Personality: She's quiet and happy, often relaxed. She doesn't usually speak until she is spoken to, unless the situation requires words. She doesn't usually care much for socializing but, again, if the situation needs it she will. Her view on shinigami isn't the same as most Quincies. She actually prefers to be around them more then her own kind. If the Soul Society is threatened, she will defend it just as she would defend the World of the Living.

Techniques

Name: Hirenkyaku

Description: Hirenkyaku is analogous to the Shinigami Flash Steps or the
Arrancar Sonído. The Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over
short distances; according to Uryū Ishida it is faster than flash steps, though Mayuri
Kurotsuchi's superior speed suggests that this is just a generalization. To perform
the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to
the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and
Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances.

Name: Ransotengai

Description: This is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. It was originally created to allow elderly Quincy to fight effectively, and is rare enough that Mayuri had never encountered a Quincy (out of the 2661 that he examined or studied) who could use it before Uryū. Mayuri stated it as "the most powerful technique for the Quincy," but he did not know of the Quincy: Letzt Stil, which means as far as Mayuri knew it was the strongest.


History and RP Sample

History: When Kuroda was born, she was extremely weak. Her mother and father had no idea if she were going to live because she was just not in the right condition to live. The doctor who looked at her, Uryu's father, said that her heart was probably not strong enough to keep her alive much more then seven years so her father didn't even bother to take part in birthday parties. In fact, after her sixth, her father took off and left her to live with her mother. As a result, Kuroda's mother took up her maiden name and also changed her daughter's last name from Ishida to Harumi. Kuroda has never changed it back because of her father's absence and her mother's death. When Kuroda turned seven, she suffered through a long period of her heart attempting to fail on her. Her uncle, Uryu's father, brought her back time and time again until he could finally get her a new heart. Since she gained the new heart, she had been quieter and obediant in a way. When she had her own heart, she was loud and giggling and bouncing around always. Once she got her new heart, her father came back and attempted to make up for his absence but his daughter never really forgave him. After six more years, her mother was killed in a car wreck. Her father then began to train her as a Quincy, when she was 13, since he would not have any male heirs. At first she struggled with it but after six months, she got it. Later on, when she was 14, her father disappeared not long after her grandfather did. She later found out that Mayuri Kurotsuchi killed both of them but held no grudge against the Captain like Uryu seemed to. She now lives with Uryu and his father while she works a job as a teacher at the Karakura High School, teaching History classes.

RP Sample: I yawned quietly as the boy walked into through the shop door, brushing the hair away from my bright green eyes to get a better view of his shirtless body.

I waited impatiently as I watched the boy shut the car door and slowly make his way towards the shop entrance. Was I usually this anxious for customers to come in? No, usually they were old guys who liked to pretend they had a chance with me. But this guy? Did he have a chance? Oh hell yes! He had the tan skin of a Californian, odd for a place like this sure, but it didn't change the fact that this guy was walking through the rain without his shirt on. His six pack glistened as the rain droplets reflected the dim fluorescent lights on them, drawing even more attention to them. But his abs weren't the only perfect thing on him: He had deep, dark brown eyes that looked like they were piercing right through to my soul and his cheekbones were high, his lips full, and I'm sure if he spoke, he would have that deep sexy voice most guys would love to have. When he smiled, his teeth gleamed white. And I don't mean like that dull white people get from cleaning their teeth, I mean they were WHITE! They gleamed, looked as white as snow too, perfect straight white teeth to go with his Californian tan and those gorgeous eyes.
The beating of my heart in my throat notified me that I had stopped breathing for too long because of this B-E-A-utiful guy. I felt around under the counter for my inhaler and wrapped my hand around it as a precaution since that would probably happen alot now that he had finally made his way up to the counter.
"Hi, my name's Casey, we're going hiking up here and we need a guide," He said, flipping his dark blonde hair out of his face. My smile that had been on my face since I'd seen him faltered when I heard his voice. Okay, so I was a VERY picky person when it came to guys. I prefered brown eyed, well-muscled, sexy deep voiced, indian guys. If they weren't indian, okay, I could live with it. But... no deep voice? For a buff guy like that? Yikes! No, I'm NOT overexagerating. This guy's voice sounded like the kind of voice you get from breathing in helium out of balloons. Literaly.
"Oh, um, I'm your girl." I grinned, "I'm the only one on shift though, the others were supposed to come back from lunch three hours ago. They only went a little ways up the ridge."
"That sucks," The guy grimaced in his oh-so-uncool voice. "My buddies and I are trying to get all the way to the top to see if we can watch the sunset."
"How many people do you have with you exactly?" I frowned, glancing over at the mini-van he had gotten out of. Huh... when had it been a mini-van again?
"My girlfriend and my best friend. His name is Jackson." He grinned, "You're going to LOVE him, girl. He is the most romantic dude I've ever been near. It kind of makes me sick."
"Um, alright, well, I guess I could go with then."
" 'At'ta, girl," Casey laughed his too high laugh.
