I had been some time since Maxwell had arrived in soul society after his absence, he seeked some sort of reconciliation hoping that his former friends would not judge him wrongly for becoming a Vizard. To Maxwell’s surprise he was allowed back but he was not allowed to join the gotei 13 which was ok with him at first but, now Maxwell was looking for something to do, some way to make himself useful.
On a rather peaceful and sunny day Maxwell decided to make the trip to squad 1 barracks to seek an audience with the new captain commander. Maxwell was allowed into the barracks and led to the office of the captain commander where Maxwell lifted his hand and lightly knocked on the door.
