors is created by. Also, Siren only needs to move her hand in a gesticulation to create new mirrors, but this takes longer time than if she had used her scepter.
It also obtains a new ability, called Yosei no Uta. Siren canalizes her reiatsu through manifestation of her Zanpakuto, allowing Hisan'na Kagami to create a hypnotic song that only affects men. The men is drawn towards Hisan'na Kagami, completely hypnotized and unaware of anything else around them, making them easy preys for Siren. Though, pain can distract the men, but as none of them can inflict it on themselves, a female must do it. Female can't even hear Yosei no Uta. Yosei no Uta can only be used 3 times in a fight, as this strains both her Zanpakuto-spirit and her. This can also be evaded if they are blocking their hearing-sense with e.g. music close to their ears or simply has great willpower.

Bankai Looks: Siren's Bankai takes the appearance of two objects; the manifestation of her Zanapakuto spirit, which Siren controls with her mind, and a scepter similar to her Shikai, but bigger and with a hidden blade under the ball on the top of it.

Bankai Name: Sairen no Hisan'na Kagami (Japanese for "Disastrous Mirror of the Siren")


History and RP Sample

History: Siren was born in the 65th Rukongai District and had to struggle to survive, as her parents was killed by Hollows. She, along with several other children, had to steal food from the finer districts to get food, as the competition was hard in the district she was born in. When she was 56 (looked much younger) years, a mystic Shinigami abducted her to the 12th Division to use her as a 'lab-rat'. She lived in a rotten basement along with several other lab-rats. Some of them had intimidating appearances, but were usually kind and tried to take care of her. The ones with more 'normal' appearance often tended to behave weird or try to eat you, she was told by one of the less mutated ones, called 'Mother' by all other lab-rats, because of her kind nature. The only insecurity she possessed, was an extra eye on her palm.

Living in the basement was almost better than living it Rukongai. They got to sleep in peace, without caring if someone stole your food. It wasn't warm, but not so cold that they died of it. They hardly got food, but many of the lab-rats didn't have high spiritual pressure, thus didn't need to eat much. Siren felt more accepted by the people around her in the basement than the people in Rukongai and finally felt that she had a family. However, all of her family died one by one, as their bodies couldn't take anymore of the pain the felt due to the experiments. However, before 'Mother' died, she told Siren her dream. "I want... You to become a Shinigami. You are strong, you can avenge us. Kill 12th Division Captain for me." Those were the last words of the only mother Siren knew. 12th Division captain's experiment on her brain damaged her fatally. She the most of her memories, except what 'Mother' said. And it damaged her emotion-center, losing some vital emotions as well.

A voice in her head constantly said that she should become a Shinigami. She took the entrance exam in the Shino Academy, barely passing it. Still, she wanted to do what the voice in her head said. After seven years of education, Siren Cancao graduated with decent grades in swordmanship and shunpo, but top-grades in kido. By this far, she had started to get used to living with 'normal' spirits. After some solo-training, she was offered a position as an unseated officer in the 1st Division, which she gladly accepted.

Most officers in the division were afraid of her, due to her odd reiatsu and emotionless attire. However, the division's lieutenant Chojiro Sasakibe, felt sorry for her and offered to train her. At first, Siren declined his offer, telling him arrogant that she didn't need his help to become stronger. He asked her to consider the offer as she left the scene before going on a low-ranked mission. As she returned, exhausted and wounded, her decision was clear. After recovering, she told him she wanted his training lessons. He explained as the lieutenant of the 1st Division, he was busy almost always, but he usually got sparetime at night in the weekends.

As they started their training lessons, Siren realized that she was only decent in kidou, though she was the best in class in the academy. Chojiro didn't focus on kidou, however. He discovered that Siren's proficieny within swordmanship was pretty low, as she only knew the basics and faught very predictable. He taught her to 'predict the unpredictable' and how to release her sword.
However, as time passed, Chojiro got less spare-time, due to the incident with 'the shinigami that had illegally obtained hollow-powers', causing her to train with fellow officers or just alone.

Decades later, after long training, Siren now held the position as 3rd seat. Before the winter-war, Captain Commander Yamamoto gave her the responsibility of the lower-ranked Shinigami within the division, as both the he and his lieutenant were going out in the war. She was given the orders to keep the division out of trouble.
As she didn't have any feelings about the outcome of the battle, she lacked hope as well. However, when the news of Aizen's and Yamamoto's death hit her, she did feel something, but even she was uncertain about what she felt.
When the new captain commander was apointed, but no new lieutenant, as Chojiro was still capable of continuing, though he was heavily damaged. Before he recovered, he said to both the captain commander and her that he wanted to retire. And he wished that Siren would replace him. The Captain Commander approved Chojiro's wish, but only to test if Siren was worthy the position.
The new postion was completely different from being 3rd seat. She got more respect, higher demands and was noticed.
It took time getting used to it, but the captain commander saw that she was doing good and told her that she could keep the position.
After he defected from the Soul Society, Siren was immoblized. She didn't understand why he did it. How he could. As a new captain commander emerged, Siren still doesn't completely trust her superior officer and always keep an eye open for mysterious activity.

Current: Siren is trying to find the old 12th Division Captain and kill him.

RP Sample: The rain kept coming down. It was a long time since it had rained that much in Seireitei, Siren thought. She continued to stare outside the window, eyes focused on nothing but the thin air. She wondered if the Captain Commander was outside or waiting inside another division, as she had left before the rain started. Siren's eyes catched some Shinigami running around, attempting to not get wet. As one of them met her gaze, she looked down, mostly in respect.

She lifted her head and checked if the man still were standing there. He were still standing, looking directly at her. She was tempted to ask Do you want something from me?, but refrained and instead activated her reiatsu-pattern. She noticed that the man immediately froze and his pupils widened. She let go for a second and kept staring into his eyes. Siren saw that the man fell on his knees and breathed heavily. She got up from the chair she was standing in, but before she could turn away her eyes caught a glimpse of a couple under an umbrella, smiling and laughing.

The feeling in her stomach spread itself through her whole body. This was one of the remaining feelings Siren had. Envy. She envied every Shinigami with the ability to love. Hate. She hated them. She hated this feeling. Another feeling connected. Pity. She felt sorry for herself. And hate again. She hated the man that had done this to her. She hated him. He deserved to die. As sudden as the emotions had washed over her, they disappeared and she the indifferent look in her eyes returned. She couldn't see the couple anymore, nor the man that stared at her. She heard the door to the barracks open, assuming it was her captain, she walked slowly towards the door.
